Wow! God: what a beauty! This part of Sweden is so pristine and magical that one can perfectly imagine Adam and Eve strolling around peacefully and in absolute solitude here! I wish I had a little log house by the cliffs and the stormy river so I can enjoy this dreamy world every day during all seasons. But I know that it has to be left alone to preserve it and for everybody to enjoy as well. Sweden is really beautiful and i wish that some day I will visit this hidden gem! Thanks for sharing!
Good morning. I have made this crossing three times in winter. In autumn I did Saltoluokta Kvikkjokk. What date do you have in September in Abisko? Thank you.
What a stunning video ❤️ When did you arrive in Abisko? I arrived there on the 23.09 this year, so i just want to know the time when you shot those amazing pictures
Your photo and video is outstanding!!! What lens did you used? We are thinking about to do same section but reverse :) I am thinking to take 2 lenses Canon 24-105 F4 L and Canon 16-35 F4 L is it will be enough?
Thanks! It depends what you want to photograph, but for landscape those lenses you wrote are great choices. I had Tamron 24-70/2.8 G2 and Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR II
Great video! Men, i gonna go there in beginning of may this year. But i don't know can i go there on my diesel volvo xc90 or not because diesel cars is prohibited somewhere as i know. And can i use my drone there to shoot some videos or not? Can i climb on the mountains without specialist? Could u recommend me some website maybe when i can get all information i need? Thanks!
I don't think there are any restrictions for diesel cars in northern Sweden. For the drones I think it depends if it's inside national park (where it's generally prohibited) or outside the park. Information about this should be on the website of Swedish National parks www.nationalparksofsweden.se/choose-park---list/
I am completely blown away by this beautiful video! Absolute stunning. I have planned to do this hike first half of september 2020. Hope to see these images live 👍. Thanks for sharing.
Yes and it was beautiful!. I was a bit earlier (ended 11-sept in Abisko) and had less snow than in the vid and unfort no northern light. Also no mosquitos in this time of year
Hi Stepan, a very impressive video, very warm congratulations. As an (amateur) landscape photographer, I'm thinking about doing this trip too. The only thing that makes me hesitate a little at the moment is the fact that there are a lot of people out and about. What is your assessment of this? My goal is to enjoy this wonderful nature mostly alone and in peace. And, as a realistic assesment, the Sarek NP. is a number to great for me. . . . Thanks for your support Klaus from Styria / Austria
Hi Klaus, I think one of the best times to go there for landscape photography is in the first half or in the middle of September (same time as I was there). That time of the year there is less people than in summer and you get to see all the beautiful autumn colours. You should, however, keep in mind that the weather can be colder in that time of the year and also most of the huts along the way are usually closing before the last week in September.
Scandinavian Lapland is absolute heaven on earth. Magical video
This footage is amazing so much soo im going next year 2nd week September. Subbed
fantastiskt ! magisk ! Tack så mycket !

I was there around the same time. Started in Nikkaluokta 10.9. and left Abisko 23.9. (where I stayed for three nights)
Hi stepan, when did you start your hike?
Very nice video!
Beautiful video! What camera did you use?
Thank you! I've used a combination of Nikon D850 and iPhone 8
How was the temperature? I am heading out there to same region next month :) Great video and stunning photos.
Depends on the day, but I think most of the time it was between 5-12 degrees during the day. Some nights were cold tho, with temperatures below zero.
