    If spring times the warm days correctly, the spring motorcycle meets have the most attenders, because everyone are eager to get back on the bikes.

    not many adventure bike. For ADV bikes is another session opening event? or in FIN not acctually adv bikes?

      There's a lot of adv bikes around but I think this 'Vappuajo' is not really that interesting for people diring knobbies so most bikes tend to be road oriented in these.
      There is actually a big event in the summer for gravel and offroad bikes only. It has hundreds of participants every year :)

    Nice video as usual. You drove with lots of people around and with slow pace what can you say about the engine heat?

    • @PatchedBandit
      @PatchedBandit  4 місяці тому

      Not much yet as weather here is still very cold. 0-10'C usually but from what I hear in summertime the right side of the bike gets hot.
      I will report more in detail my experiences with the Tuareg probably at 5000km after doing some extensive offroading too.
      I might also do the full exhaust swap and ECU tune later to see if that has an affect on the bike and the heat as some of that heat might be coming off the CAT?

    Welcome to the Finnish summer. Lots of vintage bikes like the black bomber Yamaha XS 1100. They're legendary, but a modern bike has way more dynamic performance ;-) Happy days on your Tuareg, Günter/Nürnberg

    By the number of Aprilia bikes at this gathering you understand what is the general sentiment towards this brand in Finland and I think most other countries outside Italy. It’s really hard to shake old prejudices
    Enjoy your bike it’s made for you (strong experienced and not too tall 🤘)
    Cheers 🍻

    Plenty of bikes there too, waiting more tuareq content. Some light enduro once snow has melt

    Some constructive criticism, and i hope you take it lightly :) : I wish this video was shot with 60fps, fast movements really need higher fps for smooth footage. Also the shadows/dark parts are too dark (loss of detail) - at least on my monitor. Otherwise nice casual video, i liked it. We also had season opening events for bikers and classic cars this weekend and previous weekend in Estonia. Anyways, i wish u a good season with the Tuareg :)

      True. I forgot the camera on 25fps. I usually shoot these at 50fps because I live in the PAL region. But footage with 50fps is less choppy just like 60 would be too.
      These things tend to happen here and there 😅 Will try and set the thing right next time 😄

      @@PatchedBandit It's also the super wide angle on the DJI Action cam. Standard is more natural, movements don't look like a cartoon movie. Cheers, Günter/Nürnberg

      Mine is on the normal "wide" angle here. I haven't used the widest "superwide" since last summer as it looks weird :)

      @@PatchedBandit My mistake, I thought it was superwide. The narrow angle is too focused, standard on the DJI works best for me. Thanks for recommending the Action 3, a very good camera indeed.

    How comfortable is Tuareg at highway speeds? 120 km/h and so. I am at verge of getting one 😅.

      @PatchedBandit  4 місяці тому +1

      Very comfortable for a mid size bike. The windscreen is better in my opionion compared to for example Tenere 700 that I owned previously. I could ride this all day at 120.
      Small lip added to the windscreen would be a big benefit for removing some of the wind noise though.
