I only found this channel about a week ago and have been binge-listening ever since. I'm truly perplexed how such a great channel doesn't have a few hundred thousand subscribers!! Perfect narration for wonderful stories. ❤
My I recommend "The Next Heir" it feels he put a lot of work into that one I've been here over a year and it's still my favorite and anything by John Metcalf
Algernon is solid. Perhaps we will be treated to the sad tale of Mr DeFago and the Great Cannibal God of the Northwoods at some point? Excellent narration Mr Jasper, as always.
Algernon Blackwood is one of my favorites!!! Loved your telling of this story! If anyone is hankering for more Blackwood, I highly suggest giving Jaspers two part reading of The Doll a listen. It’s another excellent Encrypted production!….in truth all his creations are incredible! Thank you Jasper!🐙💕
Never been one for vampire tales - apart from Dracula - but this was fangtastic. (Insert laughter and applause here). Morton sleepwalking ("but it was not his friend") then later in the graveyard, paled by moonlight, and turning to stare white faced. Yikes. So engaging but......mwahahaha!!!.... would be nothing without our Jasper telling it. Beautifully paced and excellent production ❤
Excellent story, a friend even though the outcome was grim actually got up and did something, I get so frustrated with the term ‘ they were frozen to the spot with fear unable to help’ thank you Mr Blackwood and Monsieur L’Estrange.
Excellent as always, Jasper! Though I don't doubt the potency of the vampiress's charms, I like to think that my lactose intolerance would have prevented me from succumbing to her offer of enchanted milk. 🙂
Thank you Mr.J ❤ It's not often that someone introduces me to a Blackwood story I didn't already know like the back of my hand. Just pure awesomeness, as always. Perfect for Canadian Thanksgiving.
Poor old Morton was a sucker for the mute milk maid. The ominous portent built wonderfully and I certainly felt my “gorge rise” at one point. I loved it.
Happy Halloween Greetings, Jasper! I am looking forward to the treats you have in store. I only hope time does not play tricks on me and keep me from tuning in as often as I would like.
Thank you Mr LeStrange. Eye catching thumbnail; a bit of a giveaway though don't ya think? She looks a lot like Nastasia Kinsky to me. Rather fitting. Thanks for reanimating the work of an an author as dry as dust. ⛑
A bit of a giveaway, yes, although I might have forgotten the ending is meant to be a surprise because I read it in a book called "Dracula's Brood" 😄. This video's already doing better than "The Magic Shop" though so maybe this is the way for thumbnails now 😁
Here's another story then. Hope you like it 😊.
Good thanks, but where did the girl get the milk?
You'll have to ask Algernon that...👀
@@EnCryptedHorror Isn't he deceased?
Yes 😔
Another fine tale from "The old gent". I am sure we will love it! Thanks!

@@LucicPowerI actually think The Next Heir is the best narration Mr Jasper has ever done .

No, I'm not mad keen on vampires either. Like zombies now, it's all been a bit done to death.
The sound effects and occasional touch of music really added to the narration! Kudos!
Thank you so much 👍
Once again, Jasper delivers! So entertaining. Thank you❤
You're very welcome 👍
Yeah...this is awesome!
Again, we are amazed by the talent of Algernon and Jasper.
Thanks for narrating this fine tale.

Ooh, beautifully written and beautifully read. Thank you 🙂🖤♥️
Excellent! I always look forward to and enjoy your posts.

Oh, yes! That's the stuff! Love the picture too. If she wanted to bite me, I just might let her.
This was excellent, Jasper! Beautifully narrated, as always. Really setting the mood for Halloween 💀💀👻👻
Thank you Jasper, never heard of this tale before, but was an excellent tale for Halloween season, and read by an excellent narrator!❤
I think I need to contemplate the thumbnail for a while.
