Hey Foots. Just to be clear, Jeanty was born in Jacksonville, but his family moved all over the place and finally landed in Frisco, Texas where he played in high school..
Cowboy's are always behind the curve when it comes to trends in the NFL. They're always reacting to what happened the year prior, and that's why they never make it further than the Divisional round.
I love Kaleb Johnson David Neal is that guy too another guy who isn't talked about is Giddens from ksu and Woody marks from usc both could be 3rd and 4th rounds picks i think it's mandatory for Dallas to draft two running backs then bring Rico back.
If you cannot run the ball you will not be successful even as the nfl changes! Look at game changer is just that we need that! Top 2 RB a must! But that DT in first round is a better pick maybe trade back n get them both some real dudes! We need real dudes in this draft!
Vaugn is a cut candidate; forget about this guy. Draft a premier back, the Cowboys history shows that we always succeed with prime time running backs. Rico will be a great compliment to Ashton Jeanty, and Hunter needs to be our full time full back who can block and run and catch in open space. Emmitt was small as well, 5'9 210 lbs, but he dominated his entire career.
Deuce led division 1 in rushing his senior year! I saw five of those games and I find it difficult to believe that he can’t be a quality player in the NFL! Now he has his college coordinator (who knows how to use him)!

All I know is that we need a durable running back that will handle the rock for a long time. We had Emmitt, Tony Dorsett, Herschel, all durable and dominant backs. Jeanty has a lot of miles, but he's sick you all. It's a tough decision on who's the best fit, but Jeanty may be the next Barry Sanders. We are known for having great backs, so I'm all for a franchise running back that will take us to a nother level.

Rb 2nd round pick and trade the 2 5th round picks for a 3rd round pick call a team in the top 5th or 7th pick in the draft or higher just as high up the draft ladder
That team needs a Cameron Skattebo from ASU, and an Ollie Gordon from OSU. I’d draft both. I don’t usually agree with much you say, or your draft philosophy. I DO agree, I don’t want them to draft ANY lineman, on either side, this year, before the 3rd or 4th round. I want RBs, TEs, and WRs. Would love a see REAL MLB, in Dallas (it’s only been 20 plus years since we’ve seen any real talent at that position) other than that, they need ANY kind of offensive firepower. Unfortunately they are stuck with the choker at QB, but we’ll have to wait for another year for them to address that position. They’ll be drafting high in 2026, so they can get a Left Tackle and QB then. The major issue though, beyond who they draft, because they won’t aggressively pursue any FAs, so we can forget about that. The major issue is WHAT IS THIS COACHING STAFF GONNA LOOK LIKE? If they don’t get serious, and hire a really good coach, who KNOWS how to run an offense, that can win, it matters not who they draft. If they don’t change their philosophy on FA, and get a great, young, and motivated coach here, it’s not going to matter. I would LOVE to see Ben Johnson, the OC in Detroit, get a serious consideration, instead of the same lame HCs they hire every ten years, Bill Parcells, excluded! Problem is, of course, the ownership duo. If they don’t stop trying to outsmart everyone in the room, and stick to this build through the draft philosophy nonsense, it’s gonna be another long 3 or 4 years. Also, shame on any one in here who is wishing death on Jerry Jones. That man may be a greedy, selfish person, who loves the sound of His own voice, but he’s a human being. Is he a bad owner, well, since the year 2000, he has been. It’s absolutely disgusting and despicable to wish death on another man. No matter who they are, or what they’ve done.
