I think* if I remember correctly, the 2 cannons from the beginning of the video are two of the 15in guns from HMS Resolution, a dreadnaught battleship that saw service in WW2 (and maybe WW1 I don't remember). The display of them is purely for decoration IRL and in game. I think that is a real display outside of the real imperial war museum.
Yes, they're kind of the most distinctive part of the Imperial War Museum in real life. Any picture of the front of the Museum will have them right in the middle.
Aww, and here I was thinking they might be laser cannons, which would solve both the recoil and ammo feeding problems (lasers would have no recoil, and a power cable connected to a power source would be all you needed for ammo feeding, which could both easily be protected inside the central metallic unit.)
i may have said this before. but this channel has got me through some difficult times. i can ALWAYS watch this and it will make me smile and laugh. if i was to list the times it would be quite a list. but thank you guys for making these videos and just haveing fun doing it too. may you guys have many more years doing this.
10:45 That is a reference to the opening monologue by Jason Statham in "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" (1998). The speech itself is taken word-for-word from the movie. Surpised Zach didn't immediately recognize that monologue since the movie's plot is driven by a pair of shotguns.
@@zacharybartolo5111 Do! It's a fun, crime romp that is pretty brisked pace and has some great dialogue. And if you like the crime genre, and a bit more Britain, would also recommend "The Long Good Friday" with Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren, and "Get Carter" with Michael Caine (the original 1971 version, not the 2000 remake with Stallone).
And same for the other crime related Guy Ritchie's movie. Snatch, Rocknrolla and the Gentlemen are all very good watch, tho the og still remain to me the best in how natural and off it looks at the same time
3:04 Zach is starting to sound a bit British when he plays fallout London when he’s angry I’m not complaining. I find it hilarious that it’s rubbing off a little bit😂
7:00 in the later models aka the magazine fed Mausers the bolt is hold open by the hammer and to let the bolt forward you push the hammer down engaging the hammer and letting the bolt forward.
I could absolutely see the British military building a stupidly big gun without considering what will happen if they actually have to fire it. Case in point, the FV4005
Hi Zach and Mike. The Roundels are supposed to be Mods, one of the subcultures in England who were known for their sometimes modified scooters and fine clothing. Miller's Men on the other hand are supposed to be Skinheads. I'm not sure if they are supposed to be Nazi Skinheads or traditional Skinheads though as I have seen black members of Miller's Men in my playthrough on the one hand, but they also use the crossed hammers symbol of the fictional fascist group in Pink Floyd's "The Wall" on the other hand, so... yeah, I'm not sure.)
the real funny thing is that it was proven in xcom2 that they do actually skew in your favor. Xcom had a system where if you failed so many rolls within a frame it would start skewing your rolls behind the scenes. Confirmation Bias is strong though, so people are far more likely to remember those "perfectly safe" shots that fail then they are to remember the ~40-60 rolls that hit.
Hearing a voice actor do a posh British accent but fail miserably to propely pronounce "tithe" was an experience even worse than having to look at his face
I’ve been there Zach. I’ll have a hard time remembering what something is called, have another word that’s wrong repeating in my brain, then like an hour later I’ll say something or hear something and like magic the word I was looking for pops in my head!
By the way, you may find Kiera a little insufferable (she has that effect on people) but her companion quest has a very special gun as a reward, and her companion perk is pretty good too. Most of the companions have pretty good quest and perk rewards.
As soon as Mike said "what if we talk like this and [noise]" I was thinking of Joan Osborn's One of Us, and Zach starts doing it. Also: the Sex Pistols actually do suck and were a bunch of posers!
Did Zachs parents actively try to kill him? They must really have hated him. Either that or just hating children with allergies in general, which I can understand. Snivelling little shits are the worst.

If so, that’s really cool and I had no idea
i mean they are in front of a museum so they would had to be a display piece not actual working cannons

Zach’s love for weapon mechanisms has evolved dramatically into a love for anthropomorphic robots.
Well made machines are Art 😅

I’ve never heard of it either, but if it’s a Jason Statham movie I’ll check it out!

Also Zach: **constantly traveling back in time because he shot them too much**

I see this episode you unlocked the objectively best companion of this mod

1:31 it's actually really cool in real life. They have the shells that would be fired by those guns, in the shape of a turret around them
I love that its just a universal constant that Xcom is a liar and any other game where you miss too much is stealing their odds.

Irl the big cannon is very much a display piece outside the museum(which I recommend visiting if you ever have the chance)
I feel like they should have made a Mr. Handy with an american accent

I love zach's approach of "you're not hostile? Allow me."
Always happy to see a London upload
Hope they keep Mountbatten long enough to do his quest, he's probably my favourite companion in FOLON
12:05 that grenade was a dud it did not go off and the guy that dropped it is an accountant now apparently.
How did you post it a day ago when the video came out

Love me a lock stock & 2 smoking barrels reference
Gun Ideas to Annoy Zach™️: tri revolving barrel shotgun.
Yes the barrel revolves, not the cylinder holding the shells.
So the shotgun from Wolfenstein the New Order?
So... If your age is around 35 liking milf is should be the terms ? Man i always learn something from Zach today
32:31 yeah no that was the ghoul. The blood spatter came from your back, and you don’t have the perk that prevents friendly fire

It has been so long since Zach played this he had a lot reckless discharge pent up within him that needed to be released.
This is quite Nice 👌
I dont think those are cannon but instead recliosis rifles
These are the old guns from either one or two battleships. Can't remember the names. They're mounted outside of the Imperial War Museum irl
@@davestubbs4081 Well Egg on my face
The cannons are from the Royal Navy ships HMS Ramillies and HMS Resolution

23:05 definitely her fault. Saw he was prepping to throw and intentionally got in front of my client.
Hey Zach and Mike, still can´t wait for Zach to yell at game designers and gun designers how guns suck
I'd like to request an update to the mod list google doc... for London.

Zach and Mike should play STALKER 2 or the originals they're even better but older and more janky
