Day 2 cold turkey. Watching this while chewing viciously on 2 pieces of Dentyne Fire. Anxiety is through the roof but freedom is just over the horizon. I’m done with this hellish habit. Good luck everyone.
Fucking rights! Wreck that gum girl!! I'm on day 3 or four I cant remember. I have stopped about 3 times now since I was 18 for 4-6 months but seem to fire back up for about the same duration. For me it is a particular friend who I just truly enjoy smoking darts with that gets me going again. The second time I stopped was the damned worst. Barn reno, working at heights (I hate heights) and full on Ukranian immigrants with nothing but the basic english HA! Still makes me chuckle. What set me off then was the cats around the farm. Their fucking legs just seemed inappropriately long for how slender and low their tummy was to the ground. Pissed me off I say!! I am having fun with this withdraw though. Taking time to just really study myself in it. Pointers for cold turkey beginners: Take a nice solid week of building a "quit wall" in your head before you start. Build it high and dense. I cant really describe it its just made out of pride and determination. I found that helped for me. Now I am not dealing with the mental side of the addiction I could have a lighter in one hand and a dart in my mouth and not even care to light it. Just the physical withdraw. Super tired all of a sudden but cant sleep. Focus is out to lunch. Cats are chill this go round though. Seen one going laying on the neighbors grass ... WAIT ... he was just flat on the grass his legs are probably inappropriately long too. That fucker.
I think withdrawal severity depends on how hard you were a smoker. I used to smoke 2-3 packs a day. When I quit, I literally lived in a hell for about 3 months. Thank God those days have passed, and I've been smoke-free for almost 3 years now. Edit: As of May 2023, I'm 5 years free from smoking now. 2nd Edit: as of Sep 2024, Im 6.5 years free from smoking. You can do it guys, the cravings are temporary, mine didn't last more than 9 months and I smoked 60 cigarettes a day!
This is exactly how i stopped was by enjoying it. Every time i had a craving i closed my eyes and embraced it and the craving disappeared. This was 6 years ago. Good luck if you are quitting.
Were you able to kick it Erica? Im on day 4 and yes, the mental part was really hard this time, I found myself getting really angry about errant thoughts running through my mind.
I'm on day 6 nicotine free. Yesterday and today were really tough. My head keeps telling me to try another time but my body keeps reminding me of the horrible reality. Nobody wants to be ruled by cigarettes. Thank you for your message. I listen to you every time I get a craving ❤
I tried to stop probably 20 times, the past 5 years.. I relapsed after a few days.. 4 weeks ago I got Covid, and I felt I started having trouble breathing and I got scared.. I am terrified of getting sick because of the cigarettes, so I finally quit! 😀😀 I am getting close to 4 weeks smokefree ☺️ so proud of myself ☺️❤️
35 days into non smoking, just wanted to give hopes to those starting, the worst is the first 3-4 days, then it gets exponentially better. Trust me! Stay strong
@@MysticVeil yes at first I was fine I just started having symptoms of being in a panic state and I’ve been nauseous also threw up I’m not really craving the tobacco as much just my body going through the motion but I was smoking for 11 years so I guess that factors in …but idk some ppl say they’re still experiencing it as well but …some say they don’t I’m hoping it will go away soon tho
Not for me, it's been 2 months since I stopped and I'm physically constantly tired and mentally deeply depressed and lacking concentration and motivation. Apart from the skin on my face which has improved a bit, everything else has gone to hell unfortunately for me. I hope all this goes away soon 😢
