people who say chester was selfish need a little stab of who chester was like growing up, what was going on his mind, and everything else about how he truly felt at times. he wrote from the heart and one more light was mostly what he wanted to tell everyone. heavy showed that he had two of him. regular, and depressed, sadistic him. good goodbye was him saying that he has to get away from his past life and all the depression and shit and start a new one without the other chester. chester was a phenomenal writer for lyrics and still had shit tons of lyrics he wanted to write. he never was selfish. he never wanted to hurt anyone. he isn't in hell. he's in heaven being a newly angel with Paul, mitch, and the rev. rip chester bennington. hoping for a big memorial show for him for inspiring and helping millions of people who were feeling just how he did. he saved people but he couldn't save himself. but he will forever be missed in the underground and mainstream media. lots of love

I wonder what is the future of Linkin Park now. As much as I hate to tell myself this but I think they should break up because I don't see how they can continue without Chester, the most influential figure of Linkin Park. Although, I really would like the rest of the band to continue making music, especially Mike Shinoda. Mike was always my favourite aspect to Linkin Park and I hope to see him continue in his future endeavors. My thoughts are with Chester's friends and family. I'll miss him dearly and music will never be the same without him.
In both Metallica and Slipknot, the bass guitarists passed away, which wasn't as big of a hit as it is to lose the main singer of the band. Also, Linkin Park have been completely silent about the devastating loss and I just can't see them coming back from such an emotional tragedy. If they continue with Linkin Park, they will need to find another main singer, which will be difficult to do and will make the fans extremely displeased. No one has ever sounded like Chester and Chester has formed the band heavily to what it is to this day. And if they continue with Mike being the main singer, I don't see how that will bode with the fans. I love Mike but I just can't see him continuing on. Not to mention, Linkin Park will practically be unable to do any more concerts and tours because most of the songs that Linkin Park has produced was with Chester's voice. I'll continue to be an LP soldier and will continue to rock out to their music for years and years to come, regardless if they stay together or split apart.
When Bon Scott died, AC/DC didn't break up. Same for Queen with Freddie Mercury. They can keep making music to honour Chester's memory instead of giving up.

I was lucky enough to see them live once - on their very first Projekt Revolution Tour with Cypress Hill and Adema. I remember the exact date of the show I went to was February 2nd, 2002 - 02/02/02. I snuck in a disposable camera (this was before cameras were in phones) and almost got it taken away by one of the band's main security guards after a I took a pic of Mr. Han walking right past our front row seats just below us. I took some pretty good picture for a crappy disposal Kodak camera but I lost them from moving. RIP Chester Bennington. You were an amazing singer.

6 or 8 years ago they had a concert in my country, it was my biggest dream to see them live, but I was too young and my parents didn't let me go there.. I thought it's fine, they are a young band and there will be plenty of their concerts and one day I will be there...
