its weird cuz most of the sequence I didnt got them.. I noticed I didnt a mixed of both, instead of going to sophie, I went to see aitor instead, but gave the water tower to the survivor and not peackeeper, then when I went to see sophie hidout I found the skin, barney found out and then sophie came but I never got in the small jail I saw in your sequence... so theres mores options i think.
I went with Aitor, he's a better person, he protects and HELPS his allies, and gets you to the center if you help him, and doesn't hold a grudge if you don't help him, just gets pissed off. Sophie orders around and uses Aiden like a tool so she can take control of the Bazaar, all whilst promising she'll get him to the central loop herself. But then when she finally gets control, straight after the first meeting with Lawan, she just says "nah sorry can't keep my promise, I have more important Bazaar ruler business to attend to, oh by the way there's a way through to the central loop that I could've told you from the beginning, but I didn't want to tell you until you got yourself caught up in local conflicts haha lol get wrecked Aiden" If you want the bazaar to stay as a safezone, go with the survivors in Old Villedor, but if you don't care for the safe zone, go with Aitor, you'll feel better for it knowing Sophie is a lying cow anyways. Plus you get to kill Barney which is an instant win.
I find his name a mix of being ridiculous and funny and ironic considering there is s nice talking singing dinosaur Barney who is a nice person who sings and this Barney from dying light 2 is a asshole who runs his damn mouth and antagonizes people when given the chance
@@justaguywholikestosoundsma6760 You know what else Barney claims that he we left his friend to die that we left his friend when he ran to his sister without waiting for us to come back after checking on his friend then he berates us then blames us for the death of his friend if Barney wanted his sister to have a good impression on then he should keep his mouth shut that and he needs to keep his reckless impulsive actions under control
@@yoursoulessmate Same I hate him too That 16 old boy was younger then him and Barney was older He got Kojack killed then Barney acts like that we want the damn crystals when our mission was a completely different reason which is to get him and that 16 year old boy to safety He still didn’t trust us made things difficult and even ran off when we went to go check up on the kid while still blaming us and acting like we’re after the crystals.
To be honest, the peacekeepers have been nothing but nice to us, they actually REWARD you for your labors and never tried to kill you. They build intricate traps to help you while survivors gives you shit like airbags or revives only if you're near a camp. Being a "survivor" doesn't automatically entitle you to help
Not to mention the peacekeepers achualy help people on the ground level the survivors just hide on there rooftops while everyone below them starves and dies. Plus it makes traveling on the ground level alot easer and not allow me to get instantly swarmed by bandits or zombies.
I was gonna say, I swear, I think it's intentional that all the Survivors are written as such jackasses. Like, it is made painfully obvious that we aren't supposed to like them and they are the shitheads in this situation. I don't like a single thing about their faction; I hate their ideology, hate their look, but I'm a runner, so I side with them to get the extra platforms and shit to make exploration more expedient. The Peacekeepers are 100% the nicest people that we could have ever dealt with in this game, at least from what I've seen so far. They bashed me in the head, sure, but instead of saying some "we did it because of our codes, and we stand by our codes" nonsense, they actually were like "yeah, we fucked up, our bad. We don't trust you, you don't trust us, let's work on it. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours". They are entirely respectful and reasonable. I actually feel like such a dick for seemingly betraying Aitor, because I really fucking liked the guy. He was the first straightforward person I had met in Villedor at that point.
@@rookiedrifter4273 ikr? I hated the hell out of the bazaar from the first ten seconds. Like, WTF?? There’s no cure, you’re all infected anyways, it sounds like if this guy just stays in the U.V light anyways, he’ll be fine. But nooo, KILL THE F*CKER!!! Like wtf?? Then they play victim later “hE cOuLd HaVe TuRnEd!!!” So could you right now with that principle. Stupid biomarkers aren’t exactly feeding you curo-_-. Then their attitude later (BS Barney only ran back when he heard of Birdie’s fate, Birdie literally just passed and we’re on the radio saying it when he’s already there.) it disgusted me, but I played it as cool as possible, I wanted to be moderate about the situation. Then finally Barney sicks the goons, getting more and more of the group killed. Then the bodyguard just randomly advanced on you (btw wtf choking the f*ck out of someone just coming up to talk non threateningly??) so your forced to kill that asshole. My final straw, that first choice point. When I heard the P.K raided the building, I ran in, because I wanted to save them, and I was about to see the P.K as the villains. Then Sophie herself grabs the crossbow, and goes “LoLz YoU f*CkInG tRaItOr (though I have no evidence of you doing anything at all against us) I cAn KiLL yOu!!!” I saw red, thought first, I can literally side step to the dry wall here, miss shoved herself in a damn jail cell. Second R U F*CKING KIDDING ME?? I’ve been nothing but kind and understanding, yet you’re relishing the idea of killing me??? Oh ho ho, “TRY ME B*TCH!!!” Suddenly all backed down “uh ohhh BuT wE nEeD tHe WaTeR…” I laughed my ass off. I had already done enough jobs for them. They could get their water, when they cooperated with the P.K. Then they go full on terrorist, I hear it’s no different, maybe actually worse on the other side. Bunch of f*cking psychopaths who were just constantly wanting blood. No duh I chose the P.K. At least one group treated me with sanity and understanding, rather than bloodlust and bitchiness.
