I am still and will always be in love with "Hear me". The combination of vocal colors in this ballad made absolutely sure that i will become a Neverland back in 2018. I soooo wish for more I-dle ballads.

This is the only Korean album where the majority of production on the b-sides comes from producers other than the members, with Soyeon only contributing with writing the rap. This changes on the next album which is fittingly called ‘I made’.
I can't wait for the new album! in my 4 years of being a Neverland, I've never been this excited for an idle album before I definitely think I FEEL is going to be their best release so far
I AM is definitely a weird album haha for me, I usually skip What's in your house and don't text me but I know those songs have some very passionate lovers
also, a fun fact, Hear me is the only song in their entire discography where none of the members were involved in the making process of it.
About cube's original "plan" for them, I think their vision was a group like 4minute (I could be wrong tho because this is just purely based on what I've seen from them pre debut) but idle started making their own songs and concepts so... yeah I don't think they were supposed to be a super "pop" girl group
Also, about reactions for reality type of content I really recommend you watch the recent series (Up to gidle) that they did as like a preparation for the upcoming album. i think it's a good start since it's their latest reality/variety content. Also, you have to watch their "idol human theater" episode for Nxde era it was HILARIOUS. and basically everything they have on 1theK channel idk why but 1theK + Idle is always just pure chaos and so much fun. my absolute favorite ones are the interview that they did with 1thek on the MMA behind the scenes and their"4cut live" video (they all just pop up when you search Gidle 1thek)
For music, other than their albums I think you'd love their covers (Yuqi and Minnie have done a lot of them) my favorite ones are Yuqi's Beggin' by maneskin , Flowers by miley cyrus (She also has done some Adele and lady gaga) and Minnie's "nothing" cover. also both Minnie and Yuqi have been on Lee mujin's show and both did a fantastic job so if you wanna listen to them SING I recommend those.
Their collaborations and solos are also fun

This is the 1st album of them 'I AM'. They want to show they can do diversity songs. What's they are All.
If I remember correctly than except latata and Soyeons raps the album was written for them. That is why the texts and the sound is so different from their other albums.

Soyeon was involved in lyrics and music on Latata, and lyrics only for the rest (except for hear me). Then for the 2nd album (I made), Soyeon wrote all of the lyrics (Minnie wrote "blow your mind" and participated in the music while Soyeon worte her own rap in that song) and Soyeon participated in the music for all of the song except Minnies "Blow your mind".
Soyeon wasn't involved in most of the production this album. Mainly the title track, the success of which won her a much bigger role in their future productions.
The vibey RnB flavor is very much my style, and really got me into them at the time.
She was.. she literally doesn't have credit in Hear me only if I'm not wrong 😭
