It may look that way but it is not always the case. A lot of the time they have worked to buy one nice outfit and if it is an important event they will wear it. The happiness is free.

From my experience, a lot of Filipinas are not super concerned with age-gap relationships, but there are so many (little older) Filipinas with the same attitude.
I have a 19 yo son that she needs to meet; he’s very intelligent, kind, gentle and like her, he’s wise and mature far beyond his age; he also has a very bright future and will be able to well provide for his family, he’s also very family oriented.
Just kidding , save your 19 year old , he don’t need to get married so young , he needs a masters degree, use your money to get him educated, these gals will get in line by the hundreds after he becomes a doctor or financial expert

That should give you a couple of different perspectives on the Philippines. There is a huge difference in girls from the Province and girls from the City. You may want to consider venturing into the Provinces.
I want to find someone just like her or similar to her prior to women in the state all they want to be spoiled and not appreciate what they have or what you do for them and what you’re in financially helping them 🤦🏻♂️

I think she's sweet and intelligent, but I'm not sure I'd describe her a traditional. Saying she wouldn't set aside her goals for the sake of the relationship is pretty modern feminist thinking. But she still seems like a nice girl.
Compared to the US she is still very traditional because being Filipina she has the underlying family bond that you won't find as often in the West. A girl from the province would be much more traditional, she is from the city.

That is actually kind of the default. You will find a lot of good Filipinas who give this response, especially if they are the oldest child " Bread Winner" They will work multiple jobs to help support their family. Pia is one of the good ones, but there are some bad ones too.
@@PinayWise Oh now you are admitting it's very common as though it's a fashionable trend ...it is NOT. Why there's no mention of her grandfather? Is her grandma also a single mom?...as you said it's very common ... vicious cycles of single moms prevail in this country.
It is vey unfortunate. I have a lot of friends her age who have lost the father of the family to illness and accidents at disproportionate rate to the mothers. And yes a few to relationship separation but I would not characterize that as the norm.
There is something morally wrong with older First World men exploiting younger, desperate to get ahead, Filipinas. Marriage should be based on more than just a pick up. Shame on you all!
She needs Western men so badly right now, her grandma needs medicines and she herself needs support!! life is a journey, they can both do alot for each other
