It's painful watching how you handle your books. And if you are just collecting for the value believe me you are degrading the value by not treating them well and not CGC'ing them -- I use to collect raw and loose like that too back in the day and found out CGC is where the money is at if you really mean VALUE!

when you started throwing those books around I was like AHHHH!! and saw all those non bag and boarded books and those bent bags i had a heart attack as a comic book collector thats scary. but now i see that once again you love collecting again and treat them better i may live in peace again.
adamkieszkowski9 LOL! Yes, when I made this video I basically stopped collecting but wanted to show my comic collection. I use the resealable bags now to go along with boards. I keep my most valuable in a 3 ring binder and BCW protective sleeves.

Do you have an updated video of stuff you have added recently ? I would like to see if you worked your way back collecting wise to the 80's and earlier with your collection. Like ...for me I target books in the 1960's to 1980's now and pursue key back issues. (1st appearances , deaths etc etc) .
+Ecwfan I have lots of craigslist and half price books comic book hauls. In fact, I'm making a video of the right 2 boxes you see in this video. It took me a year but I'm back visiting my parents and seeing what gems those 2 boxes hold.
Not sure if anyone told you but you got the first appearances of Bishop and Jubilee. I think you may have a few other first appearances.

Box #3...3 copies of M of S #18, 1st Doomsday! Nice! #25 kind of hot! Supes returns in black suit! Uncanny X-men #282 1st Bishop! Legend of the Dark Knight #50 is a cool cover! Venom: L.P. #4, then that awesome copy of New Mutants #98 at 15:02! Wow man! Infinity Gauntlet #1, 5 and 6!
Box #4... Another copy of B.S. Dracula #1, those hologram covers of a Spidey are cool!, that copy of Venom: Funeral Pyre #1 that you grabbed is cool! Batman #497, Star Wars comics are hot in 2020,2021! Uncanny X-men #244, 1st Jubilee, Green Lantern #48 and 49! Pitt #2, and lastly X-Factor #19, 1st Four Horseman!

If you really value your collection, you would get all your books bagged & boarded. Its not that much for a pack of 50. Or 100 pack seperate. I suggest your really high value books you put in plastic cases. I hope you make an updated video to this collection.

Dude, many people still read comics and to sell these you should really go to a comic book store for these. Especially with the new movies that DC and Marvel that have been announced.

New Mutants 98 is SUPER HOT right now, along with just about anything Deadpool. You also passed up X-Force 2, which is Deadpool's 2nd apperance. It's not super expensive, yet, but still pretty collectable. The Wolverine #50 is pretty hot right now also.

I got just around 6,000 comic books from the 80s and 90s to 2000, and action figures from the 90s to 2000.

That Superman Man Of Steel 18, you have three copies and it's the first appearance of Doomsday. Each one could be worth around $100
You might want to check your values on that one again. You can get NM ones on Ebay for a $1. that was during the 90's when comics where almost killed. They made hundreds of thousands of that issue nothing special.
***** I think you need to check on those values as well. MOS 18 will easily go for $20 in raw NM. A CGC 9.8 can go for $100 or more. Even books from the 90s are heating up nowadays.
***** ***** Yeah he is right Michael. 18 goes for 20 all day, you can sometimes snipe them for 5. 17 routinely goes for 30 or 40 and 19 is 5-10 dollar book as well.

Hey Jay, I'm 14 and starting to collect. At the time of this post, I have about 85-ish comics, so do you have any tips on collecting, Ex. Use long boxes and bag n' board?
VaultBoy12324 I use long boxes for main storage and BCW protective sleeves and binders to show off my most valuables. I strictly use the the Ultra Pro resealable current size comic bags and current size boards for all my storage now. Current comics are pricey so I suggest you start checking out Half Price Books and Craigslist. Make sure you hit up the comic shops for free comic book day too.

Bro I felt like I was looking at my collection, the 90s I was addicted to comics I started when superman died and came back. I probably had every Superman comic in order for the next 2 years. Seems like you had the same taste almost exactly my collection anyway, I have looked up a few of mine I'm sure there has to be some worth money comics from that era? Mine are in beyond mint I read them maybe once and had them with cardboard back and sealed plastic! Did u happen to find out if any were worth anything??
And from what I have read up on some sites say since they made so many copies back then that there not worth much? Ok I can understand that but still having them in mint condition and having some hard to find ones also all the movies out not.. I mean they have to be worth something some of them??

It all depends on what is in demand. Sure, the death of Superman was printed in over a million copies but there will always be buyers worldwide if you sell on eBay

TheCollectors I see it's selling for $300. At what time did you see it? I have to see if it's the first edition.
Around 15:00, it was in the third box.
TheCollectors Yeah, most of the internet is asking for $300 for NM which I think mine is. When I go home next time I need to put it in mylar and bring it with me to Seattle.
TheCollectors I also see I have Uncanny X-Men 244 (first appearance of Jubilee) which is going for $20 NM and Green Lantern $48 (Emerald Twilight #1) which is worth about $12 NM. There are some modern age gems in my collection : )

I've been searching for a comic book but I don't know the name of it or which company it's by. I think it has bricks on the cover and children and it's about some guy who is traumatized by a serial killer who wears a blazer or trench coat and at one point is holding a screwdriver. I also remember some sort of mud like creature in it. Seems like it's impossible to find any information about it. Maybe it's rare.

remember when darkhawk #1 was worth 10 bucks only a few months after it came out. its worth about 50 cents now. 90s comics lol. there are some issues I want. if you have new mutants 98 ill buy it for a good price

Hi there, I noticed you have a few comic book collection videos and was wondering if you might be interested in a Comic book I inherited. It is Jack Kirby's first publish work called the Romance of Money. (1937) If you are interested or know of anyone who is interested please let me know. It's an extremely rare comic and almost never appears on the internet.

TheRicksay Not really, if you wanna start getting into it start with cheaper issues of more minor characters (they don't go for as much). I ended up getting all 18 Power of the Atom books for only 25 bucks and I ended up loving the series. No they aren't worth much but I liked reading them!

Yeah, I was getting tired kneeling down without a tripod. I treat my comics better now as I was rejuvenated in collecting. When I made this video I wasn't interested in collecting again.

Cool collection but you need to store them better the way they re now will ruin them eventually they all need to be bagged and boarded with acid free bags and boards and not stacked on top of each other or leaning the way they are it will damage the spines and the ones in those plane card board boxes will be exposed to higher acid levels

Needless to say I'm back collecting, but mainly for value finds. Make sure to check out all my comic haul episodes for exciting finds and crazy deals!
