I think the main reason less valuable sets bb's get more expensive, is the sealed product in itself becomes an investment and when you look at darkness ablaze, vivid voltage, obsidian flames etc,.. they have Charizard or Pikachu on the box, which probably greatly impacts the collectability of the sealed box. So those are boxes perfect for sealed investments and doesn't really make sense to open. Wdyt?
Thoughts on Shrouded Fable? I feel like it has more cards over $15 then most sets but because there's no major chase card and it has the newer Pokemon then nobody wants it? Could this increase in price in the near future?
It’ll go up long term. It’ll just be out performed by other sets. I still hold Shrouded Fable though. Can’t really go wrong with the Greninja/Kingdra Collection boxes and the PC ETB imo.
Respect to your videos and content but after a while the price of the booster box isn’t related to the price of the chase card or even the price of the cards in the set. But they are close enough in price where you have to decide which one is the Best Buy so I agree with you on that part . It also depends on WHY you’re buying into these sets, for example if you’re buying cause you want a position in a box you don’t currently have then now is the best time regardless which set.
" the price of the booster box isn’t related to the price of the chase card or even the price of the cards in the set " If what you say was correct, all boxes would be at the same price. So clearly what you claim in incorrect, as the various different prices of the boxes proves your statement wrong.
@ sword and shield base set is $300 a booster box , the chase card isn’t even close to $300. I meant to say the price of the booster box isn’t ALWAYS related to the price of the chase card so you’re right I was wrong in the way I worded it .👍
I think you’re missing a long-term outlook on this stuff man. In 10 years, are people gonna wanna chase Charizard and ninetails or obscure Pokémon that people don’t remember like raging bolt and iron crown. I think current value won’t reflect future value in these cases
Bro I love your passion for Pokémon and investing, I have the same passion. But my guy you need to go to the theater, go on a date, something my guy. Time to come out the cave my guy.
Vapor I'm walking in nature right now seeking the answers my dear friend
I bought a few base and paldea evolved last year, good purchase
Same here. Got base for 89 and paldea for 120
Paldea Evolved is the best set out of the four. It had the Vaporkarp.
Side note regarding Base set: the grading plays are crazy, the poor print quality has caused a high premium for some of the 10s

Paldea evolved for me. Picked up a case of it just last week
Just got 2 paradox at 144 on tcg and 1 paldea for 199 on tcg then my local card store had a stellar crown bb for 130

Got 6 paldea evolved for 165 each last week
Astral Radiance PC ETBs are down to 6032. It's selling more than 1000 a day
Paldea to the moon 🚀 I have 68 boxes 🤓

Reprints don't drop prices anymore, reprints are moot nowor popular sets.
Nah I personally don’t believe that maybe base and obsidian don’t get reprinted but my guess paldea and paradox gonna get 1 more reprint

I actually think you’re right. A lot of the alt arts are extremely undervalued
I'd go for Vivid voltage. Paradox Rift no one wants. There's over 20k stock on PC
do you have beef w shinyvert? why does he delete comments if they mention you
Don’t know, I don’t watch him. Tbh I don’t think a lot of people like me in this community so I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t either lol.
Big Peeeeeeeeee 🚀
