The bit where wilbur said that he practiced 10 hours or day or whatever the number was, that part gave me goosebumps and made me motivated to go pick up my dusty guitar which hadn't been used in like 5 months. Also the tip about ultimate guitar was really good i think i've learned like 10 songs this month from that website, really useful.
Never been this early... Also Wilbur inspired me to really pick my guitar up and learn more. Riffs, Bar chords, Picking patterns, the works. It's been difficult but I learned jubilee line by Wilbur and, I'd say it's been working out quite well :D

The fact that Wilbur isn't someone who has been playing music since he was a kid, yet is really good, is honestly super inspiring for me, since I sometimes worry about how good I can possibly be at any instrument when I didn't master any of them as a kid.

I’ve just come here to say, Wilbur’s right! Learning guitar isn’t as scary as it sounds, to me it’s actually addictive. I just started a month an a half ago, and Wilbur was a huge inspiration to me getting started. At first it was kinda intimidating, but once you start learning songs, you can get lost in it for hours. But just a tip: don’t rush, go at your own pace, quality over quantity :D

Damn, I thought Wil had been playing for so much longer. His music is literally amazing and it's so inspiring to know that he taught the guitar to himself. I guess it's true that practice pays off.

Wow. Just wanted to say that my dad has been playing guitar for like 20 years now, and ofc when i was born my dad tried to teach me guitar, so i literally had my own guitar since i was like 5, but i never really played it or was interested in playing it. i mean i kinda know the basics and how it all works but through all these years i never really learned it. rn im far away from my dad, but i have never in my entire life wanted to learn guitar that much, so i guess this would be the first thing im gonna do when i see him. thank you:)

When I tell you this man is so inspirational because anyone could just pick up a guitar and learn and Wilbur now has shows being sold out and going on tour it’s insane
