Adored this format and missed your journaling videos! I think its great to showcase that bullet journaling doesn't always mean planning. It's about fulfilling a purpose for our lives, I have a bullet journal too for therapy (both for personal writing and notes I take from therapy). So this was very refreshing
I love traditional planners. So I have a planner. My journal I call it Life Journaling. And it’s just one journal I doodle, write quotes, write prompts, memories, literally anything you want.
I love journaling and using all kinds of papers and stickers to decorate. It’s such a nice process to create a pretty (or ugly!) page 🥺 and yes for more journal content! Especially this chatty version was sooo much fun ❤
i've been journaling like this since 2019! i use it as a daily journal for pretty much everything, and i'm on my 13th notebook. i hope you grow to love your new journal as much as i love all of mine
This new format is very interesting. I like it. The bullet journal is so beautiful and you are always an inspiration. Makes me wanna draw in my bullet imediatly 😍
Thank you for this video, and the corresponding PDF. I have journaled on and off for 50 years and so found my journals just kinda focused on what I did yesterday and have wanted to branch out to be more ME. I tried your bullet journal for 2 years and enjoyed that, but being retired it didn’t seem pertinent anymore. This concept is it now. Thank you, thank you.
Omg I’m also an ENFJ! With the astrology reading your whole chart can explain a lot of things and why you may not connect with certain aspects of Aquarius. I think you may have some water in your chart since you’re so intuitive and gentle and relaxing to experience. Getting a real astrology reading would be so cool for you in my opinion.
So I decided to stop or at minimum slow down with bullet journaling too so that I could focus more on virtual planning. I've missed just being crafty and artsy so I'm 100% going to try out this idea! Love your videos btw! 🥰
Yes to any and all journaling! I’m also loving the music you’ve been sharing at the end of each video! I look the songs up and save them to playlists! Now I’m going to try listening to the Epidemic playlists! Do you have a favorite?
Keep the journaling content coming! I think you should name your journal Ferdinand, after the famous EXPLORER Magellan... the first to come full circle around the globe! 🌎
🤯😱 WE HAVE THE SAME BIRTHDAY!! 🎂🥳 Also, I chose 'Explore' as my word of the year! What an interesting coincidence. I never knew that, despite watching for years. I'm turning 36 this time, and I really resonate with your videos, like a lot of the same things as you, and have struggled with some of the same things as you over the years. For me, explore includes my inner self, other imagined worlds (books), as well as the world - local and traveling.
I really enjoyed this video, I think the spreads turned out really well! I'd be happy to see if you care to do any art journalling, I think that could be a fun video. Also: my favourite vegetable soup is sweet potato, parsnip or carrot, and broccoli - but leave them in cut pieces rather than pureeing the soup. Add some grated cheese and voila!
This video came just at the right time - last week I was flown to hospital for an emergency surgery, then we went on a little roadtrip two days later. I'm wanting to be around and do things that make me feel at home, and this is exactly what this video is to me - home 😌
I really like the vlogs but I miss a lot the Bullet Journal videos, so I alove this journal setup. You has inspired me to add some cute things to my own journal. Thanks :D
How creative you are Caitlin I would love to see some journaling tips on self appreciation and how you handle stress! I love this journal layout it’s a great way to document your days and the things you enjoy and love about your life! Cannot wait to see more! Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!!! 📔✍🏻
Explore is one of my favorite words. Good choice! My words for 2021 were focus and explore. I was tired of Covid world and was about to get diagnosed with ADHD. 😂 I ended up getting a divorce, significantly improving my life, and started a new relationship that had me flying 900 miles every month. Traveling to another state to visit my family is actually how I met him in the first place, so it worked out well! lol. He lives with me now and we’re engaged. I didn’t have a word for last year because i was just trying to get my life back together after my divorce was finalized haha. (much better things happening for me now, no negative feelings about the divorce ☺️)
