You don't take an average OL over a special back. Larry Allen was a 2nd and Eric Williams was a 3rd. Nate Newton was not drafted. Tuinei was a late round pick as a DL. Newton and Tuinei were the only two that played on the Cowboys Great Wall the entire time. OL is unit play, not individual play. Get a great OL coach.

If there is a running back graded higher than a offensive lineman then yes take him otherwise build your team through the trenches

@@operadoc it's because the scheme doesn't fit the personnel of the o-line. Tyler Smith & Martin at guard are maulers and their strengths are man to man blocking instead of zone blocking run scheme. Good coaches run schemes that fits the personnel. Even in GB Mccarthy didn't know how to utilize the run game effectively