i quit smoking cold turkey 3 years ago after many attempts. What worked for me fighting the withdrawals was just a change of mindset. I kept on telling myself "i've been through so much sh!t in my life, withdrawal is nothing"... yeah that helped a lot. Instead of being afraid of the withdrawal symptoms like in previous attempts, this time I challenged them. When the withdrawal symptoms attacked, I remember I would challenge them like "bring it on, is that all?"... Surprisingly enough, I had minimum to none symptoms after the 3rd day..... on previous failed attempts they lasted longer than a week, something I cannot explain - maybe because a lot of the symptoms could also be in the mind.. Another thing that I believe it had helped was to consider myself an ex-smoker from day 1 and that made me extremely happy and I kept on going... Some people might find this a bad idea and I understand, but what I also did, I did not clean my ashtray, I did not throw away my cigarretes, and I kept on hanging with smokers. They were right in front of me on purpose.. this way I found easier to challenge myself. I would see the dirty ash on the ashtray thinking that all this was going inside me.. I kept my cigarettes to challenge myself...and I hang with smokers because I just knew "they want to be in my shoes, as ex smokers" - so I never got jealous, they were. I did not avoid my triggers, I challenged them! Today, looking back at the time when I was a smoker, I just don't get the point why I smoked...it was so stupid and a waste of money and health.., simple as that. oh yeah, and one more thing (sorry for the long post), my worst withdrawal challenge was when I was thinking "what would I do without a cigarette? how would I spend my life from now on?" -simple answer, thinking of it as of today...... -> "nothing would change, you'll do the same things as you did before. remember when you were a non-smoker? keep that thought, how was life back then? did you miss out anything? no - but certainly you did miss a lot after you started smoking" I hope I helped someone with this.. take care
Bingo! Thank you for sharing your experience Andy! How we experience the withdrawal depends on 1) overall health 2) our mindset 3) our nutrition. So it's no surprise you had an easy withdrawal once you changed your mindset about it. Congratulations on your success🙏🎉👍
I quit marijuana with 0 problems, i left cigarettes alone and sat in the bed for 3 days couldn't even wash dishes or take my trash out. Those things should be illegal.
I’m on day 3 of quitting both and damn, I never thought weed would be easier to kick than cigs but it’s true. All I want to do is sleep but for now I’m going with it.
They are WAY UP THERE in addiction….. WAY UP THERE! ..i slammed heroin in my neck, on meth, smoked crack, last stage of alcoholism - sober now 4.5y…. Nicotine has been INCREDIBLE. Man….. Seriously, NO JOKE. Poison.. Sheer poison.….
Day 2 cold turkey. I woke up with the worst body aches i have ever experienced. So bad that i felt like i was going to faint. Still have a migraine but i was able to eventually sleep off the body aches. Never again 🚭
Been a smoker for 27 years 1-2 pks daily . It’s been a week and I’ve barely had any withdrawals yet , the cravings have been pretty mild and have been passing relatively quick . This is my 3rd serious attempt and the previous attempts were much more challenging . At this moment I feel I can really quit this time and finally be done with this expensive , gross , and deadly habit ! Update : 4-25-23 day 77 still going strong no patches or any nicotine replacement for at least 2weeks
4 days cold turkey, no nicotine therapy. And on the 3rd days, I felt muscle pain in all part of my body like when you have the flu, I have dry mouth and throat but these are freedom signs !GOOD LUCK TO ALL QUITTERS! WE’RE GOING TO DO IT!!
Vaping increased my blood pressure by 25 points and this prompted me to reconsider quitting. I normally run 120-125 over 75, and now I am running 153/85. Such a stark reality check.
I quit on May 1st. Literally the anxiety and depression is compounded by the coronavirus shutdown and recession fears. But this is as good of a time as any to get healthy.
I just quite a week ago and I'm going through some massive brain fog and fatigue symptoms. Really hoping it gets better because I'm starting to feel so dumb and slow haha
@@DRonin I got both also. I didn't get my energy back until a week ago. Now I'm swimming and working out. Hang in there. It gets much better. I'm at about 43 days and I may get 1 or 2 cravings a day that pass quickly. 🤩 congratulations
Yes you’re right the fatigue is insanely severe, but try to take natural complements such as vitamins, eat a lot of fruit and drink a lot of water!! Because the nicotine leaves your body when you pee!
