One added point if you can find a closed cell mat with a foil finish on one side that will give better heat reflecting performance than just the foam ...heat loss is by draughts conduction, and radiation.👍🏼
I absolutely love this video and you! I started smiling as soon as you started talking! Such wonderful energy. Thank you! I have been so down and dreading insulating and painting my boat, I have have no idea how to start. I'm completely new to living on a boat, and boating in general. Can I use cork insulation instead? Thank you!
Hey Taurva. I'm glad you liked it, its comments like yours that puts a smile on my face too. About using cork as a insulating material, I would think that cork may rot since there is not much ventilation in there but I dont know much about using cork on boats other than on decks. Cheers
Hi Arex, it worked good actually but of course, you are still on aboat and it was just 10mm. I have bought a dehumidifier that was running all thru winter and the boat is dry, no more damp clothes👍⛵😁
Cool idea, I never thought about a mat material before. I hope that helps you out. You can always add more if you need to 🤔. What do you feed the rabbit? Lol. Cool hat 😎
Yeh i think it will work.. About the rabbit, i dont feed it at all. You see it a special rabbit and the other side of the hat opens up to a realm in a other dimension where nothing but rabbit lives and the whole forest is full of green grass and other rabbit goodies .. That is how most magicians get their rabbits by the way...
Better off going with sunshade aluminized bubble material. Better insulation and cheaper. That is if you do not just go straight spray foam. Easier to install as well

Currently having my first winter living on the boat and all my stuff is freezing 😅 thank you for this!
I hope it helps, of course you still need a good dehumidifier onboard to remove all that condensation living onboard produces… Good luck!🤞
The look your dog is giving you is cracking me up 😂
She works hard on that look.. Its the "blue steel" of K9s... ;-)
Very good instructions, thank you
Amazing boat. I live in Stavanger and there are a lot of condensation inside...
great idea, thanks
