Thanks for taking the time to review all these products. Any chance you can get your hands on the Roborock Q8 Max+ ???
I believe that was just sent to us! Lol I gotta double check but it will be a few weeks until you'd see the video up on the channel. Stay tuned friend! Thanks for watching and let me know what questions you have!
like the review. But, i would have loved to know about how it behaves if there are door saddles/thresholds that are between rooms. can it easily traverse through it? or does it get stuck at the sills/thresholds? if so, what is the maximum height that it can traverse without getting stuck?. If you could include these infos that would be great :) P.S. if you do know this spec, i would love to know it, as i am considering to buy it.
Thank you for this feedback. We will work on seeing how to incorporate thresholds into our testing. We don't have any large ones so it's hard to test for us!
Does the Q5 Pro have any mop setting in the app or do you just place it on and have it vacuum?
No mop settings in the app (I was shocked) so it just is gravity fed when you place it on the vacuum!
Any comments on the mopping capability? Is this better or worse than the Q7Max and S7?
Great question... no sonic mopping on the Q5+ Pro so I would put it a rung or two below the Q7/S7!
Better than S series
Great review. Thanks. Did the wet mop get the carpets wet? Thinking more towards the revo for this reason
No wet carpets but if that is the biggest concern you should check out the Dreame L20 Ultra... not sure your max budget but it is smart enough to leave the mop pads at home for carpet cleaning!
Great ❤
Thank you! Be sure to subscribe! -MB
Does it recognise the carpet and change suction power?
I think all Roborocks do, my older unit does. So I don't see why this one won't.
Which do you think is the better all-around robot vacuum (not considering the mop function just the vacuum), the Roborock Q5 Pro+ or the Dreametech D10S Plus?
Man this is a tough question to answer. I would say let price dictate your purchase and right now they both appear to be the same price. I'd probably go Dreame since I believe in app you can control mop water flow (if I'm remembering correctly I'd need to rewatch my video to confirm lol)
@@DigitalDavid Thanks for the reply! I ended up going with the DreameTech D10S Plus. I’m really impressed with its vacuuming performance. My messy long haired cat has met his match. The AI avoidance has been impressive as well especially at this price point. The unit does have mop flow control in the app.
is it good at vacuuming as q5? dont care about the mop, that part can be left unused?
Yes it is!
So I bought one of these a few weeks ago. Its great, no complaints.
My only question is: How tf do i empty the bag thats inside the auto dust bin?
I have 2 weeks of dog hair in one, and the only way to empty it looks to be the little hole that dust gets sucked in through
Am i goofy? Am I missing a zipper or something?
unfortunately you are intended to throw them away and keep buying them
Hey David, what’s your opinion on this unit vs the Q7 Max+ ?
I haven't reviewed the Q7 Max+ yet. I'll have to do that! -MB
Are you supposed to only attach the mopping module at the time you want the device to mop? Or it's safe to have the mopping module attached at all times?
All the time is fine! Really just up to you and how you want to use it!
What about cat fur on low carpet? Does it clean well?
Yes! I believe you will be impressed!
Do you prefer this model over the Dreame D10s pro? I like all the features of the Roborock but the camera of the Dreame is a plus!
I prefer the Dreame but both are great! If you don't work at home you'd enjoy the camera to monitor your house while away!
@@DigitalDavid Thanks for the answer, I'm going to think about it a little more, the doubt is only about the camera because the Roborock beats it in practically everything.
I don't know why I think Roborock is one step higher in quality than Dreame. In this case, Roborock Q5pro+ with 5500Pa, dual roller, some more sensors (side sensor), automatic emptying and the Roborock app which is excellent. VS Dreame D10S 5000Pa, simple roller, no automatic emptying, but with camera and AI sensor.
Roborock 15 Pro+ 309eu vs Dreame D10S pro 200eu.
The Q5 pro vs Q8 max. Which one would you prefer
Q5 for more people to get a good enough clean/experience and save a few hundred $$$
How does this do with short pet hair on hard floors?
Great! It will get them all!
Hi is mopping vibrating type or what?
Is it mandatory to mopp? Can I go without it
I don't think it vibrates.. I think it just kind of scoots across the floor. And it is detachable

To be honest, after using several robots with AI object detection, I m ok with robots that come with minimal AI. Often ends up in a more consistent cleaning experience with fewer errors.
Also, I lile the big vacuum dust tank of over 700ml. I don't care much about robot mopping, so I m glad there are robots which are aimed at customers like me.
Thanks for sharing all this! It's great to learn about every customer's perspective and get a feel for other users'experiences. Especially when they are different from my own preferences. What vacuum do you currently use?
