    Thank you so much for posting this video. I found it really helpful in getting my form submissions to track within Google Analytics 4!

    Hi Julius - I followed along and everything was going okay until 5mins in when you switch to see the debug view in Analytics - nothing is showing up for me here even the the Tag Manager assistant shows the events are being fired etc. I'm thinking it could be something to do with the consent mode tab as in the tag assistant it is showing all values as "Denied" - is there a way to fix this?

    Hi there, thanks for your videos. How you would config different Conversion Events, to track different contact forms, for example, in a multilanguage website, when we have at least 3 forms (each for language), so in the Events or Conversion reports will be able to see different stats/metric for each form submission. Regards

    very useful and presumably a report could show the medium source for each form

    Thanks for the amazing video and explaining everything so well. But how do we create a report for multiple contact forms, i know we get the id of the form in GA4, but how do we make it more descriptive for the client and create reports, let's say i have 5 forms on the website for different business devisions, then how do i create the report for that?

      I agree. I would love to see if there is a way to create a vlookup type of formula to match form ID's to the form names...within GA4.

    Hello! I often watch your videos and I'm grateful for what you do, but I have a few questions. I followed step by step of your tutorial, and I got stuck on two things. The first thing, after I set up all the tags and triggers, in Google Tag Manager it showed that the tag was fired, but when I went to Google Analytics, in debug mode, I didn't see anything. And the second thing that I couldn't succeed at all was when I went to set up variables and did everything (event name...) in the free form space, nothing showed up for me... blank space... What am I doing wrong? Please respond. Thank you!!

    Hello! After following all GTM steps I see no debug event on GA4, so I imagine GA4 is not recording them. Any idea why that might be? Thank you

      I needed to publish the changes in tagmanager in order to see it in GA4 debugview.

    Hi! I also want to track the "response" from the form. I repeated the same steps like on "formID" but it didn´t work. In GA4 the output is "[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[obj" instead of form values. Have you any idea what i can try? Hope for your reply.

    What if there is no Form id at the "Select dimensions" section. Only "Event Name". I did everything as you did, but there were no events in the debug view either. Thanks.

      Register Form ID as a custom dimension. As for everything else, difficult to say without seeing your setup

    Thank you! Do you have a video on how to implement Eloqua tracking with GTM?
    Custom HTML tag seems not to work. (trigger on all pages)

    This was very helpful! Thank you. Some sites I have a javascript redirect to the thank you page with cf7. Could you tell me if this listener method works for both if a redirect to thank you, and also if the simple success sent message is shown?

    • @AnalyticsMania
      @AnalyticsMania  7 місяців тому +1

      It does not work with forms that redirect

    Hey, My form id says undefined, what should i do?

  • @MaKerShaperUK
    @MaKerShaperUK 26 днів тому

    so the event count = all traffic to the website regardless of the form being submitted ?

    • @AnalyticsMania
      @AnalyticsMania  26 днів тому +1

      By default, yes

      @@AnalyticsMania I think I'm looking at the problem from the end for the best solution - source medium referrer... was the form filled out by a user from an ad / cpc or organic which is before the event completed form is trigered :) :(

  • @Baadu4940

    Hey, why there's always event count >total users.
    For example,
    If I have a 4 forms in a site which user complete a one form and submit then step1_form_complete event fired and if step 2 form submitted the step2_form_complete event fired and so on for all 4 events.
    In GA4 , let say suppose the total user is 15 and event count for step1 form is is 40 and for step2 form in 50 what does this mean?
    It would be very helpful if you provide your insights for this..
    Thanks in advance 😊

    • @AnalyticsMania
      @AnalyticsMania  9 місяців тому +1

      It means the people complete the step multiple times. Or your events fire too often

  • @selfcanonical

    Is it possible to code these event listeners manually? Let's say for other forms, we don't have a readily available code? Thanks for all the help!

    • @AnalyticsMania
      @AnalyticsMania  9 місяців тому +1

      Depends on how the form is coded. But in general, yes. If you know your way around with javascript.

    What if I don't have a form Id, and I have a form classes?

    • @AnalyticsMania
      @AnalyticsMania  9 місяців тому

      The listener does not push the form class. Form id should be available in the datalayer of cf7 event.
