Nice man but if you do this again I strongly suggest you don't cut the tabs off when doing the fender flares. Cutting them off does 2 things on a unibody car, 1 it comprises lateral strength in the rest of the body panels that were cut and if your driving can cause the fenders to rattle and 2 unless you seal that opening water will get in-between the outer layer and the inner layer which will cause rust and rot. Rather than cutting them all the way off you can roll them into the wheel well then just seal by undercoating the well. Just an observation but other than that beautiful job 🤙🤌🤙
@@shplayshiggty7537 yes! good points. I sealed the rear fenders. I feel cutting was necessary though because my wider tire and wheel set up. But interesting to see examples of flaring instead of cutting.
Man I just watched this after I just got my 96 Miata with 98k miles done the valve cover gasket, shifter rebuild/short throw, loved the build just wanted to ask about the bikini top, does that replace the soft top or can you do use the bikini top and still run with the soft top down like you can with a hard top with the soft top down
You can run the bikini top and keep your soft top, although the version I had, you will have a plastic "bar" running across the top of your windshield. I believe the company that makes the bikini top also offers a version where you can use parts from a junkyard soft top to latch it to the car.
