And because of the one chick has that ability that acts like a narcotic means it basically addicts vampires making it hard for people to leave. I mean, Aro has definitely been shrewd in finding ways to tether vampires he wants to his group. Can you imagine how powerful they would be if they had Alice? That is why he wants her so badly. And now Bella after the end of the last movie. I really like those 2 characters you mentioned (even more than the main 3 honestly) but had they actually died fighting for their family and the way they wanted to live in opposition to the Volturi, it would've been bitter Sweet ending. Instead they completely just side swipe it and everything was just fine and dandy. This is the Volturi here, and while Aro wouldn't want to risk his own death, he could've taken another course like Alice said and would've been likely to succeed knowing who dies to who and how to mostly avoid it. Overall, an ending where Edward and Bella live with Renesmee after a big sacrifice would've been a huge twist to read blow the minds off of those of us who thought the movies were greatly predictable.

1:07 if you look closely, the Volturi guards have surrounded Edward and Bella. It gives you a clue on how they died in the alternate ending. In the books I think Alice say that they will all die. We just didn't see that part of the Cullen's death because Aro reacted to his beheading and moved his hands away from Alice.
Almost all of the volutri guard that was worth anything was headless and smoldering, those 3-4 guards don't have a lot of hope being outnumbered and out gifted. Remember not only do they have to behead the vampires , they must also burn Hard for me to believe that after aro, anybody else in Carlisle coven died

The book specified his age yet they still got it wrong. Probably because a depressed middle aged man looks more realistic than a depressed 19-year old.
The threat is not eliminated. Jane is still alive and jelly of Bella. Caius is still aggravated towards the clan fratenizing with the wolves. Their story is over but that doesn't mean Aro wouldn't find another way to get what he wants. As he said, "we would not fight today."

I actually like that the last shot at 1:47 was of Carlisle after everyone else. Carlisle was so close to the volturri and he and Aro were friends. It may only be brief, but there’s a part of Aro that is almost shocked that he came to killing Carlisle so easily in the vision, despite their history with each other.
I just love it how the music goes at 4:42 because no matter what happens Bella & Edward Renesmee Jacob & all the Cullens will always Win in the end it makes me so happy that they can get away with everything. You couldn't be more wrong, and your statement shows that you know nothing about the series aside from what Hollywood has fed you. The Volturi is a force for good. Even Edward says they are good in the books. And he says this in the last book, I might add. The Volturi have methods that are not always the most innocent, but that's how you have to do things to control the world. And they serve a purpose, most of the vampire world sees them as necessary and good. If anyone deserves to die, it would be the Romanians. When they ruled, they were absurdly cruel, and they were careless and only interested in power. They let vampires kill all they wanted, as openly as they wanted. And in these modern times, that would spell death for the vampires. Aro is important, and a tentative friend to Carlisle.
Briana Pierce You are mostly correct, vampires practically owe their existence to the Volturi and they are needed to enforce all the rules so vampires can live without human threat. The only thing is they are very shady, and are willing to kill vampires just so they can claim gifted vampires.

Notice he said the girl was a "prize", I suspect he was plotting on being able to use her (possibly getting her to join him) after she has matured. Better to smile and play it cool for now, and after the Cullens start dying off mysteriously (plotted by him), he'll then finally destroy them - and take Bella's daughter.
Some here I have all the movies and books okay I was like 6 when I saw the first one it scarves me cuz they were killing James and. you have to remember I was 6 I didn't like that stuff. Then I had a TWILIGHT marathon with my cousin at like the 11 been I LOVE with it ever since I even know how and which movie the nomad's (Victoria, James, and lurant) died in and who killed them. Facts that I wanted to share to people who haven’t read the books: 1. Esme, Carlisle, and Rosalie never have had human blood. 2. The vampire/human kid Nahuel, actually has multiple siblings because his father is a crazy vampire scientist that is experimenting on hybrids. 3. The male hybrids are venomous while the females aren’t (according to Nahuel) 4. Caius is deathly afraid of werewolves (or children of the moon as they are said in the books) but states in the books that these wolves are “shape-shifters” and the wolf happens to be what they turn into!
Ann Pytynia she was a shield when she was human. and he knew that from her trip to italy. he could suspect it would be transformed to her as a vampire. as for the prize comment he always wants more power. ones with unique abilities. Bella and Alice's abilities along with a few others would be valuable to the vultui.

its probably because even if jane used vampiric speed, she wouldnt go any faster than alice who is also a vampire and can run just as quickly, and it would make things in the fight scene needlessly blurry and hard to follow for the audience of the movie.

I actually like that the last shot at 1:47 was of Carlisle after everyone else. Carlisle was so close to the volturri and he and Aro were friends. It may only be brief, but there’s a part of Aro that is almost shocked that he came to killing Carlisle so easily in the vision, despite their history with each other.

Even Edward says they are good in the books. And he says this in the last book, I might add. The Volturi have methods that are not always the most innocent, but that's how you have to do things to control the world. And they serve a purpose, most of the vampire world sees them as necessary and good. If anyone deserves to die, it would be the Romanians. When they ruled, they were absurdly cruel, and they were careless and only interested in power. They let vampires kill all they wanted, as openly as they wanted. And in these modern times, that would spell death for the vampires. Aro is important, and a tentative friend to Carlisle.

We see why Aro is the leader of the Volturi. He realized he had underestimated the Cullens and their allies, and instead of fight a battle he couldn't win - wisdom says its better to walk away today, and strike another day when the Cullen group was less prepared. Notice he said the girl was a "prize", I suspect he was plotting on being able to use her (possibly getting her to join him) after she has matured. Better to smile and play it cool for now, and after the Cullens start dying off mysteriously (plotted by him), he'll then finally destroy them - and take Bella's daughter.

1. Esme, Carlisle, and Rosalie never have had human blood.
2. The vampire/human kid Nahuel, actually has multiple siblings because his father is a crazy vampire scientist that is experimenting on hybrids.
3. The male hybrids are venomous while the females aren’t (according to Nahuel)
4. Caius is deathly afraid of werewolves (or children of the moon as they are said in the books) but states in the books that these wolves are “shape-shifters” and the wolf happens to be what they turn into!
