    That looks fantastic bud! This is inspiring me to get a hair piece. I've bought a few & tried to style them myself, but I didn't do a good job. I'll have to see a professional. I wish there was a place near me. I'll have to go into the city.

    This is amazing to me. I have so many questions. I am not completely bald on top, but very thin. If I got one of these would I just have to shave the top of my head? Sorry if that is a dumb question. Just very interested in getting this.

    Hello Michael, you are very inspirational, thank you for doing that. My question is what is the product name of the glue and other products you use in this video? And what is the difference between tape and glue?

      thx Elia, thanks very much..i use safe grip by walkers, lace release and scalp pro, all from walkers :) tape is easy clean up but for me you can't beat a glued hairline for realism :)

    Hi sir, how do you remove color stain from lace base, which my system got while being diyed at salon? Even if the front hair line gets fixed then it would be a great help.. there are little dots of color on it

    Hello sir, I need your advise. I quit using a hair piece after 17 days. Due to itchiness, discomfort. The humidity and heat in Texas is insane. I'm gonna add your skype. Look forward to getting your advise.

    Okay so my hairline will not stay more then 2 or 3 days. I have used ghost bond and maxx hold bonds. Im wondering if I'm not using enough bond or what? I keep it dry for the 24hrs but as soon as I take a shower it come right up. Not a hot shower either. Any advice?

    Haha...first time piece user and I didn't get back up glue or adhesive remover (the place I get it from says they need to show me how to use the glue before they would sell me it, so I have to wait a week). Anyway, I had an accident and I did exactly what you showed on the video (before watching the vid) then used got 2 be glue spiking glue to hold down the front. Now I feel relieved that someone else did it the same way as me.

    What if this bond unglue during a windy day or a rainy day? Does it raise up? Does it happen in every shower? Or in a swimming pool? What happen at the gym when you are sweating so much?

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  7 років тому +1

      bonds can last a few weeks for most. you can sweat/shower as normal. if you get premature lift then you can simply stick down that area. swimming is fine...

    Lace fronts are good if you wear the hair back. I've learned that lace fronts are not necessary if you like a curly;wavy look where the hair will fall over the hairline in front hiding the unit's front hairline beautifully. Durability is what I go for and these lace fronts are extremely fragile and do not last very long. You find you're spending a lot of time doing this kind of maintenance. If you don't mind having to do this every 2 weeks or so, then go for the lace front. The lace front will tend to fold up on the ends over time, stretch and lose hair. These units, in general, don't last very long.

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  7 років тому +1

      lace is more fragile true..but they look better. hard durable hairlines look fake and my philosophy is.. if it looks like a wig then it defeats the object. looked after correctly quality made system can last 6 months to a year. lets skype soon and il teach you how to clean them properly :) (michaelgford) on skype

    Can the lace be seen at the hairline? I've seen drag queens who wear lace front wigs and the lace is very obvious.

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  7 років тому

      not if the lace colour is correct ..we customise the lace for wearers :)

      yep, just cut out some skin and mail it in. Make sure you let it dry out first so the blood doesn't seep through the envelope.

    What if you're not completely bald on top, you still have hair growing (like 15% density), would this system work? Would you have to change the system more often? Thanks!

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  7 років тому

      hi Timeldle , you won't need to change more often as the hair underneath just gets shaved down

    • @TimeIdle
      @TimeIdle 7 років тому

      Hi! Not sure what you mean by "shaved down". Of course, I understand that you should shave your head before applying glue and hairpiece, but what if your hair grows at a "healthy" pace underneath during the period that you have the hairpiece glued to your head? :-)

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  7 років тому +1

      your shaved hair will continue to grow underneath the bond..

    I'm not being funny but do you think the 'system' is losing hair at the front, you may need a new one.

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  8 років тому +2

      hi Muckell its extra light density at the front I think it looks more natural then not seeing any scalp..saying that it is 8 months old that one :)

    • @richardeliott1131
      @richardeliott1131 8 років тому

      mg ford Right it's just I can see some small gaps. It looks real but it looks like you could have some natural hair loss going on there. Maybe you could get some hair added. The rest of the system looks okay

    • @mgfordhairreplacementstylist
      @mgfordhairreplacementstylist  8 років тому +3

      yes I can send it back for more hair adds but when you get to 43 years old less is more, as long as the lace colour is perfect you can have super light densities :) lights were bright in that bathroom too :)

    • @richardeliott1131
      @richardeliott1131 8 років тому

      43 eh...didn't think you were that. Maybe 37 tops. well at least you're happy. thanks for the replies
