Really cool to see something different than the kali yuga stuff ! I play a version almost like yours except I play the blackwings traps, less consistent but so satisfaying to resolve !
if you use sudris other effect to tribute off simoon and summon the level 2 tuner token, you can save the black feather whirlwind for later to bring back boreastorm and make 3 level 10 synchros plus hot red and the quick synchro trap. it does synchro lock you, but you either get 3 assault dragons or 2 and full armor, and you don't have the loose nothong on the board.
also chidori over raikiri? idk ya chicory gets big and can help out towers, but the only real one in the format is pep, and you're never going to beat over a pep.
Nice work, dude! Keep the wings soaring! Side note, FAM already has to be face up when monster effects activate, even though it only places counters after resolution.
you only need the rank up to go into kali yuga, raiders wing is optional but leads to a stronger end board. No need for any other phantom knight cards unless you're wanting the extra negates from fog blade. Kali yuga gives a big power boost since it just shuts off your opponents turn, and gives you a walking feather duster. And also Raikiri is better than Chidori, especially in a pure blackwing because you can get so many pops.
@@maxterwel how often is that happening tho? when you can't just pop it, steal it, kaiju it, nothung to lower its attack. I used to think the same about chidori specifically because of his revival effect as well but after playing chidori just never provided enough.
I love Kali Yuga a lot! I use it in Raidraptors as well, however I wanted to experience something new in the deck. Although Kali Yuga is a surefire way to (usually) win games I don't really want to rely on it again haha
@@ho8ojoe8 Pretty often, Most current decks have monsters unaffected by card effects or use spells that make them so. Kaijuing them is one option, draco works if they have a lower atk effect monster, but that's all about it.
if onyl we could have more than 15 cards in the extra deck. let's say 20 for starters. the versatility of decks that can utilise heavily extra deck based archetypes as support would go up a lot. Let's say blackwings in this example. They could make use of wise-strix/raidraptor cards, and crapton of generic synchros, since they can hit just about any level from 5 to 10 with ease. Especially due to Boreastorm. Also, if you run a Bi'an and one of the lvl 7 blackwing main deck monsters to dump for Boreastorm, you can go into an easy blackwing full armor master that's not only immune to effects, but can't be destroyed in battle either. Unless your opponent has a way to tribute your monsters for a summon, it's gg. Full Armor master is a great card, really powerful, but summoned out with Bi'an as material makes him even more indestructible. Denglong and a random level 2 or 4 non tuner can also bring out the invincible full armor master, so there's that too. You'd need 2 Bi'ans in your deck for the level 4 non tuner version to work though.
You dont need vayu cuz of shadow tuning the trap if you run silverwind the trap that lets you sync from grave and banished zones it bypasses the 2+ non turner to get silverwind out and it counts as a legit synchro summon (twin shadow sorry)
The problem with the wisestrix as the only link monster is that you can't get rid of it and basically just go -1 because the 2 materials for wisestrix turn into 1 Level 4 monster to use for a synchro summon. I'd rather run the rusty bardiche and 2 fogs and 1 boots, because boots is a legit target for small world anyways. But Tear is out of the meta anyways so you probably already changed up the deck?
It’s so weird getting back into yugioh after something like 5-6 years and seeing that my black wings have changed so much since then.

absolute stud. genius deck profile. common tristan W

Thank you so much really apprec! Thanks for the info btw

Raikiri is good but Chidori is the only way to overcome ATK cap, especially for monsters unaffected by card affects.

Bystial and shamal does not equal assault dragon. You need a synchro tuner for the synchro summon of that…
LMAO I completely forgot haha, thats my bad! I think I meant full armor master lol
Black feather whirlwind doesn’t negate just prevents destruction
This is true, my mistake og

You can't use BW - Twin Shadow to go into Silverwind the Ascendant. The card says shuffle 2 monsters. Silverwind requires 3.
This is not true, twin shadow "cheats" out Silverwind through its own summoning conditions. It ignores silverwind's synchro material requirements.
I see now, the materials just have to meet the level requirement.
You don’t even need pk cards at all if you run Kali Yuga. Other ways not using cyber falcon