Try mucuna puriens - it's an herbal dopamine precursor. Also the amino acid L-tyrosine is a dopamine precursor. You can also try adaptogens like ashwagandha. But remember when trying new herbs and/or supplements always start with an extremely low dose to make sure you won't have a bad reaction - the saying is go low and slow.
Extreme fatigue? I dont understand. I have been 16 days without smoking and i can only sleep for like 7 hours tops and i feel great i have to get up cus i cant sleep anymore. But then again i have been working night shift for years and im used to sleeping 6 hours a day
Drink more water and Take more electrolytes eg 1-2 tsp of pink salt. You could also consider the keto diet or fasting every day for 14 hours eg from 6pm -8am
After 14 years of smoking at least a pack a day (I’m 28) I stopped cold turkey. Today is day 2. I can’t stop bugging out for a smoke no matter how much I try. But. I will not fold. I hope 🙏
Hi I am Sumit n from india Got motivated by seeing ur video I was a chain smoker from last 20 years. From last 37 days I am cold turkey. I am too going through the withdrawal symptoms which making my life hell. But by watching ur video I feel relaxed Thank you so much mam
Im 15 years old, it is sad to me that i am having withdrawals. Nicotine has been ruining my life and this is my 3rd day cold turkey. I needed this video thanks
Been vaping heavy for 3 years now. I’m going on day 4 cold turkey and promise you guys I won’t cave in. I think of all the money I’ll save, my health, and mental state. I’ve also been thinking that if one can get through the withdrawals like this it’ll just be that much more rewarding once you get to the other side. We got this people!!
Here's a tip: dont let your body feel like you need nicotine. Remembering a time when you didn't smoke or vape whatever will make you realize you don't need it and you carry on a little easier.
Not very easy too do when you have been smoking 2 plus packs a day for almost 20 years. I've been at almost 2 and a half packs a day for 10 years. I dread going to sleep because I spend about 2 hours coughing mucus up before I can fall asleep , and about an hour after I wake up coughing up mucus. I'm quitting cold turkey tonight because I am tired of this. This addiction is hell for me.
I feel like my senses are super heightened when I quit for 5 - 6 hours. Noise sounds twice or three times as loud. I feel my hands on my golf club too when I don't smoke for this long. Thanks for the encouragement!
I quit 4 days ago on august 4th after feeling like doodoo for weeks on end. People don’t talk about the nausea a lot but it may just be the way my body deals with anxiety. Honestly this video inspired me. Like my coaches have said all my life: “NO PAIN NO GAIN!” Looking forward to the good days, weeks, months, years!!!!!!!
I was addicted for almost 13 years. I quit on cold turkey. It's been 7 months now. The feeling is awesome. I feel so much energy in my body. I have started to look much better than earlier. Guys all I wanna say is it's not that hard. Drink more water. Start doing some physical activities & breathing exercises. Good Luck :)
Thank you so much Mrs. Davos. It is great to have an ex-smoker trying to help smokers quit. That is a gem. I’ll be sure to watch more of your videos. Because I am desperately trying to quit atm. I first picked up smoking approximately 18 years ago. I took my dad’s cigarettes. I just wanted to be like him. And I also thought it was cool. It became really bad because I’ve been smoking heavily since after I dropped out of HS. It helped me relieved myself and I just do t want to smoke anymore, I kind of regret it, I was a fast runner and I could hold my breath to 4 mins. I could’ve done something else with that kind of stamina. Maybe even a Navy Seal. This time I am turning things around and I’ll just try out for Rangers after I get into the US Army.
I'm not a smoker but this is interesting. Im currently withdrawing from 5 year daily suboxone use, so I understand withdrawal.. Stay strong folks. You've got this.