Agreed, when Carl cave his schpeal about their ideology, I was like "uhhh, how are you going to have a world without politics while you're playing politics?" Dude was an idealist moron (like many today). Then Barney being a super d-bag to the kid over the crystals, getting him killed, and Sophie's "I should be in charge because my mom blah blah." All of it is BS for the survivors. They claim to live by principles but they don't even follow them. Made it easy to side with the Peacekeepers honestly. Also, homeboy who voices Barney also voices Carl and like 4 other sub characters I've run into on my play through.
@@WhopyStompy really? I mean goddamn if that's true about the Voice actor, I hate the characters he voices (Carl and Barney) but he is a pretty good voice actor And tbh Carl creeped me out and put me off when he first talked to Aiden but I much prefered him as the leader of the bazaar as he didn't want to attack anyone, that's the one good thing about him
@@BassBanj0 yeah, sorry to break that facade for ya, lol. That voice actor is in a lot of games that I've played, so I recognized it immediately....and then again, and again, and again. A lot of the side quest characters have really bad voice acting, and I heard that from a lot of the reviews I watched. But with the knowledge of homeboy dropping lines for two main characters and countless sub characters, I'm wondering if Techland paid too much for Rosario Dawson's involvement. Honestly, I could care less about who leads the Survivors but to each their own. Carl turned me off right away, then Barney made it worse and Sophie sealed the deal. Lol
The writer tried to give a reason why they become like this. But i dont give a shit 1 or 2 maybe ok but most of my quests in Bazzar is the people stab in the back, used, lured, lied each others. And at the end they like i am so sorry i dont want to do this but i had to. Oh f**k them
Glad to see I’m not the only one who likes the PKs more 😂 they just seem so much more upfront & real, the Survivors have a lot of sketchy tweeker type of people that will stab you in the back ..
The one thing that turned me off the most about the survivors was how that one kid died for some fucking crystals…. And how cowardly Brayan jus fcked off after we searched for his “friend” that he keeps mourning about
And Sophie backing up her delusional brother while still proclaiming to be a better leader than Carl?.? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit . You couldn’t lead a herd of goats much less care for a district of people
I went with Peacekeepers. No way I was helping Sophie after they tried to kill me. I saved her brother/ did all that stuff for her, and this is how I get repaid? Cmon. Plus, Sophie was only in it for herself. She wanted to be leader instead of Carlos. Barney is also the most selfish, annoying prick ever. It's too bad you can't kill him. Edit: You can kill him. Fixed.
The survivor faction had kids that tried to kill and eat another kids dog for their moms birthday. So yeah PK all the way. The only faction trying to instill law and order into the city and make it safe.
yeah after that sidequest and the moms reaction to when I told the little kid the truth about the two other kids and their evil plan I decided the survivors could kiss my ass and I sided with the PK's lmao. Yeah the PK's are kinda brutal sometimes but so are the survivors or even worse and plus they're WAY bigger assholes, the only guy who comes to mind who is a big asshole in the pk's is Jack Matt
My main gripe with this is lack of some sorta reputation. Since you can literally dismember all of the Bazaar people or PKs at the front gate of their main zones and still be on their good side cause you made the right story choices lol.
I'm kinda happy there is no reputation system as I accidentally kill a bunch of people mistaking them for bandits cause I'm used to games showing a visual difference in Npcs and enemies from the hud and in this it's whose wearing a helmet or mask... makes a little bit of sense though when I murk someone then his friends run up and decide it's not worth the risk of avenging them. "That guy fell from a building then dropkicked Barry twenty meters across the street into spikes... even if three of us jump him I don't think we'll win this fight..."
@@AImightywoIf737 It's like Techland's response to the criticism that Kyle was constantly being pushed around in cutscenes was to make Aiden threaten and mock every single guy to his face no matter the odds in cutscenes, before handing control over to the player so he could go apeshit on them.
Peacekeepers had more people than the survivors,so i'd chose the peacekeepers, besides we're fighting zombies too and we need allies on the ground too so you won't be a lonewolf all the time
That the entire point why I pick the peace keepers because I thought about the long run we need a strong faction to protect everyone from the zombie not just one man doing everything that will die one day
That's one of the reasons why I'm giving everything to them They are small just the ones who are protecting everyone and are doing a great job at it, and they are the only ones that are straightforward and nice, they might have some weird and fucked up things about them but I prefer them all the way over the survivors who I hated from the start
@@BassBanj0 I am gonna give it all the to peacekeepers what Barney did and how many time the survivors tried killing why even help them especially if they don’t help the innocent.
