My top 5 steakhouses:
5) Craftsteak: I'm a huge Tom Colicchio fan.
4) SW Steakhouse: Amazing food, but the atmosphere is a bit too posh/formal for my taste.
3) Golden Steer: The OG Vegas steakhouse.
2) Bazaar Meats: Almost every other steakhouse in Vegas has the same menu. Bazaar Meats is different in a very good way.
1) Bavette's: I think it has the best stkeahouse atmosphere in Vegas, which for me is an enormous part of the steakhouse experience.
That is a great list. We will be having a craftsteak review eventually, had some issues and gonna make it a 2 part video… really have enjoyed the others and eaten at Craftsteak and Bavettes most of all

Thank you Josh & Rachael for trying and enjoying our all time favorite Steakhouse in Vegas. My wife loves their crab cake because it reminded her of Crab Imperial. The steaks are great but the service was exceptional. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and comforting. I was afraid after all the restaurants that you reviewed before that you would find fault in our choice spot. Well Done!

Woowwww my girl and I were just there on Monday night. The service was great but I can’t say this is the best or close to the best in my opinion.
The strip was not on par, it didn’t really taste like much of anything. Au gratin Potatoes were ok. We got market King crab legs , which weren’t too good either.
But the lump crab cake. It was the best we’ve had. It was really good. I got the Sidecar to drink because I wanted to try Branson cognac. It was decent as well.
But for $300, I feel we can do better.
Dang, the tough thing is consistency for sure, maybe off night? The crab cake was definitely one of the best ever. We did have to add the coarse salt to bring out flavor in the NY so I can understand that. Agree the potato’s were mediocre but we have been disappointed lately with sides at steakhouses - high prices and generally run together
We have been on a big run of steakhouses lately and for us on this night the food, service and ambience did stand out, would be interesting to see if it held up for us or not.

As a former employee of a Chicago Steak house, don't order a strip steak.
Really? Please elaborate
From what the chefs mentioned it is a low grade cut, hard to get the juice flowing and hardly ever tender. They would always say anyone who paid more than $10 bucks for that steak is crazy. I worked at one of the worlds finest steak houses as a bartender for 5 years. I use to always order the fliet or ribcap. I do know we had amazing ribeyes but i am not a fan of the bone. Order what you like I am just going off what i was told.

I had never heard of this steakhouse. Taking a friend out for bday dinner...Torn between this and Javiers...What would you recommend? My heart is set on mole enchiladas but that rib cap looked amazing!!!
Thanks Johnny, definitely depends on what you are going for, as they are very different. Javiers is more modern and Mexican, Vic and Anthony’s definitely gave us that old steakhouse vibe and delivered! Price point is probably pretty similar

So I was traveling through The Chesapeake Bay in my vehicle. I passed by a seafood restaurant. They had a billboard that said WE HAVE the CRABS. I settled on McDonald's 🤓

last week we went to barry's at circa it was good but i dont think great i need to try jean george at aria next time
Oh yes Jean Georges is really good. We have not tried Barry’s, actually cancelled our reservation there for this since we had heard some mediocre reviews lately

About a year ago we decided to try this restaurant based on reviews and videos from Bill and Lisa. Now, we don't typically spend much time downtown, but we thought , let's give this place a try. Well, while the food was decent, the experience was ...horrendous, to say the least. A man sat a couple tables away from us and he was by himself. He was yelling and speaking very loudly saying all kinds of very rude sexist and antisemitic things. Just being belligerent and horrible. This went on for a good 45 min of our meal. We complained and it took entirely way too long for the restaurant/casino to get rid of this guy. It was soooo bad. Nothing like this has ever happened at a strip restaurant and I can't see those casinos tolerating this behavior the way this casino/restaurant did. I am now really turned off to venturing downtown for a meal.
Oh man that is awful and would totally ruin any dining experience for me as well. We don’t venture downtown too much since it is definitely a different crowd. We had a great experience but totally don’t blame you after what you experienced

We did prefer it over Andiamos and Oscars downtown. Still want to try Barry’s downtown but it’s our favorite currently if on Fremont
