I’ve just come across this set of archives. It was lovely to see Sidney and Phyllis Logan in their butchers shop. It brought back many happy childhood memories because our family used to spend lovely summer days on Allenby beach with them.
I went to Maryport in about 2017……. a living museum,,,,it was like being in 1930s Wednesbury..i liked it…but it was quiet,as if a lot of people were absent..the same day i went to Cockermouth, which was lovely too..
+fanksie79 I was the opposite, you now live in Hastings, I was brought up in Hastings all my childhood until i was 21, and now moved away, but i do miss it.

I was 1 year old then. My god, things have changed and I'm only 35. I love seeing the old cars and shops, they say everything about the time.