@@Samueljack272 same here, I mean the only person who was mean to Aiden on the PK side was Anderson but that was only at the start when they first captured you, she was later shown to be a nice person Aitor alone is the reason why I like the PK's so much, he is a great guy who is honest and wants the best for everyone, the Peacekeepers as a whole are like that Also the peacekeepers bases look cool af compared to the survivors aha
Considering the survivors tried to lynch me (as Aiden) when I first arrived, then try to murder me AGAIN when I go to rescue Sophie/Barney at their safehouse, ontop of Barney being a unstable jerk who I wouldn't trust with my life IRL, it was EASY to pick the PK side. Plus when I did initially side with the Survivors I noticed that Sophie was kind of gung-ho to start a war with the PK despite the PK/Aitor openly talking about wanting to avoid a conflict if they could. (In general I find the Survivors are truly just an anarchist faction where they're truly "everyone for themselves" until they need help. Even one of their sidequests was all about a woman faking the theft of her flour to blame on her own best friend, so that she didn't have to pay the gambling debts of her son.) So despite the PK appearing kind of militaristic and facist (to a small degree), they're ironically the best hope overall of saving humanity. Because even looking at it objectively, they are the ones making an effort to build an organized response to actively combat/contain the infected and to essentially rebuild society. Now can their methods be a bit harsh/strict? Yeah, totally. But in a world where "dog-eat-dog" anarchy is CLEARLY not working, you might actually need that facist military mentality to save everyone (I won't even get into a political debate or argue semantics. However I do believe it reinforces a concept I once read about where someone explained that in times of peace/prosperity you ideally want a compassionate leader who is democratically elected to look out for the well-being of everyone, yet in times of crisis we need a psychopathic facist who'll make decisive choices based entirely on the greater good rather than what we "feel" is right/wrong. But it's trying to find a balance and conceding power when the time is due, that becomes the great conflict between the two.)
No lie, I got the same vibe from the survivors smh. I literally said to my friends in co-op that the survivors seem like the grimy ones. I gave them the water in the first section because I felt like I "promised" them that but once I got to the next section I gave the pk's the electric and just rolled pk for the rest of my game so far
The problem with the survivors is their methods clearly don't work, they're struggling and constantly need Aidens help, whereas the PK's would probably be absolutely fine if Aiden was never here to begin with. In dark times like this you need a strong leader who'll make those tough choices, so I completely agree with you.
The peacekeepers are the answer for people like me who longed for actual reinforcements in Dying Light 1. The random survivors were not the most reliable. The PKs were not the nicest but like everyone else, they try to survive. Same goes for the survivors who are pretty much paranoid assholes but the game also did a great job to justify each sides' actions. I've already had pretty much the same experience in Dying Light 1 when I devote myself to the survivors like you know, being a One Man Army. Also, Techland really did well with THE plot twists to be honest. I was almost convinced the person I suspected was the one who actually killed Lucas. Sophie and my kind heart was the only one keeping me from totally abandoning the paranoiac asshole survivors
The PKs are also the answer for people who don't believe in anarchy and that being "nice to people" is enough. Aitor sums it up pretty well when he says there can't be order and leaders if "everyone is equal". And society needs order, people need leaders, that's just how we are.

Jack the leader of the pk is bad lol he wanted to flood the city and tried killing you if you side with Williams and when you do side with Williams you find out jack true tension.
The way that the Bazaar people treat you there really calls for a PK-sided ending, but not helping the Bazaar results in a reeaallyy bad outcome. Honestly couldn't judge either choice
I've gone with the PKs so far since they seemed like the actually smart ones, but the story ends like shit if you don't go with survivors 100%. Makes me not want to finish the game honestly
what bad ending? you can help out the pks in old villedor and help the survivors in central loop, got that way the best ending and didnt even expected it EDIT: that way you dont become a bootlicker and can support the morally best groups (PK and Nightrunners)
I said many times already, poverty brings out the worst in people! That's what got the survivors down, glad I could solve that for them, also distrust doesn't come from nothing, especially when they literally got nothing! I don't recall seeing anything other than PKs in places they control but I did see lots of food grown where survivors control, with that out of the way, it's their choices from then on.

@Aidan McClement if that's true they definitely should have you know regardless. That would actually solidify him as a bad guy. He never gave me any reason to not trust him.

Sure Pk would do the same but we dont get that option to know how PK will react to us in the first few minutes of the game
no, it's worse. when the PK first interact with you when they catch you sneaking through their base, the only interrogate you with violent threats, then let you go when they realize they won't get any info important to them from you. the PK are so much nicer than the bazzar people it's hilarious that siding against the bizzar people is meant to be a bad thing
@@fascistwhiterunguard7919 sneaking into their base which is worse than stumbling into a public area where there are UV lamps around to save you. The PK response overly kind to doing something against them while the survivors act bloodthristy when they could've easily helped you.
PEACEKEEPERS is the way to go. Like Hakon said right before you make the decision Aidan is not there to get involved with local politics and stir up all this term-oil he is simply there to find his sister and settle down and the best way to achieve that is with the PK’s help not go off and be a fucking hero over some “girl”
@@blackBrad18 No they didn't? I think you need to rewatch the scene. Hakon is the one that rescues Aiden, who is less of a survivor and more of his own person. He doesn't really have a specific side.

@@VideoGameSophistry im looking at the timeline of this game and i think they changed too much doing development hope they add that in with a update . where you can save
if anyone wants to know, the choices here WILL NOT affect the ending. You can side with Sophie or Aitor and still get the GOOD ending. The only difference here is if you side with survivors, then the bazaar will still serve as a functioning base, whereas if you side with pk the bazaar will be abandoned.. if you side with Survivors here, YOU CAN STILL SAVE AITOR by giving him the correct dosage of recluse flower. He will threaten to rat you out to Jack Matt, BUT DONT WORRY, he never does… and you can still get the LAZARUS from him at the pub later and act like everything is ok. I chose PK here because I don’t mind bazaar being abandoned. but I picked Frank in the VNC tower. If you side with Frank, Jack Matt will set you up by having someone shoot an arrow at Frank and blame it on the renegades. When the TRUTH is revealed, Jack Matt’s men are angry with him and turn against him just before a missile strikes the building. So survivors is the BEST route for the good ending because at least the PKs know Jack Matt is corrupt and therefore will choose a better leader which I hope is AITOR.
