It's awesome to see so much life coming from your land. You really are doing an amazing job. I wish I had the peaceful place that you have buddy. I'm looking forward to the next update ✌🏻
@@FrugalOffGrid hey my brotha , i just subb'd to both your channel and emai list as well there , great stuff indeed , i only have email here and i am a u.s. military/marine vet 93' to 97' active ! and i def. wanna talk more , love talking stuff , thanks n talk soon > tom !
I didn’t read all of the comments, but you should try Picture This or one of the other plant identifiers. They are pretty accurate at telling you what’s growing!
Thanks for the tour of your hard work. Signs of life are so hopeful to see and in so many different places too. The animal component is always fun, if fleeting. Lingering on the cats, dogs if only for a second or two, like you did for the horse at the end, would really round the tour out. It may be a bit mundane to you but seeing contented domestic animals on a farmyard. is quite a treat
Looking good brother it’s amazing how much you’re able to grow!! The gardens are beautiful and it looks like Sage is becoming more trusty towards you. Almost went bare back for a moment 😉👍🏼✌🏼
Looking lovely & green! Great results from all that hard work! Have you heard of Spekboom or Portulacaria afra? It originates in desert areas of South Africa but is available in Phoenix or so I've read. It can be eaten by both human and beast, it's full of goodness (minerals and vitamins), has medicinal properties and survives on an extremely insane small amount of water per year. It's a fire retardant and I think that it somehow helps collect moisture underground for other plants. Might be worth reading up on it! Happy 4th ofJuly!
Is there any way you could get a ton of woodchips for your gardens? Back to Eden gardening has blessed my life tremendously by transforming our soil here in hot n rocky northern california. Love the quick hop on at the end! God bless you brother.
you should try growing oil crops like sesame seeds or peanuts they grow easily in poor soil and produce satisfactory result. Crops such as -flax seeds -Sesame -Pearl millet for poultry. Easy to grow with minimum water.
Would it be possible for you to share like a day in the life? I’m setting up a homestead myself in I think the same general area. I’m wondering if you are still having to water ever or if the rain lately and the swales are holding enough water on their own to sustain the plants?
Absolutely amazing, when one thinks, how much work you have done by yourself .. Excellent👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Would you do a video about how to stay cool in the desert heat? I'll look through what you have to find anything. Thank you

Planted any olives? They are extremely drought tolerant and thrive in poor soils.
So when are you going horseback riding?
I just did at the end of the video 🤠 That's the first time I hopped on his back. He bucked me off when I wasn't recording.
