In this video, we are building a custom miata interior, and go through the entire Rocket Bunny Widebody Miata custom car interior rebuild, from crashing the car to finished. building a custom interior in 15 minutes today, and it took forever, we couldn't fit everything in this video, but it is still a banger. This is more of a "custom interior build" rather than a "how to build a custom interior" but I hope you enjoy either way.
Back in 2017 when I first got this car, the interior was almost all original, save for an aftermarket drift style steering wheel and some miscellaneous trim pieces. Actually, I’m kind of glad it had the mods that it did, because I’ve tried to get into a completely stock Miata, and couldn’t fit with the OEM steering wheel on it.
We built a custom dash, fully suede doors and flocking on the dash, we shaved the vents and everything is awesome now. Hope this gives you custom car interior ideas for your build!
Building a Rocket Bunny Miata in 10 minutes as a 4 year timelapse. It took that long to get the car where it is today, but now we're moving fast to make it even better. The car has been riced, crashed and cleaned again.
1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata [THE NEORUNNER]
Rocket Bunny Widebody kit, avery bright gloss orange, all that's left is the engine bay.
This was a 1992 "Black Miata". All Black Miatas were painted black (no real surprise there), had a tan top and tan leather interior. They also came standard with power windows, power steering, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels and an AM-FM/cassette stereo. For an extra $1400.00 you could get a package (known as "Option C") that included a Nardi wood shift knob and hand brake handle, stainless sill plates, BBS 14" wheels, cruise control, headrest speakers, and an automatic antenna. Separately you could order a hardtop, automatic transmission (why?), ABS, air conditioning, a CD player and a limited slip differential. While the Black Miata was a special edition, it was not a limited edition and Mazda built over 4600 of these. The Black Miata listed for around $3000.00 more than the base Miata and that price didn't include the Option C package or any of the the other options. - www.justacargeek.com
By April 2017, the car had the rocket bunny kit ordered and ready to be mounted, I bought cheap wheels and thought I was the shiznit. After losing my job, I had no cash flow available for the car and I let it sit. While taking a break, I gained an interest in Sci-Fi film, cyberpunk films such as blade runner! After getting hired onto my new job, it was time to start the build up again, until I casually threw it off of the side of the freeway. After having a completely thrashed ricer project car, I knew I couldn't give up and decided to rebuild the car. Clean it up, get everything straightened out and looking nice. Up next, ENGINE BAY!

I'm 6'2", I fit in my stock miata because someone previously did a foam cutout on the driver side, and the seat sagged further.
Oh yeah, foamectomy works great for tall Miata drivers 👍

I did a spin and electrical tape job on my first cars head unit, ever since then I've made sure to do a proper job on all the head units I've installed(7 of them), solder, heat shrink, wire strippers, the lot. Just gives you the comfort of knowing it's safe and that it's not just going to randomly fcking stop working as you drive down the road.
Scary stuff when you see that rat’s nest and it lights up in flames. I’m not the best at electrical, but definitely something to make sure is done right.
Amazing content, film quality was fantastic and as a Mazda owner my self there are so many things I now want to do to my interior!

We used a flocking kit that had an adhesive, but no paint. We brushed on the adhesive and then those fibers stuck to it.
So maybe show what it looks like in the end.
whats them wheels specs?
15x10 -58 with a 205/50r15 stretch. Want to go wider, but then it wouldn’t move HAHA

Do you plan on modifying the engine ?
Once we are out of California, yes! Emissions and engine swap laws suck here. For now, we’re going to fully clean and rebuild the engine bay
Sooooo... yeah, that looks like straight crap. Just throwing my opinion out there. BUT, really, my opinion does not mean shit, everyone has their own style and deserves to do what ever they want to make a car their own. So good on you for not being a cookie cutter guy.
I watched this whole ass video only for this guy give us a final 10 seconds showing the finished product? And in gleaming sunlight where you can't see shit? Using the sun light and poor video to hide the imperfections, eh? The white door panels look dirty as hell too, or not painted. Sucks because I was genuinely interested in the final product

When I move out of California… for now, we’re going to clean up the engine bay and repaint everything.

Why not just buy new seats? I know most seats dont fit but im know some do and anyways you could bought miata na seats off ebay or smt
No miata seats are going to look like new, they are all cloth and totally thrashed, plus, I don’t fit it anything else. XD

Creativity! I am a designer, and my mind is OVERWHELMED with ideas, new designs, photography, graphic design, 3d design, concept art, oh, and cars too.
All of this combined just flows into each video I make.