I basicly choose the PK’s simply because I know anarchy doesn’t work, especially in a world like this. The PK’s fight for order and that’s something I support.
"let's watch the fucker die" sealed the survivor's fate for me honestly. They acted like a damn cult ready to watch someone suffer. And really blowing up the windmill only justified my reasoning more. In the end though it didn't matter because I blew everyone the fuck up, and wouldn't you know it it brought them together
Exactly there was only one person in the audience who still wanted to kill aiden but at least quickly but everyone else wanted a show then kept justifying it their just sick
I've dedicated myself to helping the Peacekeepers all the way, I've given all areas so far too them as they have been nothing but helpful and nice to the player, and they go out their way to help and protect people Aitor is by far my favourite character in the game, he is a great guy and honestly is the reason why I like them so much Also when you give them the bases etc they have some badass designs

If you get the antizine the normal way then the story continues like normal but if you steal it then you can at least help the infected survivors on the floor where in the main game it would've gotten infected and a break out would've happened. Like that or something
This is a very hard choice to be honest like we don’t know the survivors did it or then pk just trying to have an excuse to force one of them to be killed and that is not working the survivors questions themselves who did it
My opinion is chose the PKS A.atior is nicer and he actually rewards you and even gives you the heads up when you might be in danger B. Barny is a fucking psyco C. PKS have cool shit D. Semi auto croosbow
I genuinely don't like anyone in the survivors. Aitor is the only one I've liked so far in the game. I wanted to kill Barney ever since he bailed on his crew in the beginning of the game, but at the same time, I don't like seeing him wrongfully imprisoned. Game makes it really hard to pick a path when I don't particularly like any of the paths offered, and especially because it seems that peace keepers is less rewarding?
@@kingteb Lol that was literally the only reason why I gave the water tower to the PKs. I saw the crossbow upgrade and gave the tower to them. I didn’t actually think my choice mattered but it did, which was cool. A lot of the survivors started hating me afterwards.
I beat the game already and was wondering what would have happened if I sided with the Survivors. Glad I sided with the PK’s. If you guys get far enough, you’ll see Sophie in the Bazaar. Once you beat the game and go for a third time, Sophie hanged herself on the top level, and Carl’s dead next to her. Glad I sided with the PK’s. Sophie is a whiny drama queen, Barney is a f*****g d**k, and Carl was a creep giving holy prayers to the ground like a psycho when you first meet him. Not to mention they tried hanging you in the beginning. Other than Lawan, Frank, Hakon, and the Nightrunners (because Kyle Crane, duh), choosing the PK’s was the *EASIEST* decision I’ve ever had to make in a game. And yes, F**K Jack Matt - I 110% sided with the Colonel because of that schmuck… Both sides honestly have equally liked/hated characters. You don’t meet the schmucky PK characters until the second half of the game. But in the beginning, siding with the PK’s was too easy. The second half of the game makes you wish you sided with the Survivors though solely for the Survivors in the central loop being dope, and the PK’s sucking there! Love this game!
Please how i can find hanged sophie? What must i do aside give water tower to PK? I always found her in bazaar debris lying on bed. Not hanged... And Karl is hanged at the gate when you side with survivors and PK break into bazaar... Btw is there any way I can find Sophie when i finish the game and give water tower to survivors? I only find Barney, never Sophie...is there any easter egg with sophie?
Lawan and Frank are pretty cool people tbh, Hakon is alright and Sophie though a bit harsh and paranoid, is pretty chill. The only likeable person in the PKs is aitor, but he does literally massacre the survivors *twice*
Barney Is literally the only one who is 100% an asshole to you, the rest are just people trying to not get annihilated by PKs, which the PKs do twice. Also, Aitor is the only PK we even talk to as opposed to the bunch of Bazzar folk we meet.
@@adityasalunkhe1288 so I'm supposed to be sympathetic to a character who has done nothing but treat me like shit. Aiden has arguably been through way worse but isn't a complete cunt.
i hated the survivors cause of these people but after when you leave the bazaar they are actually ok but for the start route the pk is the best way to go
TBH considering how chaotic things get in the survivor areas with bandits and people trying to screw each other over, I'm surprised, the survivors are the good guys... they try to kill you three times and their leader (Carl) is an idiot. The only positive thing about him is that he didn't want a war. On the flip side jack is an asshole, and frank at least does something proactive for the people while also bringing back some force in the form of the Nightrunners, granted it's not as effective as the peace keepers army and tools. TBH the main deciding factors for me were the aesthetic and upgrades... so PK all the way. Renegades could have been an interesting option and even added some post epilogue activities in the form of consolidating their power. I feel that choice was thrown in at the last second, which is a shame. The colonel seemed on the level so pretending that his thugs (and the rest of the PK that Juan is in charge of) would just be a Horde of greedy Bandits, despite the game spending effort to clarify that Waltz was in charge of the rabid crazies, was disappointing. It's even more disappointing when you consider all the shady GRE stuff they would have had access to prior to losing the key. Instead we get "lol all your food is belong to us >:D"
i remember cliimbing the big windmill cause i was doing everything i could before the main story. since the game is still a bit buggy, there were white marks all over the tower. they were probably explosives that were meant to be put there but since the game glitched out and showed them to me, i assumed it was gonna get blown up. even if you try to help sophie, they still try to kill you. PK all the way.