I’ve “quit” multiple times, longest I’ve been off is 3-4 months at once. The #1 reason I have fallen back in is due to alcohol, and being around people who smoke while drinking (I would end up bumming a cig). I believe that one must reduce or avoid socially consuming alcohol to succeed with nicotine secession in the early phase (at least the first 5 months). Stopped at the vape shop the other day, but just sat in my car questioning whether I really needed nicotine at all. Decided I didn’t, and drove off. At first, I went ahead and bought patches and things were going well, but then went to the bar and ended up buying a pack of cigs. Smoked the pack then went cold turkey, currently on day 4 without nicotine. Interesting how nicotine has invaded my entire life, even in my daydreams of the future. In my dreams, I see myself smoking while doing what I love. It is like the chemical is an old friend; but, it is not my friend. One must take note of thoughts influenced by addiction, and not act upon them. I am confident I will make it out of this addiction, I just have to avoid the triggers.
Very helpful video. It's my second day without smoking and the withdrawal is horrific...my hands are extremely tingly atm and I'm actually enjoying it because of this video...I was worried but now I'm happy
I've been free of nic for about a month since September, but prior to that, I was 3 months without it in May. The worst part is the mental craving for it. Physically I don't need it, but mentally I want it so badly
She gave very good tips and advice bravo. I was a heavy smoker I use to take 3 packs of cigarettes every single day for 16 years. But I stop 2 weeks ago and I never ever think to try once more u know why, now I feel so good very energetic and breath much better my skin on my face look good. I feel all of these good feeling everyday until I ask my self why I did smoke at the first place
She is on point!! She has relieved the anxiety I was having about the tingling in my legs/feet and the chest pain... Natural reactions to the body healing itself, makes me feel a lot better.
I happily vaped all day long the last 3 years. On 12/20 I got covid. 3 weeks later & I quit vaping because covid triggered night asthma & vaping was making it worse. Nothing is more uncomfortable than struggling to breathe at night. Stay strong everyone ❤
As uncommon as it is to hear this advice... Knowing what to expect will help you quit. Deep breathing and meditation is another great tactic. On top of this, Jesus Christ died on the cross and was resurrected on the third day to open access to the living God. And above all therapy and power, His love is power to get through the hardest of temptation :)
This headache is totally awesome!!! What I love the most is the pressure in my head feels like a super awesome nail gun is being shot from the inside of my skull and striking only what I can describe as the most sensitive tooth attached to my skull that needs a root canal. I am going to start smoking again after I get over the pain so that I can enjoy this pain again. Finally someone that understands the joy of pain... Thank you!!
How you experience the withdrawal depends on your overall health, mindset, and nutrition. This video talks about the mindset part. Dehydration, being prone to headaches, and having this attitude won't help your headache for sure.
To me it’s like a fight . My body vs all the symptoms and bs and even thoughts that tell me to smoke one. It feels good knowing I’m dominating those urges with my will power. It’s been 4 and a half days 😂
Keep going people. After about day 5 it got easier and easier, the worst symptom for me was extreme hunger at night but my mindset was “this is working” and I turned it around on itself and it made it feel rewarding. Deal with it and grit it out, I felt so much less agitated and much calmer afterwards, it’s like my system just went BZZZZOOOOOWWWWW and levelled out, great feeling. Gym was better, nicotine will halt your gainz, blood sugar lowered, probably blood pressure too, anxiety got better. By the way I was addicted to nicotine lozenges and vaping NOT cigarettes, so it doesn’t have to be cigarettes you’re coming off, any nicotine product you are addicted too. Nicotine is not good for you, people may claim it and say “it’s not the nicotine in cigarettes that’s bad”.....nicotine is not the worst thing in cigarettes however I’ve done lots of reading on it and it’s not good in isolation
How can I thank you?? You saved my life. I was addicted to nicotine since 2015. I tried at least 1000 times but I failed. But this time I quit nicotine on 31 may 2024 on 'No Tobacco day' and it's my third day. Just before watching this video I was thinking that withdrawal symptoms are hell. But after watching your video I'm enjoying these symptoms. Abd literally I'm feeling like I'm having positive changes... I'm grateful to you. A huge hug from India. ❤
You are a great influence and reason for me to quit smoking. From the first Ted talk video to the following videos you make the addiction go away more easy and millions of thanks to your comforrimg voice I am no more smoking that cancer stick anymore. You are the greatest!
i'm on day 10 of quit smoking.. I aligned it up with my break-up, lol. Let's not get rid of one bad habit, but TWO! To everybody desiring to quit, best wishes to you!
