Nas rewind...crazy he raps the story backwards
"Last Words" Nas raps from the Perspective of a Prison Cell
Nas is Like
It ain’t hard to tell
Nas will blow your mind
The ending to the song is so good, it symbolises that the cycle continues. High level storytelling with a timeless theme. Amazing writing.
Undying Love 🔥
Notice the song starts and ends with damn.
Undying Love next.
We need more NaS reactions
🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🐐
Nas new york state of mind🔥
You do a great job with your reviews. I agree the more you dive into Nas the better you will get as a poet.
Next two has to be these two….
Undying Love
New York State of Mind
Get down by nas story telling is insane
Nas is the greatest to ever touch the mic the goat , and hes one of the greatest writer of all time and that goes in any category and genre if not the best. Do "nas memory lane" and "it aint har to tell" next and nas is one of the greatest poets ever. You can even study his poetry and lyrics.
The previous verse he ended with " I had some other plans, like the next time the beef is on
I'll make myself jam right in my owner's hand". All of the guns were tired of murdering, but Nas had plans of doing something about it.
NaS has about 8 or 9 personification songs.

In my opinion, what you're describing is internal rhymes. Like ABBA rhyme scheme so it allows rhyming in the middle along with rhyming the beginning and end. "Learn to ride the track/know the bass and the snare is basically there/ to provide the pace to guide the track " -ELZHI (Great rapper btw when it comes to patterns and schemes)
(A)Ride the track
(B) Bass and the snare
(B) Basically there
(A) Guide the Rap
Nas did this a lot around this time in his career. He still does it now but he used it more heavily in the 90s.
Great reaction. Another song you should check is SMALL WORLD, immaculate writing on that song. It's like a novel.
Dope reaction definitely more Nas reactions I guess you can tap into his "Rewind" song🙏🙏
Nas- Beef (from the perspective of beef between 2 people)
Nas - “Rewind”
He tells a story backwards. Even the characters’ dialogue in the song is backwards and it still rhymes lol its a ridiculous level of writing. Give it a listen
Nas - Fetus
Nas - Money is my bitch
Nas - Undying Love
Nas - Rewind
Nas - Last Words
Nas - Ether
Nas - It Aint Hard To Tell
Nas - Nas is like
Every single one of these songs is a masterpiece. And Nas has many many more. Had to throw Ether in there lol.
If you remember, in the verse before Nas said the next time, he was going to "jam right in his owners hand." When he was talking about "the moment he was waiting "(for) he wasn't ready to kill, he was ready to "jam in his owner's hand." I saw a suggestion for "Rewind " by Nas. You really should try that one on next if this one impressed you. You'll probably pause the video a million times. (Lol) Nas has several mind-blowing lyrical and conceptual performances.
Bet, I’ll watch that one next!
The previous song ending from this album is connected with this song.
Nas fest R. Kelly.. 'Street dreaming remix'
This a a great song!
I feel that Nas got some inspiration for this song from the original Toy Story movies - I think it came out a year or so before this song
Stray bullet from organized confusion....
As for lyrical rap, seriously, I wish you could speak Polish, because Łona does rap in that very language. Lyrical genius. But when it comes to English... Aesop Rock, I recommend you his work, for example "None shall pass.
Check out wishin by Masta Ace and Edo G
your analysis be off a little bit but you got most of it
It’s just the perspective of a gun…the second writer I’ve seen over think it