The Survivors in Old Villedor made it out to sound like the PK's were the bad guys so I ended up siding with them. On the other hand, the Survivors in the Center Loop seemed to actually rely on the PK's protection. Basically I gave Old Villedor to the Survivors and the whole Center Loop to the PK's. I was also desperate for the Crossbow and god damn is it absolutely busted. Carried my ass hard throughout the last half of the game.
Sophie and Barney's personality were a big reason why I choose the PK's, they feel more inviting, real, and entertaining to be around than the diehard survivors of the Bazar, only thing I regret about choosing the PK's is the fate of the craftsmaster and his son
i think its a little bit of a pity that sparing hermann doesnt change the fate of the bazaar after youve gone to central loop, would be nice if hermann was alive sophie and some bazaarians would have survived since he's a grizzly of a man and could defend them
@@BassBanj0 yeah but the Survivors are people just trying to survive the PK are selfish and wont give them any support . Plus the PKs accuse the Baazar of killing Lucas even though they had nothing to do with it.
The ONLY incentive towards choosing the survivors was the claim "they're just like the old authority figures"... Which they obviously aren't, so that didn't dissuade me from blue. (Besides, the crux of the bazaar's hate is that the PK couldn't be everywhere at once...)
Honestly i like the fish eye people rather than the bazaar people. The bazaar trying to hang aiden and when i sided with the bazaar the conversation after beat anderson sophie said something about the pk been torn apart by the infected. That is savage

I chose to help aitor in my game because the survivors were absolute dicks to me from the moment we met. And Barney was suspicious from the moment we mmet and never stopped being sus. The revelation that it was hakon behind it genuinely left me stumped cause it was going so hard towards making barney be the killer.
As far as I can tell, giving the water tower to the survivors locks you in to their path, leaving you no choice but to back their war against the PKs even after you uncover the evidence (apparently) implicating them in Lucas's murder. A bit of an unfortunate decision on the part of the developers; it seems like you could logically deliver the evidence to Aitor at that point, but I didn't see a way to do so.
THIS! I was blowing up the PK windmill base and thought to myself. Hold the fuck up, why am i doing this? Why is any of this happening? I never agreed to go to war with PK's at all. I just gave survivors the water because i preferred their upgrades and their bases are prettier. It was their water before PK's came anyway. But apparently having logical thinking and giving the water to the survivors means the same as "I will go on a suicide mission to cowardly murder everyone in your enemies main base". It was fucked up and i felt cheated the whole way. I wanted survivors to have the water but i never wanted to murder every PK member either.
@@CrimsonEsso I gave them the water but turned off my game to go to bed and the diologue right before I did had me worried. Now I'm kinda pissed I figured the choices of siding with the factions would be the way to go not the water tower
@@justinrivera4320 Yes, but you have no more evidence about that at that point in the Bazaar path versus the Peacekeeper path. If you can believe Barney killed Lucas when he's arrested during the Peacekeeper path, you could logically believe the same at the equivalent point of the Bazaar path.
@@gregconen in the bazaar path hakon radios you and tells you he'll scout out Sophie's hideout for you before you check it out. When you confront sophie she says that someone must have planted it [the tattooed skin]; pointing out how easily you were able to sneak in. I immediately new hakon had planted it and was probably the killer, it spells it out pretty good for you in the bazaar path.
The survivors lost my help when they tried to hang me. The PK's are a trained millitary force with good equipment and disipline. In a world run by creatures that evolve and mutate into near superhuman levels of speed and strength I will side with and help the Peacekeepers however I can be it running supplies or just running an errand, anything to keep as many of them out patrolling the streets killing infected and arresting bandits as possible. In a real scenario these guys and gals would be our only hope of making it through this alive for even a week, these survivors would kill each other by the end of the DAY if left alone to run things. I mean the amount of people you can find them helping while being berated is unreal. Is it so hard to be at least a LITTLE greatfull?
Is there a way to choose the PK's without turning Old Viledor into a ghost town? My first playthrough neither base of operations had anyone in it, both abandoned.
I beleive the reason was because they called to retreat. And probably the PK people in Old Viledor retreated. Dont know how, but there were even zombies dressed as PK there.
You can side with the survivors in Old villedor, keeping the bazaar populated, and side with the PKs the rest of the game. The first section is isolated in the sense that no matter what you do before getting to the central loop, nobody cares what you did and you can side with anyone.
I didn’t give it to the peacekeepers on this one everything else I will but low key I feel like the civilians are misunderstood I would not trust anybody and be aggressive if I got f over multiple times
Building off of this, the VNC tower was the icing on the cake and solidified my choice to side with the PKs. Pk: "you're the only one who can take the tower, we need you please help us restore order to the world! We have troops going with you to help" Survivors: "you're an idiot for trying, you'll die. We won't help you... Oh, wait, you made it to the top? Wanna give us control of the tower?" The survivors can go pound salt.
