For the people who can't wait till the video finishes and are in pain..... 1: painkillers 2: eat something cold and use ice pack 3: use dental wax 4: eat soft food ( even if there's no pain) ( for the first few days) 5: keep gap between ur upper jaw and lower jaw ( don't keep them tightly closed) 6: talk a bit less 7: don't bite ice/ pen/Ur nails That's all peeps no need to thank me Best of luck and take care ❤️❤️

Michael Myers take a painkiller and hour before you get them on and eat ice cream on the first day it only hurts on the first day on its own it hurts a decent amount but not enough pain to make you cry, after the first day they won’t hurt unless you chew so I’d say eat ice cream mostly for a week

i have spacers right now, next week (as in, 2 days from now) I'm getting an expanding plate on my top jaw, then in a few months im getting braces. Spacers hurt! I'm scared for the pain of braces 💀 Edit: Just got the expanding plate, it doesn't really hurt at all and I've had it for a day. Edit 2: Couple of weeks from now. I can assure everyone putting something cold on ur cheeks really does help might take a minute or so to start fully helping but it does I do it for my braces when tightened and also when I get elastic on my braces to really does help

Michael Myers take a painkiller and hour before you get them on and eat ice cream on the first day it only hurts on the first day on its own it hurts a decent amount but not enough pain to make you cry, after the first day they won’t hurt unless you chew so I’d say eat ice cream mostly for a week

Edit: Just got the expanding plate, it doesn't really hurt at all and I've had it for a day.
Edit 2: Couple of weeks from now. Whenever I turn the key some of my teeth ache but it doesn't really do much.

If anyone is betting braces today or the next day, don't be nervous, getting braces is kinda life changing but when you get them off it's so so so worth it, I got my braces two days ago and my mouth is dying rn, eat soft foods, use your wax, drink a lot of water, use chapstick, take pain killers and take care of your teeth. 💜
