Numark should come out with Ns74 with dual usb ports and new features like having send and receive for external effects machine, platters ring like the Denon turntable, usb playback will be cool. It will definitely be a great seller and first controller to have send and receive.
Thanks been waiting on this one. Now I have to decide between this one or the DDJ SX2 sheesh. This one is about $200 cheaper too.... Help lol. Great review.
#Dope review! Been a minute! Either it's pretty light compared to the NS6, or you've been hitting the gym pretty hard, hahaha. You should do the Pioneer DDJ-1000 review as well. Currently have the NS6 and was gonna upgrade to the NS6II till I saw the DDJ-1000! Still caught in between.
Dru TheDJ I have the NS6ii; back when I used Traktor I had the 4trak, which was a great, solid controller while it lasted. I moved to Serato last year, and I got this unit last November, and it hasn't skipped a beat once, I love it. It integrates very nicely with Serato for my mobile work. The DDJ 1000 is an impressive looking device, however I don't have any reason to learn how to work with a new DJ program, Serato ticks all the boxes for me. If you're happy using Serato, I'd recommend this unit. If you're keen on Rekordbox DJ and what it offers, the DDJ might be checking out.
Totally agree. That's the only catch at the moment, otherwise I would have bought the DDJ-1000 ages ago, only that I'm Serato through and through, having literally tried all the major DJ Programs out there. Actually still have Rekordbox and Traktor installed, but I just can't seem to enjoy using either as much as Serato. Still enjoying the NS6 aside from a few gripes like the lack of performance pads, but aside from that, I love it. The only thing I wish the NS6II had, was slightly bigger jog wheels (I have huge hands lol), especially because of the display in the middle which has different functionality on the outer bit. Still mulling over what to get next. Heck, may even go NS7III.
I like the unit over all but one of my minor gripes with this particular unit as well as many other units is the fact that there are only 1/4 inch mic inputs for both mica there should at least be 1 1/4 and 1 combo jack in my opinion
Djbooth was thinking about upgrading from a numark mixtrack Platinum to this N6II. WOULDN THIS BE A DECENT UPGRADE TO GO A LITTLE MORE PROFESSIONAL? Is there a big difference in what this one can do versus the mixtrack Platinum?
Hey man looking to upgrade from my mixtrack pro 3/Serato to either the NS6II and the Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3 DJ Controller...my overall goal is to DJ clubs and events...which one should i get...price isn't really an issue
If you want to use Serato, then use the NS6II... If u want to use Traktor then get the S4 MK3... If you really want to DJ clubs and events then you should buy neither of these... In that case you would need a Rekordbox DJ controller like the DDJ-1000 or go for the CDJ-2000NXS2 or 900 and a DJM-900 mixer...
@@RealDJblaze damn thanks for the fast reply! wow this was not what i was expected to hear! If the NS6II isn't for clubs then what is it for? what does the DDJ-1000 have over it?..is the DDJ-1000 and rekordbox better because it's just cattered for live peformances? I'm favoring the NS6II because it resembles the mixtrack pro 3...would you totally advise against going with the NS6II? oh and merry christmas bud!
@@christ2664 Happy Holidays to you too. The DDJ-1000 has the layout of gear that you would normally find inside a club which is the Pioneer Nexus system. Usually DJ's don't bring their own gear to a club... they end up using the Pioneer setup that is there. In order to do this, you need Rekordbox DJ on your computer so you can manage your music. That way you can turn up to a gig with only a USB stick with your music and play on the club setup. The Pioneer XDJ-RX2 is also a good choice for Club DJ's. The Numark NS6II is dope but the layout and the software is just different than what you would find in a club or festival or event...
@@RealDJblaze man thanks for the great advice man, think im gonna go with the NS6II, i'm still a beginner and will upgrade to the DDJ-1000 when i get to that level! also would a club let me bring my own gear...the NS6II looks pretty mobile and easy to carry around
When my NS6II is in scratch mode and I hover my hand around the platters the music breaks. Who else is facing this? I unboxed my controller yesterday though
There may be a way to calibrate the jog wheels... I haven't had this in a while so I don't exactly remember... See if there is a touch sensitivity setting....
Hey can you please help me out? I have been using the mix track pro 3 for a while and want to upgrade would you say the ns6II is better than the pioneer sx2 or sx3?
I would get the SX3 out of all of them if you want to stay with Serato. The DDJ-1000 is likely my favorite DJ controller at the moment, but it works in Rekordbox...
i really apreciate your help with dowloanding this software
BROOO thankyou so much, this really helped and the tutorial was really easy to use as well :)
Thanks for watching!

I forgot about the Denon MC 7000 Sheesh. Ima watch all the reviews again lol sheesh.

The DDJ-1000 is great. I'll have that for review next week!

Great video.. I always like Numark over Pioneer....
Awesome program
I have one its awesome!! Great pads!
Yes fantastic review of a very capable controller from numark, but if you have a mixtrack platinum would it be worth a upgrade ? I'm not sure

Not sure anyone is going to complain about sound quality in XLR vs. 1/4, but I get your point...
But u can always put a 1/4 inch to xlr converter
It's an issue for me too... Make every connection professional/standard.
Excellent Review Give Thanks!.... Also What is that Watch name?
Thank you, audemars piguet
@@RealDJblaze Holy shit that's an expensive watch! Do you have any other means of living other than DJ'ing?? You have always be an inspiration bro!
Great stuff man, keep it up dude

Yo
That is definitely an upgrade. The NS6II is built like a tank and has better faders, jog wheels, knobs and everything....
@@RealDJblaze I went ahead and upgraded. Thanks bro!
What extra do I need to buy to incorporate my turntables with my Serato?
You would just need to purchase the Serato DVS Expansion and the Serato DJ control vinyl and you're all set.

Thank you for replying! The ddj 1000 looks amazing but it’s quite costly might have to wait till next pay day 😂
You think they would have put top notch faders. On such a great unit..
Its not a a set back for me
Native Instruments should make a Numark 4Track MK2
They really do need to make that. I wish they did...
DJBooth Pro Audio I think you Sponsor Native Instruments to say "They will do it, they have to do it"
Can this work with virtual dj
yes
Lol ript crap. Too funny. Lol
