I think it would be better to have a smaller gear on the drill and a larger one on the wheel so it makes more torque and has better acceleration. Also, more than as a main motor, the drill would be useful as a pedal assistance, on a bicycle like the one you use it would be very simple to have the drill hooked to the first gear and the bicycle chain moving in the rest of the gears without having to modify anything on the bicycle. I am basing my comment on pure theory, I have not done any of this yet but it is how I would approach it to set it all up

Нет необходимости делать столько шипов. Больше шипов - больше их площадь, меньше давления на каждый шип - меньше зацеп. Зимой в шинах важнее давление на площадь контакта, а не ее размер.

This modification needs to be finalized. A screwdriver, like an engine, especially in winter, is far from the best option for automating the movement of wheels on a bicycle. In addition, it has an additional, significant load, like the weight of a person.

Instead of studs, deflate the tire a bit, put a bike chain around the circumference and inflate the tire again.

How fast ist the Ryobi Battery drill able to speed the bike up to?
Only thing I would have done slightly different is the attachment point of the zip-fastener against the shift- bowden line or the brake-bowden line...
sooner or lstet that ziptie will break.
    other then that looking good!

In case this isn't sarcastic they actually do, though most states have them outlawed for destroying the blacktop due to weight. But you can still find tires that have studs that are allowed to be used on ice.

I definitely would have said hook up a alternator or a little motor that can be used to run in reverse Attach to either the chain or the wheel itself to charge extra battery packs for the drill So that way when either you're getting low or you run out of power on the one drill battery equipped to drill You can Easily Swap it out And then use a fully charged one and charge up the old 1 and then when the you take it out swap it with the other fresh battery the 3rd 1 and thone and then keep going from there on in a way once you get those 3 or at least 2 of them fully charged You would have near infinite energy as long as the motor doesn't burn out. And if anything you can hook up a little toggle switch to the wire going to the charger To each of the separate chargers so that way when one is full you can just hit the off button and it no longer sends power to it, You don't have to risk overloading it or it exploding on you