The key thing she mentions is staying nicotine free. I used some form of the product for many years. The worst of it was over in a few days. It's definitely doable.
Ive being smoking since I was 16 im now 33, I quited cold turkey 2 times. First time was for 1 year second time was for 1.5 years. Today Im starting my third attempt hope for ever. Wish me good luck. I can say it was not that difficult. Is basically mental. When we get withdrawal symptoms you need to acknowledge the feeling, embrace it, not resist it and actually feel good about that feeling. The other thing is being mindful about your smoking routine. Just remember when you routinely smoke through the day. One other thing that I experienced was the withdrawal symptoms were coming: 4th day steong then after 1 week strong then after 1 month then after 3 months and so on. And the most important think to remember is why you quitting and maybe develop a hatred about smoking in general in order to quit for good. Let me know on your experience.
Thank you! Day 3 of your 10 day Quit smoking program. Feeling grateful, motivated. Taken notes even thou I can re-watch and will do so. It's all about changing routine, mindset and perspective. Sick of feeling like a 2nd class citizen, creeping around to find a place where I can smoke. Grateful and blessed having found this CBQ Method, thank you!
Been addicted to Nicotine for 5-7 years now. I hit my breaking point this morning when I told myself that I wouldn’t buy any more Juul pods, only to find myself 5 minutes later making a U-Turn that felt completely out of my conscious control to drive to the gas station. I’m not sure if I’ll be quitting today, but this did open my eyes to the fact that it needs to happen.
Bro same, at least when I was smoking cigs, it was once a day-usually after work at night. Since the introduction of Juuls, it made it easier to get a buzz anytime/anyplace. The only positive was it didn’t leave a smell. Literally quit cigs only to now being unable to go 30min without hitting the Juul. It’s caused me to become addicted and regret ever buying them in the first place. At least with cigs I could quit anytime and go days without smoking, but this? This is a nightmare cycle
This is brilliant Nasia! I've been vaping simply because the withdrawals were too unpleasant. But then it hit me the other day, if I change my mindset about them, I will have a much easier time. I started saying "this is what growth and freedom feel like". It's helping and yesterday I had a great day embracing my first day of nicotine freedom
I had a heart attack and was using nicotine replacement products for 7 months. One night I took a few drags of a cigarette and before you know it I started again. I've been a smoker for 47years. I need some help! Thank you for your video.
Don't fall for the negative press that vaping gets. It worked for me. I vaped for about 8 months while gradually weaning myself off the nicotine, and then I went an additional 4 months vaping with no nicotine. Then I just got to the point where I was finding myself not vaping anymore, and it wasn't because I was purposely avoiding it, I was just forgetting to vape all together. Then one day at around the 12.5 months mark I just told myself that I was done, and I was finally ready for that commitment. I smoked for 33 years, and it's been more than 1.5 years since my last cigarette. I am a very old fashioned person who had a hard time switching to a vapor cigarette but I'm glad I did. I have no regrets and I suffered ZERO withdrawal symptoms. Good luck!
I am 20. I’ve been vaping 50MG nicotine since my 18th.. I have recently come down with COVID (recovering decently) and it has been giving me so much anxiety any time I hit my vape. I’m not hitting it as often, but I can tell it’s not helping. I have wanted to quit for so long. I haven’t really tried but I want to. I just have no idea if I can or how to. Seeing all of these comments makes me feel not so alone and hopeful. Send me prayers, good vibes, thoughts and manifestations please. I want to get my freedom back. God bless & good luck to you all.
Wonderful video! Thank you 😊 I'm 2 days in and doing pretty good, I'm getting pangs of anxiety which isn't like me at all but Jesus is with me and I got all you guys with this excellent information as well 👍 much love ! Very informative!