I love that you are using a journal to just do with and keep track of things that are important to you. I have had a separate collections journal for a few years and I use it for my yearly reflection and goal setting, financial goals, level 10 life, book notes, recipes etc.etc. If you are looking for another personality test I would highly recommend the enneagram. I am a little obsessed with it because there is so much depth and nuance to it and it really shows you common pitfalls and challenges for your type, but also how to grow as a person. It focuses on your motivations instead of just behaviour. Also recently got more interested in Internal Family Systems. I have been doing it in therapy for over a year, but didn’t really know much about the theory behind it. Glennon Doyle just had Dr Becky on We Can Do Hard Things to talk about it and it was a really interesting and insightful episode. Worth checking out! I love seeing your videos and your book/personal growth/finance content.
Your journaling prompts idea might have saved my physical journal from disappearing to the background. I started this year to explore digital planning, because I didn't know where to put all my filled physical journals anymore😅. But because of that my physical journal didn't seem to have a place anymore. So I'm going to experiment along with you😃 loved this chatty and more laid back version of you journaling❤.
I’m an Aquarius too and I agree that we often get the short end of the stick. I think we are quite extraordinary! Loved this video - you make it look so easy!
i love this style of video !! i’m trying to get back into more creative/relaxed journaling this year and this def gave me some inspo ! excited to see what you have planned for the year, thanks for sharing this special time with us 💓
as a virgo, that highlighter mistake would've drove me mad! i always tear out pages when I make a mistake like that, so it's refreshing to see someone not make it a big deal :)
I really enjoyed this format .... always have loved watching you create your pages.... I think it would be fun if you were to do one of these videos each month... (or at least include parts of it in another video).... Would love to see more of your creations ;-)
It’s so funny because I’m turning 26 in march and this year I decide to have a Bujo only for writting my thoughts and beeing creative ! And in my vision board the main topic is Explore. I really enjoy this kind of video 🥰
Yes!! Love this 😍 I’m thinking of keeping the monthly layouts from bullet journaling but use then more for documenting what I did that month. Excited for future spreads! 💜🎉✨
Thank you for documenting this! I could never keep with bullet journaling and always aspired to create something similar to this, but did not have a guide or jumping off point to help me. Really appreciate it! ❤
I was journaling while watching this video and I love the experience! Your pages look so cute and they inspire me to look for things to paste into my journal as well. Look forward to more videos like this in the future. And super curious to learn about your new journal's name! :)
I'm turning 27 this year and feeling all kinds of different emotions about nearing my 30s. I'm trying so hard to stay positive about it and I love the idea of writing a letter to my 30 year old self! Whether or not we believe in the pressures placed on our 30s, especially as women, they're still there. I'm trying to stay focused on being excited for that time of my life and not panicked that I have to get certain achievements checked off.
Loved this! If you are interested in MBTI you should definitely read Gifts Differing by Isabel Briggs Myers! Typology is such an interesting topic and it helps understanding oneself in so many ways.100% recommend. Xx
Loved this format.. but would have you explained why you where in your kitchen? And not your office.. it felt a bit off to me. I hope to do some 'reflective' writing about my days to actually remember what I have done or achieved (I have a memory disorder).
Any thoughts on changing the musical background? the musac you choose is so grating that i stopped watching your videos since you have been using it. i used to be a regular viewer in your uni days. Maybe alternate with some other musac once in while so i can keep up with you on youtube. i can not be the only one that is irritated by the musac used by 40year old playboy plying teenage girls with booze in the 1970s to nefarious ends obviously. 🤪😉
LOVE this format! So fun to see both camera angles and hear your thought process. And the "mistakes" just made it all the more relatable.
This is so similiar to my journalling style! Love your videos !
Watching you accept the imperfections makes me feel better about the imperfections in my own journal.
Adored this format and missed your journaling videos! I think its great to showcase that bullet journaling doesn't always mean planning. "one thing about me is if i can paste something into my journal i will
This new format is very interesting. I like it. The bullet journal is so beautiful and you are always an inspiration. Makes me wanna draw in my bullet imediatly 😍
Thanks for comment of the week! I don't normally leave comments, so it's nice to feel seen

