When I saw my friends RG350 I was so blown away by the screen seeing how this one has the Dpad in the optimum spot I am so buying this as soon as I can.
I DO love my RG350, though, the recent video of a Raspberry Pi4 in a game boy style case that plays N64 and half of the 6th gen console (minus PS2 unfortunately, and... who cares about X-box!?) with it's 'out-of-the-box' HDMI out and 4 USB ports for 4 player games IMMEDIATELY working... =D

right,the new3ds has enough horsepower to be an emulation handheld up to ps1 games ,even n64 games as well,and also got the tremendous library of 3ds and ds games. just only have to go through hacked systems and custom emulators then gather roms some stuff like that. I personally use a old psp and a old 3ds to play handheld games,then my pc take care of other console emulation with a controller for good measure

I’m pretty sure with the Rk2020 you have to download the official firmware online Cause of legal reasons so you would have to export it into the where as the 3G350P the emulators are pre installed but I may be wrong so look into it more

The thing is, I don’t want to be with a console that doesn’t get updates. It seems that Ambernik might be updating their products more often.
It's a beautiful handheld to be sure. Myself, I'll wait til their next syatem with more powerful internals before I replace my OG RG350. I do like the better sticks but I can deal with the bigger ones for now. Rumor is they will be announcing updated hardware in August. If they don't, I may end up snagging one of these just for the better sticks.

Hi by mistake, I deleted all the content from the memory that comes included with the console (the pre-loaded games one). Does anyone know where I can download the "original" content of that memory? The pros of the RK are the bigger selection of devices emulated out of the box (eg Dreamcast), and the cons are the somewhat poor performance of say the N64 emulator... And also that it seems pretty cheapo lol. The opposite is true for the RG350P. Questions: 1. I'm leaning towards the RG350P mainly due to build quality. Will firmware updates increase the number of systems being emulated, ie will it ever gain the ability to play Dreamcast games in the future? 2. How often does new official firmware come out for both devices? 3. Which device has more homebrew support?

How is the weight difference? I haven't found what the 350p weighs and how its hand comfort for long play sessions is vs 350m. Been concerned the 350m is too heavy for longer play.
I had a RG350P then got the RG350M. RG350M was very nicely made and screen res was better but for me felt too bulky because of the weight so I went back to the RG350P. I just wish the 350p had the same screen but to me it feels more comfortable but that is really just a personal preference. My two cents.

I am leaning towards the P due to it's lower weight. My question is whether the lower resolution on the P really makes a noticeable difference, or if if I should go with the higher resolution. You did not mention your take on the different resolution between 350P and 350M. I would prefer the lighter plastic shell, but do not want to miss out on the higher resolution of the m. I could imagine the 480p display might be better with snes and gba. What is your opinion?

I hear a lot of people say that the RG350M "looks like something made by Nintendo" but I can't think of a single first party Nintendo handheld with a metal case and rubber grips on the back... Anyway, the RG350 line is cool as far as build quality and aesthetics go. I definitely got a lot of use out of mine. But I honestly haven't even touched it since I got an Odroid Go Advance. It's just not that capable... PSX games are spotty, and many SNES titles struggle to hit their original framerates. The OGA and its clones blow it out of the water, as far as performance goes, and even run a ton of N64, Dreamcast, and PSP amazingly well with the right settings.
I recently purchased the RK2020. I only paid &79 for it and the case. It's coming from China, so it could take time. But I am getting that atomic purple look.
I'm still just waiting for the Analogue Pocket. An actual quality product, with no piracy required. Sad that it go delayed, but they're hardly the only one getting screwed up by COVID19.

there are a million reason to not jam these types of systems into your pockets.. sticks alone is 1. thats how you break the sticks and ware them out.

The 240p screen on the P means games run in their native resolution without scaling. Much better than a 480p screen in my opinion

I never understood the bandwagon of low profile sticks. Sticking these handhelds in your pocket is stupid to even do from the get go. Id never even think of doing that

Thats the 350m with a playstation sticker. Its well made and feels good, but i can't get over the shifty software.