Thank you so much for this. I finally have my life back in order after a rough last year. I quit yesterday after smoking for 42 years. I am not feeling well, but I know it's all for the better. Appreciate all of your work and tips! Thank you!
This is my 3rd time quitting, first time cold Turkey lasted 1 month, hypnotherapy lasted 6 months, now cold Turkey again... I will easily quit smoking forever if I can hear your beautiful voice and see your beautiful face all day every day... ❤❤❤
Just got over a really bad craving, then I went to the store and a guy was smoking in his car. I got nervous because I just knew smelling the smoke was going to trigger another craving (especially since I just got over one 5 minutes before.) I feel proud of myself because overcame 2 cravings back to back. I quit on January 1st 2021, and it's the 14th. So far I only smoked part of a black & mild (I gave my friend the rest) and that's it, nothing else. I feel better, I can breath more easier. *Edit* the same night I wrote this, I bought a pack of cigs and smoked some 😣 sorry guys. I'm not giving up, I'll do better next time.
You will get there, one day you will be ready. I advise this, just don't think about it. Whenever a thought comes in just say no, I don't consent and find something to do. Keep blocking the thoughts that come along to sabotage your quest, just dont let the thought process screw you around. Good luck.
Great, just keep telling yourself you want to live, love and create. To do this you want to be clear, confident and in love with the natural world surrounding you. Starting the day with a cigarette and a coffee is not going to lead to a sparkling beginning. Good luck.
I'm day 5 without vaping, it is getting a little bit easier each day but I still feel kinda naked without my vape, I can't wait for that feeling to disappear.
It’s been 17 hours since I quit vaping, and right now hearing this gorgeous doctor explain why the withdrawal is a good thing, is keeping me from gnawing my arm or someone’s face off lol 🙏💯
Watching this after being 2 weeks free of Nic, first 3-5 days were definitely the hardest but if you can get past that, things get so much easier. Embrace nic withdrawal, it’s a sign that you’re winning.
@@faith9150 I quit cig for 8 months, it wasn't hard but I'll stick with something like running. I could run for 1 hour & 30 minutes none stop with jogging on LA & I started only 25 minutes but I made it everyday with progress so I'll set a big goal, if I was you.
1month so far. Not gonna lie it's still hard to resist old habits. Like I used to have a cig every morning while drinking my coffee and that's when the craving spikes but overall I am feeling much better
Thank you so much for this video! I'm quitting tonight. I've tried before, did good for awhile. Then relapsed. Wanna be done with it. Wanna be healthy and save lots of money. Thank you SO MUCH! This video changed the way I think about nicotine withdraws. I AM doing it!!
I just had oral surgery and I literally can't smoke unless i want to risk infection. I been wanting to quit cigarettes for a while now, day 3 no smoking, I have severe headaches. But I really just want to get through this and think about how much this sucks. That will definitely help me not picking up another pack.
I am off smoking 5 weeks.... Using 10 mg of nicotine patch. But now I am only leaving it on for 5 hours a day.... Loved your video and your right.... Keep away from Triggers Thanks so much
There’s so much truth, and what she said about what you tell yourself is very important and how you see it, your perspective of everything determines your reality and experience of it!
January 20 was 4 years smoke free for me, I wasn't even planning to quit. Just one day, I didn't want one anymore. After years of smoking, I was able to stop cold turkey! I never had any cravings or withdrawal symptoms. I had tried many, many times over the years and I am glad to be done with it.
Just made it to my first week, and the worst is behind me! Quit cold turkey as part of a 6 month long transformation journey I’m taking. First 4-5 days were AWFUL, but it’s only getting easier. Good luck to all who want to quit!