I'm at the point where Barney is being questioned by Aitor. I hate that it's so glaringly obvious that he didn't kill Lucas, and that Hakon is obviously the one who did it. I hate that I'm not able to say anything about that to Aitor. It's like my character (Aiden) is so clueless, has such an incredibly low IQ, that he actually thinks Barney is guilty. I'm going to be very happy and impressed if I'm wrong and Hakon isn't guilty, but it just seems so damn obvious.
Nah mate if they were gonna swing an axe to kill you quickly more than fair enough but they just wanted to hang you and watch you slowly turn they just wanted a show
When you side with the PK and finish the game the game for some reason in the end sequence they say the PK are actually evil even though they are literally only kind and try to make the infected city a liveable place
I feel like the PKs in old Villedor is the best option, yet survivors in the central loop are the best choice. If you pay attention you’ll see from the first “renegades” attack that it was orchestrated by Jack, claiming he was watching from afar and only intervened when he saw you kicking their ass. Whereas the PKs in old Villedor genuinely wanted peace. Logically giving PKs control of old Villedor and survivors the central circle would be the best choice if you could bring peace to both sides. The PKs could act as security for the survivor bases in the central loop. I wish there was more endings that allowed for real intricate endings like that.
yeah agree, also matt poisened frank, fuck him love that with the coop glitch i have 4 zones for survivors and 4 for PK best of both worlds(in the story and gameplay)
I'd rather help the survivors in Old Villedor, Aitor was cool and all but his predecessors stirred enough hate and was nothing but unhelpful in keeping stability in the region.

i had something completely different happen i went peacekeeper route and took the water tower but then gave it to the survivors and barney wasn’t arrested
SPOILERS Also when you give the water to the PK, Barney captures you while you're in the metro on the way to central, which you then have to kill Barney BUT further into the story, you later see the outcome of the Bazaar. Which becomes this rundown horrible building with no UV lights and an encounter with Sophie
Tbh I would choose pk their the only ones protecting people and actually cover more ground while the survivors only has one guy solve all their problems plus the survivors especially barney and Sophie aren't morally good either at least the pks don't try to hide it
Of course they were quick to hate, they are poor, felt distrust in the previous PKs generations and were ransomed for resources. What kind of explanation could they care to hear when their only focus day to day was survival? Aitor is cool but he couldn't undo all of that just yet and his underlings are those who don't listen to explanations as well. Had it not been for him, that bitch Anderson would have chopped Aiden's hands off. Distrust doesn't come from nothing and not even Aitor seems to care about what the survivors need. See it for yourself that the survivors grew food and made life in Old Villdor prosperous. The game itself doesn't allow peace talk between those people is the only down side.
I know the bizaar are supposed to be good guys, but the PK make more sense and aren’t really bad. They’re at least trying, whereas the bizaar is just being greedy.
So that's weird... I didn't help Sofia and went back to altor. Then gave the water tower to the PK after killing the two. Never got locked up with Sofia at all and went to the water tower to disarm the bombs.
I sided with PK, I helped Aitor he seemed real with me and trustworthy. Glad I see him later after what happens. No more Bazaar for me though as a result. Edit: I am on my 9th city alignment reward unlock, is this a glitch or are you supposed to have 9? There are only 7 zones you can align. Please and thank you.
I actually first chose to go with Aiter plan and didn't interfere but when I captured the water tower (and saw those sick changes to parkour) I switched sides and helped the survivors. seeing as I get less blood from the bazaar on my hands and they clearly had it under control I think I actually made a good choice in not interfering.
But you do end up being the one who blows up, or help blow up a very important regional windmill that can produce enough electrical power for the region. And subsiquiitlly cause PK death of those guarding the dark tunnels.

@@jottys3709 That's fair, gameplay wise Survivors may be better here with map traversals until perhaps you get Parkour up there. Narratively the PK are good in this case.
Story wise the PK was the obvious choice to go with; the Survivors were all really cringy however... gameplay wise except for the Crossbow, none of the PK rewards were that enticing to me because I enjoy the parkour aspect of the game more than the combat so I went with the Survivors. I guess I chose poorly
After finish the game the only legit choice that affect my gameplay is PK level 4 Crossbow are just op af human enemy block ALOT but it can't block crossbow you can just spam them to death Any other stuff from faction are just meh Hook can negate fall dmg and glider can go anywhere so there really nothing important except crossbow imo
Damnit I gave the water tower to survivors for leaving Sophie behind I thought it would've made me join the pks but I got the opposite oh well next playthrough I guess.
I feel like the game was set up in a realistic way where the peacekeepers were actually nice to us because we were new, foreign due to us being a pilgrim, and we were capable of helping them which made us useful. Notice how everyone who did not help the PKs called them out for being self righteous and dictoral. The PK ending did nothing but prove every claim made against them by everyone who hated them, which makes our choices more based on “who was nice to me”, or “which choice is morally correct?” Judging from the results, a lot of people chose based on, “who was nice to me”

its weird cuz most of the sequence I didnt got them.. So what happens if you say no way i wont help
I like Alberto from the survivors, but he dies if you pick the SV. If you pick PKs, does he die?
