    Welcome to day 02 of Booty Week!
    This workout is all about the glutes and utilizing gym machines to get in an awesome workout! Using machines is especially great for those of you who are newer to the gym and do not feel comfortable using free weight but still want to work with some form of resistance.
    It is a safe yet effective way to use resistance and work on movement patterns/form without having to rely solely on free-weight! Of course you will want to eventually build up the confidence to use free-weights, but it is a great place to start if you're not comfortable just yet!
    This is not just a great workout for beginners though! I love utilizing machine based exercises into my workout routines as well! You pay for a gym membership and everything in it so you might as well get your use out of it! lol
    !!FYI!!
    If it wasn't already obvious, I am only using demonstration weight in most of the booty week videos! I had to film and re-film so many glute focus workouts in a short period of time on top of my standard training 6 days a week. So with that, demonstration weight was the safest and most reasonable route! Make sure you guys are using challenging weight for the reps and sets given like I always say on this channel! Don't be afraid of the weights ladies!

      To anybody still feeling a little uncomfortable with new exercises if you search 'name of exercise' "form" you'll be more likely to find a more detailed demonstration. Keep at it and you'll be killing it in no time!

      Omg me too im, very insecure and i have bad anxiety when it comes ro have more people around me, i always think they're staring at me but they're probably not :(
      I always wanna try new exercises to help to get the shape that i want but im just too insecure :(

      I always workout at night but if I have to film, I know what times and nights are usual slowest. Most of the time I get it right! haha It's the pros of a 24/7 gym😆

    I tried the glute push downs last night and my lower back/tail bone area got so sore from leaning toward. Do you have any tips on how I can avoid that?

      It shouldn't. Make sure your not hypetextending (arching) your back when you do it. Your spine should stay neutral and your back should be as parallel to the ground as possible like your leaning over the machine. If anything, just do them straight up and make sure to push through your heel.

    I started doing cable side kicks and my right side seems to struggle with low weight. Is there a certain position that would be easier for side glutes side cable kicks? Thanks in adsvance

      I find holding the machine, a slight bend in the standing leg and a lean over to be the most comfortable. I would mess around with how straight up or bent over you stand, how close you are to the machine and how high out you kick. Sometimes it just takes some messing around with. If anything, just replace is with another abduction exercise that is more comfortable for you!

    Hi, for the single leg cable I’ve tried to lean forward more to focus on my glutes rather than my quads but it started to hurt my back loads??! Anyone know why? :)

      The lower back discomfort you’re describing will most likely be due to hyper extension of the spine. Focus on keeping your spine neutral and not arching your butt out during the movement or when you reach the top. Only go up as high as you need to feel your glutes fully contracted and no further 😀💪

      These workouts are being posted daily for a week just to get up variety for people of different fitness levels and equipment access! These are NOT meant to be done daily. Use the videos as a reference for whenever you are going to train glutes and need a routine or some ideas. Your glutes need rest!😄💪

    What if you dont have one of those machines the single leg push downs? My gym only has the giant ones

      Your gym doesn't have an assisted pull up machine? Most gyms should have one. If not, you could do a single-leg press on a leg press machine or you can swap it out for another glute movement like cable kick backs on the cable machine.
      These exercises are just some of the many machine exercises you can do for the glutes!😄
