This car made sense in 2012 as a hybrid but they couldn't making it a fully EV in 9 years? Beautiful car tho. I would like to find an original one and convert it to full EV or full Gas V8
Full EV variant, the GS-e6, is being made available soon. Was supposed to be by the end of 2021, but obviously it is not here so hopefully it is soon. I won't need a new car for awhile...but when I upgrade, I intend on getting an awesome 4-door car. This car would do it, but I don't like having to charge AND get gas for it, as well as I also don't like that the motor acts as a generator instead of driving the wheels. Seems like an awkward driving experience. Once the full EV comes out, which will also have an even lower base price than the current GS-6, it'll be much more enticing for me to potentially want to get it when the time comes over a Tesla.
How was the generator sound? that seemed to be an issue with the original. I figure the pure electric will fare better. And I'd definitely recommend giving it substantial performance. If possible, contest taycan and Model S. Just the image of being among the fastest I think carries enormously. It looks fairly well made. The lower price probably helps too. Is it entirely chinese made now?
Wow unexpectedly back from certain death! The Karma has always been am arbiter of beautiful design for me and I think it looks FAR better than the model S. I hope this one hits it off better than previous versions!
Reminds me (kinda sorta) of my 82 Camaro Z28 ... loved the look of the car but it couldn't stay on the road when a bird spit on the highway... Had to keep bags of sand it the trunk and that only helped so much... Still fond memories... :)
To me it’s main value is curiosity. It’s not really a car that is ready for the future as it is kind of obsolete though I have to admit it has some gorgeous lines.
the name "Karma" just doesn't do it for me.. the car looks great though, the fact that it's a phev doesn't matter that much to me but i do prefer the GSe-6 full ev version
So the drivetrain is basically the same as a second generation version of the late lamented Chevrolet Volt. (53 mile EPA, 70 mile realistic around town)

Please confirm that the media console disaster from the 2012 model has been completely replaced here.

Look forward to seeing someone ls swap it.
Does it burst into flames when it gets wet like the original?

Has ANYTHING changed since its introduction? Yawn
Apparently not much. Pathetic.
You talked a lot about the back seat but never showed it.