I went with Aitor, he's a better person, he protects and HELPS his allies, and gets you to the center if you help him, and doesn't hold a grudge if you don't help him, just gets pissed off. Sophie orders around and uses Aiden like a tool so she can take control of the Bazaar, all whilst promising she'll get him to the central loop herself. But then when she finally gets control, straight after the first meeting with Lawan, she just says "nah sorry can't keep my promise, I have more important Bazaar ruler business to attend to, oh by the way there's a way through to the central loop that I could've told you from the beginning, but I didn't want to tell you until you got yourself caught up in local conflicts haha lol get wrecked Aiden"
If you want the bazaar to stay as a safezone, go with the survivors in Old Villedor, but if you don't care for the safe zone, go with Aitor, you'll feel better for it knowing Sophie is a lying cow anyways. Plus you get to kill Barney which is an instant win.

Then their attitude later (BS Barney only ran back when he heard of Birdie’s fate, Birdie literally just passed and we’re on the radio saying it when he’s already there.) it disgusted me, but I played it as cool as possible, I wanted to be moderate about the situation.

My final straw, that first choice point. When I heard the P.K raided the building, I ran in, because I wanted to save them, and I was about to see the P.K as the villains.

Also the peacekeepers bases look cool af compared to the survivors aha
I want to choose the survivors so bad just because of the benefits it comes with but peacekeepers are the right choice
Even one of their sidequests was all about a woman faking the theft of her flour to blame on her own best friend, so that she didn't have to pay the gambling debts of her son.)
So despite the PK appearing kind of militaristic and facist (to a small degree), they're ironically the best hope overall of saving humanity.
Ya I just had to make this choice, and the way they just let their men die and show no remorse or feelings made me choose PK.

And society needs order, people need leaders, that's just how we are.

if anyone wants to know, the choices here WILL NOT affect the ending. If you side with Frank, Jack Matt will set you up by having someone shoot an arrow at Frank and blame it on the renegades. When the TRUTH is revealed, Jack Matt’s men are angry with him and turn against him just before a missile strikes the building. The survivors can go pound salt.
This helps a lot since I've been getting a crappy bug where to dialogue keeps cutting out along with the subs so I don't know what I'm choosing
Me too :( audio tears in general too
Yes, me too 🤬
Yes
Yeah same, hope they fix it soon
I chose survivors they may had almost hanged me but a lot of people would do the same thing and I felt kinda bad for them
I told them I was cool with it XD
Nah mate if they were gonna swing an axe to kill you quickly more than fair enough but they just wanted to hang you and watch you slowly turn they just wanted a show
I chose to bail and go to the metro but after beating Barney , Sophie walked in instead of atriar... Wtf?
Same bro. I think it’s cuz I made the tower survivor but I didn’t want to side with them I just wanted the perks man
When you side with the PK and finish the game the game for some reason in the end sequence they say the PK are actually evil even though they are literally only kind and try to make the infected city a liveable place
I wish there was more endings that allowed for real intricate endings like that.
yeah agree, also matt poisened frank, fuck him
love that with the coop glitch i have 4 zones for survivors and 4 for PK best of both worlds(in the story and gameplay)
I'd rather help the survivors in Old Villedor, Aitor was cool and all but his predecessors stirred enough hate and was nothing but unhelpful in keeping stability in the region.
@@tritrinh568 was it really tho, you only hear that from unreliable sources(sophie and hakon, both could be lying to make them look better), i for one only judge people by their actions and not their words
In the city pk fight the infected clear buildings and make it so that people can live outside the rooftops
@@godzilla5512
Yet the pk blatantly refused to help clear out the biggest “volatile nest” in the city until aiden convinced them with the radio uplink.
They only help when it in turn helps them.
What happens if u help jack and joe
I heard all it does is they come back later and give you a side quest
They will leave the water tower, and later on, you'll find them both in a PK prision.
The only reason I support the Peacekeeper is because of the Dog Mission. F**k the Bazaar.
Man I am so fucking confused both PK and survivors (I would give my kidney to punch Barney in the face) are horrible. I genuinely can't decide who to choose
P.Ks haven’t stabbed me in the back a million times like the Survivors. I recommend the P.Ks.
@@Norinia well you are right yes but the reason i decided to side with survivors is, first, I dont agree with the methods of PKs and just because the leaders of survivors are bunch of fuckbrains doesnt mean the community should be deprived from the basic need of survival. So my soft heart sided with the poor people I guess...
@@primate90 the PKs might have a more ruthless approach but they are the only sane ones. And the bazaar is filled with cunts who tried to kill us at the very beginning.
@@primate90 Dude the poor people are the people on the ground level who the survivors abandoned the Peacekeepers are litteraly streaching there recorces and manpower thin to protect all there citizens and clearing the city to make it livable and giving recorcess to the ground levelers they protect the people on the ground unlike the so Called survivors who are a bunch of elitist pricks. Sure Peacekeepers are harsh but they have to be or the criminal elements would take over. I mean look what happened to the survivors plus everyone would starve and dehydrate if they didint punish those that took all the water and food for themselves.
@@Varnox yeah you are right
It’s true your choices don’t matter as regardless of what you do, someone, somewhere will sucker punch you. They must do it really fucking hard given Aiden falls for it literally every time as if he can never remember getting hit the last time.
I paused the game to watch this and decide and when I unpaused it chose for me
FUCK! Seriously? Who did it go with?
