Hello, this video was shot before Minimalist launched their Tranexamic acid serum. After using both the serums I feel that the Tranexamic acid serum has a better formulation than this AA serum.

Were you using any other actives and peels during these period? Like was it only alpha arbutin and the chemical peel which helped you with this situation?
What is the best cleancer and toner to be used with Alpha Arbutin?
Can I use any active creams like kojicglo forte cream along with this serum simultaneously
I use the Ordinary Aha Bha peeling solution once a week. So if I skip this on the day I use the peeling solution. Will it be ok?
(p.s I have a hyperpigmentation on the bridge of my nose and on my chin, my skin type is dry)

Hi dear.... They wrote in direction for use - apply after cleansing and hydrating with Hyaluronic Acid... Is it necessary to use it aftee Hyaluronic? I've only Alpha Arbutin 2%0& HA 1.... But my mother has very very dry skin... If i find it useful... Is it ok if my mom use it after Hyaluronic ?

Hey I've their Salicylic Acid 2% & Alpha Arbutin & L'Oreal Paris Revitalift 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum & my main concern is Hyperpigmentation & Uneven Skintone.

Ok, there are many questions about the application process of alpha arbutin.
Should it be applied on damp skin or dry skin?
After talking to the Minimalist team, I can say with surety that it should be applied on clean and dry skin.
The presence of HA in the formulation has caused a confusion, but, we have to take into account the pH of the actives.
I used to apply alpha arbutin on damp skin as it caused dryness. However, I will apply AA on dry skin from the future.
If your skin gets dry, apply good amount of moisturizer and an occlusive after the serum

Yes same happened with me i used their 5%niacinamide on damp skin it cause me dryness as it also contains HA then I messaged them they say main ingredient is niacinamide so I shd use in dry skin ..

What do you mean by damp skin? Is it immediately after cleansing or after toning? You said everything but didn't say anything about how did you exactly used it either after cleansing or toning??

Hi I always watch ur videos and find them helpful and informative. I have a question. My skin is oily and sensitive yet I don't have any acne . My skin is textured as well as uneven with dark spots. I contacted be minimalist team and they suggest me alpha arbutin, niacinamide and lactic acid . I want to know whether is it safe to use more than one active at the same time and if yes then how to use it.
You can use arbutin and niacinamide along side ... It doesn't irritate most people but if you have sensitive skin then use alternate nights. Lactic acid of minimalist is 10% which is a bit high, if you don't irritate using acids on your skin use it about once a week. Else once in 10 days. Also you want to cleanse, tone, then use the exfoliant and wait for 10 mins before you use any active on top. If you still get irritation then you can use the acid for 10-15 mins and rinse it off with water then pat dry and use the serum followed by moisturizer. Go slow and your skin will build tolerance to the products then you might use then all together in the same night but it will take a long time to get to that stage.

Hey do you have any information regarding alpha arbutin being similar to hydroquinone because some studies suggest that it gets converted into hydroquinone. So I am a bit skeptical of trying it because you know since hydroquinone has its risk of causing rebound pigmentation and if AA gets converted to hydroquinone so it is a little scary. Also is the effect of AA temporary like if it fades the pimple marks do they appear again after you leave it. Also is 0.3% along with 10% niacinamide enough to see some results?

Ummm I would suggest putting on a colour corrector before ur concealer. Itll help :)
