My market doesn't stock anything but button mushrooms in white or brown, but I'm going to try the local Italian butcher shop to see if they have anything more flavorful. Worse comes to worst, brown button mushrooms aren't bad, so I'll still make it. The one part that puts me off is the clams because I've never learned to love the texture, but I'm always willing to give them another. Sometimes, you just have to find a way to love a thing.

Hmm.. old video but beautiful looking recipe. Seafood isn’t so cheap over here in Perth at the moment. On that, I’m struggling to get Monini EVOO at the moment, so I got Colavita. I think I prefer it! Need to go back to your EVOO video to see why Monini pipped it at the post. My memory is they were categorised together

Hi I order my pecorino from a food importer but you can get it from harris farm, any respected deli/grocery stores. Dont expect to find it at coles or wollies

@@vincenzosplate haha non è veramente una concezione strana 😄 surf and turf è molto popolare negli stati uniti da dove vengo. allora surf and turf è una concezione come bistecca (turf) con aragosta oppure gamberetti (surf) per esempio. ed in spagna c’è « paella mixta » oppure « paella mar y montañas » e si serve pollo e frutti di mare come gamberetti, cozze e vongole insieme 😅 quello è la ragione per la cuale ho pensato che « monti » volesse dire bistecca oppure pollo, no funghi. anche se io sapessi che gli italiani preferiscono non mangiare carne con pasta, tanto meno carne con pesce haha

You can replace the vongole with any of your favorite fish. You can be creative
