I’m about 1 month post op today with SADI as well, and I’m struggling figuring out what foods I can eat. I’m eating scrambled eggs, refried beans, Greek yogurt, protein shakes and soups. I have no clue what else to eat. The restriction is super strong.
There’s just not a lot of options at that stage! Wish I had some good ideas. Hang in there! It feels long now, but it will get better so soon! You will have more food options and you won’t be quite as restricted. Try and focus on other things and ride it out.
Glad you like them! I’ve been adding the collagen to unsweetened iced herbal tea (peach and hibiscus). I know a lot of people also like adding it to coffee.
I was switch 12/30/2020 I was 333 and I am now 263 and feeling great but an increase case of Bowel movements and irritated anus due to frequent bowel movements
I’m in the middle of researching the different procedures. I’m leaning towards DS (switch). This first time I’ve heard of Sadi. How does it different from DS? I’d like to follow you on Instagram. How do I find you?
I’m probably not the best one to explain it, but in short, the SADI-S is a modified version of the DS. The DS had a shorter small intestine common channel and will typically lead to more weight loss but also more complications like frequent bowel movements and more malabsorption. Which can lead to other complications. You would need to decide with your dr which is a better fit for you. I opened for the less aggressive version per my drs advice given my situation. I’m great! So good that I haven’t really been thinking about surgery or this channel. I did film a video at the beginning of June but I haven’t gotten around to posting it. Hopefully I do thst soon.
I had the sleeve done on 3/1/2021 and I definitely still get hungry. I'm currently on the soft foods stage. I'm also not focusing on my weight. I don't weigh myself, I just wait until I go to my appointments.
The vitamins are called Tespo. I take the Bariatric ones. And I also take additional iron and calcium chews. The collagen I like is the vital protein collagen peptides.
Hi! Hope you are doing great! How much total weight did you lose overall, have you maintained it and what’s your current weight? I’m considering having this procedure in 1 month. TIA!!!
Thank you for sharing. I am getting ready to have surgery but I thought I wanted the standard Gastric Sleeve, but my Doctor recommended the Modified Duodenal switch because my BMI is 50. The possible side effects really scare me. Especially the part of having accidents and horrendous smelling gas. How did you deal with them if any?
@@stevebrown8537 I can’t promise your experience will be the same, but my dr said part of the reason he prefers the modified is because it does haven’t as many harsh side effects like vitamin deficiencies and bowel problems. Hopefully that ends up being the case for you too!
Thanks for this video, this is one of the few explanation videos. I just think it’s a scary thing that they will remove a huge amount of the large intestine. I have diabetic and obese and weight about 115 kilo. I will get the sadi sleeve operation in 2 months. What did you thing about the operation now that you are 3 months later. Do you personally think it was a good thing( Sorry my English is not that good, I’m for another country)
Hello, thank you so much for sharing . My surgeon mentioned to me SADI and I wanted to hear from someone that had gone thru the surgery. To be honest I am so nervous about and feel confused about choosing RNY or SADI.
I choose a SADI because there’s a smaller chance of hernias and ulcers and it helps you lose the most weight. I’ve also heard that RNY is better for people who have bad heartburn, which I don’t. That’s how I understand it anyways! It’s hard though because there’s a lot less info out there about the SADI! Look up SmilinShrinking. She has a lot of videos about her SADI. I also like dwindling DS diva. Good luck with everything! I hope you and your dr can find the right surgery for you. ❤️❤️
Nice I did my research about wls, gastric sleeve and gastric bypass for many years now 😊
just got my sadi-s surgery yesterday! thank you sososo much for your vids. they gave me an accurate picture of what its like

Your skin looks so healthy! Thanks for the tips.
Congratulations, I'm happy for you. Keep up the good work!
I just had my surgery yesterday
Hi, are you still having to take vitamins? If so will that be a life long need?
Yes and yes
Enjoying your videos! What types of liquid do you put the collagen in? I had the SADI on 3/15.

i'm having revision from VSG to Rny due to the server GERD i've been having .
I’m so sorry. Glad you are getting it fixed. I’ve heard that RNY immediately eliminates all GERD. Hopefully you will get some relief!
Haven’t seen u post in 8 months. Are u ok? How are u doing?

I haven’t had any crazy bowel problems. No crazy gas or accidents! I think that’s more common is the full DS.
