I traded in my mustang GT 5.0 for this model, the exhilaration, fun factor, exceeds my expectations 1000% ❤
Would love to try the Mustang out but alas Ford are one of a couple of cars companies who aren’t interested in loaning me cars. Hopefully one day that will change! Thanks for watching!
No popping or cracking. Thankgod the engineers were older then 8
Slight correction - the extra sound is not pumped into the cabin through the speakers, it is real sound from the sound tube. The airbag was modified slightly to allow more nouse to come in. All authentic.
Thank you for that and thank you for watching.
Amazing review!
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for the nice review Alex; well done.
Thank you for watching!
Thank you for showing us new MX-5! I’m waiting for mine red Homura, greetings from Norway 😊
Same here! MX-5 GT Canada 😀
A bonus for me is that im 5'5"!
5'6" with with my shoes on, lol
Thank you for watching!
@@vtwintora Haha same here (177 cm). The car will arrive in 19 days 🥳
I received my gray Homura 4 months ago. One of the funniest modern car ever driven.
Great fun review
Thank you for watching!
When you upscale the shift and brake boot from Redline Goods with matching leather, get the padded leather armrest. It will prevent accidental switch activation, allow for a nice comfortable arm rest and look very nice.
Nice review! I have a 2022 MX-5 GT soft top. The boot is fine. My wife and I took it on a 5 week interstate road trip. The boot has a narrow opening, but it’s deep and wide. It can hold two typical airline carry-on bags and some small back packs. It’s no SUV, but you sacrifice some convenience for a huge amount of fun.
And that is exactly the point of that car. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it and thank you for watching!
Alex, you're the best car reviewer in Australia with unmatched attention to detail which will be even better if you're able to mute the distracting soundtrack when you're talking.🙂
Thank you for the feedback!
Thank God for the English CC.
There are NO BLIND SPOTS. Set your mirrors PROPERLY. This has been proven in other videos.

Thanks for the tip.
An honest review. Cheers❤I think i’ll stay away from this one…
Wish Mazda put white reflectors where the snake LED fangs daytime running lights was, black plugs, are tacky
4:20 but how tall are you? That would be nice to know...
I’d love to own an MX5 but I purchased a BRZ … just a bit more practical.
Miata Is Always The Answer!
I’m ready for Mazda to come out with a new Miata.
I think a lot of people are. Me too! Thanks for watching!
Man you are way too tall for this car :) do you look over the windshield frame?
Hey, your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car. You can deliver mail in that car. Good for you. Maybe deliver newspapers too. I would still prefer the wheel on the standard left side, but to each their own. I still like the MX5. I prefer all analog gauges. Also, I wouldn't need to have electric seats. I like the RF version, and would probably leave the roof up all the time. I would also have the windows all tinted so nobody would be staring at me.
The steering wheel is on the right side. In every sense of the word right. Thank you for watching and your comments!
Turnback car? No way. The wheel gaps! My god!
Shame as it was filmed in 360p..Was this morning, now much better!
Nice quailty here in Norway 🤗
2160p here 🤷♂️
How tall are you?
I’m 190cm
For the metric impaired Americans, that’s nearly 6’ 3”.
Still feeling claustrophobic 😨😨
You may wish to temper the manual fanboy comments Alex. I love driving and until a dissolving spine got the better of me, was manual only. I have test driven an MX-5 a few times, but folding in and fairly ‘base model Mazda2’ platform turned me off. I decided to cut my losses. Relieve my dysfunctional back and purchase an E88 BMW 135i with the dreaded N54 engine. Even as an automatic, I am going to have to curb my enthusiasm, but the good thing is my useless left leg can stay useless as it has a clutch less manual mode. With some upgrades coming to freshen her up I will gladly take you on around any twisty road you like in your MX-5. Let’s see whose smile is bigger at the end of the run. Lloyd
Nah manual is great, allowing more connection and tactility with the car. Sorry to hear about your back though!
Sorry to hear about your leg, but I don’t doubt the Beemer would comfortably beat the Mazda.
With the MX-5 Miata it's either manual or nothing.
You don't buy an automatic sports car.
It would be my smile in my manual mx5 NA with coil overs anti sway bars custom performance exhaust and intake. I empathise with you, but with an mx5 it’s manual or nothing.
@@dougmaverick3287 after driving manual for 20+ years, i want a fun, zippy convertible as a daily driver in city traffic. absolutely want an automatic. won't ever take it to the track. but, if there's an alternative for under $60K AUD, i'm all ears.
Why do Brits add an “r” to words… like “Mazda-r MX-5?” I’m just curious where that comes from.
I don’t know. I’ll be sure to ask a British person next time I meet one.
@@4wheelsandaseat, lol, oops, didn’t realize you were Australian and that y’all did that too. Fascinating! Love your sense of humor as much as your accent. I have a thick Appalachian accent myself and do not have a great ear for other accents after years of linguistic isolation. Thank goodness I did have a Miata to make it through. lol
@@JJF1973 Haha. Just like the States there are a few different Australian accents :)
@@4wheelsandaseat, keep the great content and accent coming. It is very entertaining and informative.
This car is good for a Hobbits
I’m 190cm tall and I fit. It’s a bit snug…
@@4wheelsandaseat I am 180 cm tall with bulk body. Never Snug😁😁
6 foot + Black people can fit in them