I’m an INFJ and an Aries❤️ love your videos so much!! I look forward to them all week! My love language is gift giving, and I’m type 1W2!
I love this format. I keep what I call creative journal and it includes what you journal also. I love the idea of memory keeping.
So I decided to stop or at minimum slow down with bullet journaling too so that I could focus more on virtual planning. I've missed just being crafty and artsy so I'm 100% going to try out this idea! Love your videos btw! 🥰
i love that these videos are back 💕 they always inspire me su much and your “journaling style” is 🤌🏼🤌🏼
Yes to any and all journaling! I’m also loving the music you’ve been sharing at the end of each video! I look the songs up and save them to playlists! Now I’m going to try listening to the Epidemic playlists! Do you have a favorite?
i LOVE random spreads like this. it brings me so many ideas and inspiration for my own! i also love the process from beginning to end!
I also keep a journal like this apart from my reading and bullet journals, I call it life journal! it's fun to keep up 🥰
I switched to a preprinted planner from my bullet journal this year and this is exactly what I was missing! Thank you
Keep the journaling content coming! I think you should name your journal Ferdinand, after the famous EXPLORER Magellan... the first to come full circle around the globe! 🌎
loved this! it might be a fun idea to make another video at the end of the year reflecting on how this format worked for you ☺️

I love that quote. Isaac Asimov is my favorite author. The quote was beautifully written. I am also aquarius. My birthday is Feb 14.
I have missed your journal videos! I love this idea. I am trying to get into art journaling myself.
Oh yes I would love to watch you make these in the future!
Thank you for this video it’s motivating seeing this format
Omg this was so good the obsessions page and word of the year 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I really like the vlogs but I miss a lot the Bullet Journal videos, so I alove this journal setup. You has inspired me to add some cute things to my own journal. Thanks :D

Lol must have zoned out when you added the Ennegram type to your cheat sheet… I do love it though
Love this! Thanks for sharing, I’d love to see more!
Love this kind of video from you…. please throw them in the mix now and again x

i love this idea! i currently have a blank notebook that i’ve been too scared to use but i might have to give this type of format a try!
Ooh, I gasped out loud when that pink pen smeared your writing! 😱
Love all your journal spreads! Please share what you're up to with it. 😊😊
I’m an Aquarius too and I agree that we often get the short end of the stick. I think we are quite extraordinary! Loved this video - you make it look so easy!
You are off to a great start! Well done. Can you share what you use for the personality tests?
Caitlin it was so fun to see you behind the journal again! Loved your “cheat sheet” spread and inspired me to get my scrapbook out. Love ya!!
Hi! Cute spread! Can you make a video dedicated to various personality tests (with links in the description so that we can try them as well)?
I LOVE this so much!! The format and creativity held in these pages are beautiful. Also, the way you edited this video was fantastic.
I just did the Enneagram and found out that I’m a 8 the challenger. That’s was really cool - thanks for this!!
i love this style of video !! i’m trying to get back into more creative/relaxed journaling this year and this def gave me some inspo ! excited to see what you have planned for the year, thanks for sharing this special time with us 💓
I think the "Caitlins Cheet Sheet" is such a fun idea, will definitely be recreating that! Might make the addition of Hogwarts house :)
as a virgo, that highlighter mistake would've drove me mad! i always tear out pages when I make a mistake like that, so it's refreshing to see someone not make it a big deal :)
I really enjoyed this format .... always have loved watching you create your pages.... I think it would be fun if you were to do one of these videos each month... (or at least include parts of it in another video).... Would love to see more of your creations ;-)

Also, I’m LOVING this video!

Thank you for documenting this! I could never keep with bullet journaling and always aspired to create something similar to this, but did not have a guide or jumping off point to help me. Really appreciate it! ❤
Really love this video set up! 😊
I was journaling while watching this video and I love the experience! Your pages look so cute and they inspire me to look for things to paste into my journal as well. Look forward to more videos like this in the future. And super curious to learn about your new journal's name! :)
I bought the scrub mommy at indigo today because I remember you talking about it 😊
Like the idea for a new journey support you
Omg the smudged marker over your quote triggered me LOL
I love this vidéo ! !
Did you ever get one of those milk frothers? If so which brand?

i am a proud aquarius xx :)
Well, hello there, fellow ENFJ!!! o/\o
Love this more free-flowing journal style!
Human design is another way that you can learn about yourself. There are many many levels to it.
Loved this! If you are interested in MBTI you should definitely read Gifts Differing by Isabel Briggs Myers! Typology is such an interesting topic and it helps understanding oneself in so many ways.100% recommend. Xx
Ps: the way I guessed you were an ENFJ!! 🥰
Loved this format.. but would have you explained why you where in your kitchen? And not your office.. it felt a bit off to me. I hope to do some 'reflective' writing about my days to actually remember what I have done or achieved (I have a memory disorder).
Do you have financial goals this 2023 and what spreads do you do for those?!
Gemini is the least "liked" zodiac and its also one of the most compatible with Aquarius lol
(I'm an Aquarius too💕)
