Traveling to Ireland - Kissing the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle

Come join me as I experience one of the most iconic things you can do in Ireland. The Blarney Stone dates back to 1446 and is said to give the gift of blarney to all who kiss it! Supposedly after kissing it, the kisser receives the gift of gab and eloquence charming all those they meet. To get this gift bestowed upon me required going through a difficult journey of climbing a medieval staircase and leaning over a 90-foot drop. It was truly horrifying!

I had a small panic attack going up that stair case, I didnt realise just how steep and narrow it was going to be, I had to take a break in one of the rooms half way up. I didnt kiss the stone, I already have the gift of the gab lol. Amazing place and amazing view from the top

Just so you know the handrail going up the steps is that rope that goes up in the middle of the stairs
