Overshown is impressive. He definitely was the player of the game on thanksgiving
Overshown SHOULDVE BEEN THE ONLY ONE getting credit this year. Game in, game out, he has been bringing it. And it SHOWS. Dude plays like a freak on the field and always carries that energy. When the others didn’t bring it, he still did. He’s been my favorite defensive player to watch this season. Dude FLIIIIEEEEES around the field. It was nice to see the rest of the squad show the same energy last couple weeks.

Look how he tackles. He jumps on you and wraps arms around your chest. Gravity takes over he falls behind the runner and they go down in a roll up. I have never seen tackling like this. He is like a damn cannon ball

Overshown and Parsons on the same side is scary. It's like a double barreled shotgun, bang bang. Impossible to contain them for longer than 3 sec

Overshown reminds me of Kam Chancellor
He's definitely a playmaker.....but I am still not seeing the guy we need that plugs the holes in the run defense. For all the criticism our D-lineman are getting, I am seeing a lot of plays that should be made by the LBs. And they get blown off the ball fairly regularly (or just out juked by the RBs).
I’m guilty of referencing PFF but this guy has a 60g on there. Just for when you are ever thinking of referencing pff in an argument lol
He's about 215 (no matter what JJ and Stephdumb want you to believe), and has zero shot of surviving in this league at that size.

He is an in the box strong safety. He is too light to continually play linebacker. Look at the tape when he goes up against better linemen and teams with better records. Good player but he is playing out of position for the NFL and his longevity

I disagree, OVERSHOWN begavn the season in Cleveland destroying Watson. Howevrr he then reinjured his hip poimter in game 3, in g ame 2 Zimmer hardly used him. He miss3 the fi,tst Giant,s game 😊

If he's any good, he'll get an in-season extension next year. It's almost as if you don't grasp how things work even though there's plenty of examples each year.
They either get tagged or extended. No one who's good plays until their rookie contract is up, and then they just leave for another team.

I hope another team offers him good contract offer at the end of his rookie deal..The Jones's hv literally destroyed young great players careers with mediocrity.We can name double digit players in 30 yrs that never sniffed a NFC Championship in their Cowboys careers.
You really don't grasp how contracts work, huh? He's a 3rd round pick, if he starts to outplay his contract, they'll give him an extension during his contract so that he won't see free agency and no one ever turns down their first extension because they might not see another big pay day.
If he was taken in the 1st or 2nd, he'd get tagged before allowing him to hit free agency. We see how it works multiple times a year, yet people like you still don't seem to grasp how it works.
Also, only one team wins a Super Bowl each year and the players realize getting huge contracts and making the Hall of Fame are far more important to their legacy than winning a Super Bowl.
Super Bowls are for owners, coaches, quarterbacks, and fans. The rest realize generational wealth and the HOF is the actual goal. You can find Super Bowl rings of practice squad and role players in pawn shops all over this country but you'll never see a HoF ring or jacket up for sale.
