- Sometimes, if you look hard enough and seek out what you’re looking for, you get more than what you expected. This is one of those times where persistence and passion came into play. Come along and check out this rolling piece of history as I meet up with Steve and talk about his “pre-tag” Meyers Manx buggy. What a beautiful example of the simplicity and fun that Bruce brought to so many with his creative mind. Please enjoy this very cool story and of course, very cool buggy. #meyersmanx #manx #buggy #vwlifestyle #history #vw
Swedish busses, pre-tag Manxes, love all these unique VWs! 😮
That one takes me back to my 1st car. Dad and I built a Manx "style" dune buggy in 1969. It was medium green gel coat. We called it avocado green. We put a T top on it and I drove that car every where winter and summer. No heat. It was a street buggy. Loved that car. Now, even at my age, I'd like to have that car again. Enjoy yours.
@@jimdandy2275 what a great story! Thank you for sharing. I think it’s so fantastic when I hear about people recalling stories of doing projects such as this with their parents. So cool.
Love the buggy. Great color and build. Found a Sandman Buggy last year in rough shape. This gives me motivation to build it.
@@charlesloar3210 Awesome! Go after it! 💪