-> "nothing would change, you'll do the same things as you did before. remember when you were a non-smoker? keep that thought, how was life back then? did you miss out anything? no - but certainly you did miss a lot after you started smoking"
I hope I helped someone with this.. take care
Bingo! Thank you for sharing your experience Andy! How we experience the withdrawal depends on 1) overall health 2) our mindset 3) our nutrition. So it's no surprise you had an easy withdrawal once you changed your mindset about it. Congratulations on your success🙏🎉👍
Thank you
That’s how I quit smoking weed. I didn’t throw any out, and though I didn’t sleep for 3 days, I still didn’t smoke.
Thank you
You are wrong minded! I am trying this…. 30 minutes in
To everyone else that's thinking of going back remember how far we've came and why we stopped. Do it for YOU because YOU deserve freedom
This was inspirational as hell.
😂😂😂 fr tho
no fr. but luckily nicotine made me quit both
God bless all who are trying to quit! You got this, fight that voice!
Congrats, this is huge 🎉 you should be really proud, I am jealous of you for having such courage. I'm on day 5 today
@@cristinabenko419 on day 227 now :)
keep going , cravings last between 2-5 min , distract yourself until it passes .
@@cristinabenko419you go girl! 🤗 I'm day 25. These withdrawals (sore throat mainly) are sealing the deal of me going back. 🙏
Killing it!🎉
4 days cold turkey, no nicotine therapy.
Hows it going ?
I quit June 1st. I felt the same way 😂
I just quite a week ago and I'm going through some massive brain fog and fatigue symptoms.
Stay strong boys and gurls!!! We can and we will!!!!
Day 10 for me, and no one talks about the severe fatigue. Still with 8 hours of sleep, im waking up exhausted and zero energy during the day.
Yes you’re right the fatigue is insanely severe, but try to take natural complements such as vitamins, eat a lot of fruit and drink a lot of water!! Because the nicotine leaves your body when you pee!
Really ?
It's the exact opposite with no carbon monoxide in the system
I've had heaps of energy from day 3 , I'm on day 13 now
Try mucuna puriens - it's an herbal dopamine precursor.
You could also consider the keto diet or fasting every day for 14 hours eg from 6pm -8am
i’ve tried quitting about 4 times in the past 3 months and i stopped nicotine completely 15 days ago after vaping for 3+ years
Day 10 nicotine free and I am having horrible insomnia and the quitters flu 🤒 and this video made me feel so much better, ty so much! God bless you 🙏🏼
After 14 years of smoking at least a pack a day (I’m 28) I stopped cold turkey. Today is day 2. I can’t stop bugging out for a smoke no matter how much I try. But. I will not fold. I hope 🙏
How you doing so far?
I dont think he did it... its my 4th day did it since I was 15 now 19

Hi I am Sumit n from india
Got motivated by seeing ur video
I was a chain smoker from last 20 years. From last 37 days I am cold turkey.
I am too going through the withdrawal symptoms which making my life hell.
But by watching ur video I feel relaxed
Thank you so much mam
Withdrawal symptoms will prolong even after a month ..... ?? Surprising ...
Keep at it Sumit. Your doing very good man. Don't look back
Hell yeah!!!!! Push through!!!!
I'm on day 17 and STILL want a cig every second of every day/night
Keep going brother on day 1 of quitting capes haha
2 days no nicotine! Exercise alot, thats what helped me.
When you say exercise more is it because your body needs something to keep it occupied or is this a way to just get over cravings?
I would say to avoid depression and get some natural dopamine ;)
Being occupied also helps
Im 15 years old, it is sad to me that i am having withdrawals. Nicotine has been ruining my life and this is my 3rd day cold turkey. I needed this video thanks
Been vaping heavy for 3 years now. I’m going on day 4 cold turkey and promise you guys I won’t cave in. I think of all the money I’ll save, my health, and mental state. I’ve also been thinking that if one can get through the withdrawals like this it’ll just be that much more rewarding once you get to the other side. We got this people!!
Six weeks without vaping, don’t miss it, more relaxed, sleeping better. You don’t need it, it’s a gimmick. Best of luck
I've been vaping for 3 years and now I'm on day 3 of quitting. It's downhill from here. I hope you're still staying strong!
