How to use Egg Rings To Make A Sandwich on a Blackstone Griddle

- How many times have you made a breakfast sandwich and it just was lopsided. With egg rings, you can make the perfect shaped egg, or even the bread for the sandwich. In this video's case pancakes! In here, I will walk you through cooking the egg, the pancakes and putting it all together! All using my Blackstone 36" griddle!

I still would have eaten it, but at least the dog gets a surprise snack.
pour half the batter in the ring, then put some syrup on it, then the other half of batter on top. That way you have syrup inside the bun like a McGriddle

Where do you get the egg rings?
A little late to the party here, but if you're still looking I have a video for the different types of egg rings, albeit it's a little older now. It's a great reference though and you can find links to them in Amazon in the description:

Did you use cooking oil or olive oil
Most of the time I will be using Canola oil.
Is the bacon precooked? Can you put the bacon on first at the bottom of the ring, let it cook and then add the egg on top?
Hey Ant R! That is really up to you, most important thing is to make sure the bacon is cooked before the egg so you don't over cook the egg or under cook the bacon. I'd say maybe cook the bacon on the griddle first then round them up into the egg rings before you add in the egg to be safe. Thanks for watching!

Could you not just flip the egg ring when you were pulling off
Hey Joshua, which time are you referring to? Most of the time the egg ring handles are up and prevent you from just flipping it.
Keep heat high, ensure surface is flat, crack egg and pour very slowly and you don’t need an egg ring
Sometimes though, tools only help life get easier 😀
I would have done the pancakes first then put them on the side of the griddle not lit too keep warm and then finished with the eggs. Taking the eggs off for that long would result in cold eggs and that isn’t appetizing.

Instead of punishing your wife with the thinnest pancake for not filling it all the way, you could thank her with the prettiest one for helping you at all.
