- So the premise of this run is that I FC every song from the Guitar Hero III setlist in order. Starting with Slow Ride, ending with Through the Fire and Flames. But the catch is that I get to pick the speed of every song to best optimize the run based off my skillset and experience with each song from the setlist. It's nothing official or a competitive run or anything, but it was a fun idea I had years back and wanted to give it another go. I'm very happy with the results and hope you guys enjoy it as well!

Ooo I didn't know you had the speed run highlighted! Btw absolutely miss watching your streams and others. Been super busy with my usual street performing (it's not going well) and gotten into speed running Super Mario 64 120 star original console. That's been a whole lot of fun thankfully.

this is the best speedrun of all time
Ok. So I added up all the obvious possible timesaves from restarts and tech issues alone, and came up with a rough possible timesave of fucking 41 minutes 40 seconds. With like 5% speedup on any song, a sub 3 hour is just BARELY technically possible. More realistically, about 3 hours 25 minutes is probably doable because there's some obvious slowdowns with tech stuff and some songs that costed 5-8 minutes each.
Notes: 2 minute guitar swap kinda big time loss, but guitar consistency ( *that* *2-2* ) could be really important for future potential time save. Though there definitely is enough time in there where you could standard strum this and still have 90% or more of that time save still there, but realistically a 2-2 would save some serious minutes. Tiers 1-7 were pretty solid with some nice room (25ish minutes) to pick up, but tier 8 is now a choke point, as well as the last 3 songs.

I've been binging your videos ever since, and I just want to say thank you for making such enjoyable stuff. Rekindling this passion has done a good deal in helping me get to a better place mentally, but the biggest thing has been tuning into your streams. They have such a fun vibe. So basically, thanks for making the last few weeks so much more enjoyable for me dude.

both songs are in the key of D minor and have a descending sort of main riff, and at this speed they're about the same tempo.

I used to have a 360 guitar, but the strump is broken, and now is quite difficult to find guitar and connector/dongle that works in the pc without input lag.