Same lmao
Sh*t go man
I am just doing the same thing :D :D
I paused… then dashboarded…. Still surfing the comments for a good decision… lol
i had something completely different happen i went peacekeeper route and took the water tower but then gave it to the survivors and barney wasn’t arrested
SPOILERS
Also when you give the water to the PK, Barney captures you while you're in the metro on the way to central, which you then have to kill Barney BUT further into the story, you later see the outcome of the Bazaar. Which becomes this rundown horrible building with no UV lights and an encounter with Sophie
So who should I give the water tower too?
@@YEATlover6969 up to you, sorry yo, I’m gonna have to replay the game to find out the other outcomes,
@@franciscoaguirre5591 I ended up choosing the pk and I think it’s better because you get better stuff
Tbh I would choose pk their the only ones protecting people and actually cover more ground while the survivors only has one guy solve all their problems plus the survivors especially barney and Sophie aren't morally good either at least the pks don't try to hide it
The survivors are violent and quick to hate, they don't listen to explanations... Sophie and Barney are beyond annoying too. PK all the way!
The game itself doesn't allow peace talk between those people is the only down side.
the more i watch alternative choices more i like this game 👍
i just chose pk's because their buildings look cool
The bazaar people are no better than bandits, they even look the part tbh
Chose Peacekeepers, Their very scary monsters STILL everywhere no matter who you chose and I want fighters.
I know the bizaar are supposed to be good guys, but the PK make more sense and aren’t really bad. They’re at least trying, whereas the bizaar is just being greedy.
Exactly
At first it was hard to choose but now I’m only going for survivors after seeing what the pks do in there ending
Yoo thanks for sharing. You played the game so many times.
So that's weird... I didn't help Sofia and went back to altor. Then gave the water tower to the PK after killing the two. Never got locked up with Sofia at all and went to the water tower to disarm the bombs.
The issue is, i wanna help aitor but have the survivors things like the zip lines etc
Please and thank you.
yup is an coop glitch, but i hope they never fix that, since the crossbow and reviving survivors are awesome to have at the same time
also its balanced as all things should be
@@yellovvcake ok cool, thanks for the reply.
I actually first chose to go with Aiter plan and didn't interfere but when I captured the water tower (and saw those sick changes to parkour) I switched sides and helped the survivors. seeing as I get less blood from the bazaar on my hands and they clearly had it under control I think I actually made a good choice in not interfering.
this
But you do end up being the one who blows up, or help blow up a very important regional windmill that can produce enough electrical power for the region. And subsiquiitlly cause PK death of those guarding the dark tunnels.
@@RyuRyokai that is also fair but in terms of doing a survivor run i still think it might be better to do what I did. And hey, what are a few lives and an energy source for big part of villedor when I get some sick new zip lines across town
@@jottys3709 That's fair, gameplay wise Survivors may be better here with map traversals until perhaps you get Parkour up there. Narratively the PK are good in this case.
I hope they add a new game+ that allows you to bring your plump max level Aiden back to the start to redo choices at the cost of increased level AI.
Story wise the PK was the obvious choice to go with; the Survivors were all really cringy however... gameplay wise except for the Crossbow, none of the PK rewards were that enticing to me because I enjoy the parkour aspect of the game more than the combat so I went with the Survivors. I guess I chose poorly
sophie aint cringey, lawan too
After finish the game the only legit choice that affect my gameplay is PK level 4 Crossbow are just op af human enemy block ALOT but it can't block crossbow you can just spam them to death
Any other stuff from faction are just meh Hook can negate fall dmg and glider can go anywhere so there really nothing important except crossbow imo
Damnit I gave the water tower to survivors for leaving Sophie behind I thought it would've made me join the pks but I got the opposite oh well next playthrough I guess.
So is better to help her?
@@magicelkiller I'd say no, I think the PK side is more rewarding but it's up to you and hope you want to do things
@@magicelkiller no especially after my first playthrough pk is what I will do in my second.
@@BassBanj0 ok im going with pk since the crossbow seems pretty decent and would come handy in dark zones
@@ahmadrahman456 im going with pk im right now at that part in the water tower i was asking because if my decision would do something with my ending
I wish they have more story missions with Sophie in the future. She is cute and badass.
bro simping the pk are miles better
I feel like the game was set up in a realistic way where the peacekeepers were actually nice to us because we were new, foreign due to us being a pilgrim, and we were capable of helping them which made us useful. Notice how everyone who did not help the PKs called them out for being self righteous and dictoral. The PK ending did nothing but prove every claim made against them by everyone who hated them, which makes our choices more based on “who was nice to me”, or “which choice is morally correct?”
Judging from the results, a lot of people chose based on, “who was nice to me”
Relationships are an important part of life. Would you help freedom fighters who tried to hang you as soon as they meet you, or the local dictatorship who’s empathetic with you.
The pks are worthless. They use the survivor's food and water -so they can play army- in exchange for protection the survivors don't even need.
Honestly I think you could argue that both sides are right or wrong
Could also be how the Survivors betray or backstab you constantly, break their promises, AND treat you like shit. But sure, authority bad
@@Cyberpsychos_Dirge no. Authoritarianism bad. Much worse than a few shitty people that dont represent the whole. I'm sorry you don't understand the difference.