Hey did u make it !
Day 2…LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO
starting with day one cold turkey right now and struggling badly right now
Here's a tip: dont let your body feel like you need nicotine. Remembering a time when you didn't smoke or vape whatever will make you realize you don't need it and you carry on a little easier.
I was literally 12🤧
So if I become a child then I won’t need nicotine makes sense
Not very easy too do when you have been smoking 2 plus packs a day for almost 20 years. I've been at almost 2 and a half packs a day for 10 years. I dread going to sleep because I spend about 2 hours coughing mucus up before I can fall asleep , and about an hour after I wake up coughing up mucus. I'm quitting cold turkey tonight because I am tired of this. This addiction is hell for me.
Your profile pic is literally smoking T_T
I've been smoking for over 50 years. @@allantalley9669
The nausea is for sure a strong side effect of withdrawal for me as well but it to will hopefully (and for you has hopefully) subsided.

Yes everything leveled out and I’m doin just fine thanks.
Wow thank you! I really need to hear that it’s not hard even if it may be , but I just gotta have that mindset . I’m throwing mine away today

I'm so ready to quit, I'm not a heavy smoker but it doesn't matter it still affects my body. Thank you for this video.
Withdrawal is a sign of healing. That was the the most helpful thing for me to focus on. Thank you.
How did you get on mate?

If you smoke a few cigs when you drink you’re fine lol….unless you drink all the time…a few cigs here and there aren’t a problem imo
21 and been smoking for 4 years, quit today. Thanks for the video

ive been using for 7 consistently im 21 aswell im quitting starting tm hows your journey going?
And above all therapy and power, His love is power to get through the hardest of temptation :)
i threw away all the vaping devices i feel so good thank you
I quit vaping 2 months ago, best decision ever. The worst part was days 2-3. After that, it gets much easier. It is worth it. 💯
This woman's accent is amazing.
That was soooo funny......thanks for the laugh, and I hope that was sarcasm?
.....I needed that! :D

🤣👍 too funny!!!

The withdrawal actually feels good if you don't fight it
To me it’s like a fight . My body vs all the symptoms and bs and even thoughts that tell me to smoke one. It feels good knowing I’m dominating those urges with my will power. It’s been 4 and a half days 😂
Lol no it doesn’t. It sucks!

By the
way I was addicted to nicotine lozenges and vaping NOT cigarettes, so it doesn’t have to be cigarettes you’re coming off, any nicotine product you are addicted too. Nicotine is not good for you, people may claim it and say “it’s not the nicotine in cigarettes that’s bad”.....nicotine is not the worst thing in cigarettes however I’ve done lots of reading on it and it’s not good in isolation
I've had 4 cigarettes today, I have a quit date and coming for 2 packs a day I'm making really good progress so far
How can I thank you?? You saved my life. I was addicted to nicotine since 2015. I tried at least 1000 times but I failed. The key thing she mentions is staying nicotine free. I used some form of the product for many years. The worst of it was over in a few days. It's definitely doable.
Day 5 cold turkey here. Starting to feel normal again with some fatigue, thirst and hunger. Day 3-4 were the hardest though.
Hope your journey has been going well:)

You're very welcome Carol. You did it before and you can do it again!
Carol Denino you got this!!!! 💪🏼
Good luck!
I hope you quit! I wish you peace and good health!!🌈💜

Good luck.

Day 3 cold turkey!! completed, i think this is the best way. This time i got this
January 20 was 4 years smoke free for me, I wasn't even planning to quit. Just one day, I didn't want one anymore. After years of smoking, I was able to stop cold turkey! I never had any cravings or withdrawal symptoms. I had tried many, many times over the years and I am glad to be done with it.
thank you for sharing your experience!
Just made it to my first week, and the worst is behind me! Quit cold turkey as part of a 6 month long transformation journey I’m taking. First 4-5 days were AWFUL, but it’s only getting easier. Good luck to all who want to quit!
