- The Neo Race Spec Truck, like the buggy version, is the most well-equipped RTR to come from the Kyosho factory, where they're created eight World Champions - more than double all other manufacturers combined. So you know when you're getting a Kyosho, there are decades of design experience in every vehicle.
The ST RS features an aluminum material that is stronger than the chassis of the previous US SPec truck. The chassis of the ST RS also features a distinctive gunmetal anodizing, along with a number of other chassis components.
The KE25 engine is one of the most significant improvements in the ST RS. It features more modern port timing for aggressive performance, and the racing style-rear exhaust fits most engines and pipes, so aftermarket components are easily interchangeable. The KE25 is a 5-port engine with very good power output. It's fitted with a Zero-Loss pullstarter, which doesn't draw power from the engine once it's running, unlike most other pullstarters. Lastly, a three-shoe clutch is included as standard, which is similar to what is used on the ST-RR Evo racing truck. It uses the same type of interchangeable spring and aluminum clutch shoes for the best engine performance.
The Race Spec also features a quality 2.4 GHz Syncro Radio. The Syncro features exceptional range, 15 model memory, failsafe, digital trims, backlit LED panel, and more. It's an exceptional system that sells on its own as a great radio, but it's included and installed in the Neo Race Spec.
The differentials of the RS feature 4.3:1 ring and pinion gears, providing a similar ratio to the ST-RR Evo truck. Front universal driveshafts get the power to the wheels, while free-running dogbone shafts handle the power to the rear wheels. At the ends of all the driveshafts are the new 4-inch wheels and tires, which are 2012 ROAR legal. The package is capped off with a body similar to that which is used in by the team drivers like Cody King and Jared Tebo. This is the same body style that helped to deliver the ROAR National Championship. - Авто та транспорт
Im still in love with this truggy. I really want a brushless, but man, this thing is beautiful
Get the Psycho kruiser! it uses 70% same parts and is brusshless!
This thing looks so bad ass.
KYOSHO FOREVER !!!!!!! THE BEST !!!! THE KING OFF ROAD !!!!
Love on first sight...
@cloudwind23 No, there's not an electric version, but the IFW451 conversion can be added to install a brushless power system. I have one one my buggy.
Yes. I would suggest adding the extra gears in the diffs and getting some race tires, but other than that, it's up to the job.
this its the one i gonna buy
NICE !!!
Cool!
I ❤ KYOSHO
Hot rod hobbies! Love that track :) the layout was for the round 8 jbrl.
Cool!💥💥💥🔥🔥🔥👍👍😃
It seem to be a great car at the track. I remember i was thinking of purchase this, but i already had to many rc cars back then.
Want one!
nice jumpping
@matthewdiscovery1
Yes, there are many Kyosho truggy parts that will fit the Neo RS Truck.
Yes it is. This truck can be easily started with either the pullstarter, or starter box without any modification.
It runs approximately 40-45 mph, which is the typical speed of a racing truggy. It can go faster with a larger clutch bell, but it's set-up from the factory with a good all-around gear that will provide strong acceleration and reasonable top speed.
This looks really good except for all those phillips head screws. Kyosho please use hex on all your screws.
If you know the speed, the distance traveled in one minute is divided by the circumference of the tires and the final drive ratio. That gives you engine RPM.
I believe Cody, who races with AKA tires, installed a set of soft compound Grid Iron Truck tires from AKA for that segment on the race track.
@TheWalfrid This is a very capable truck, but if you want a full-blooded competition machine that's the best, the ST-RR Evo is the truck for you.
Wait! LOL you did not take advantage of those nice 6 foot bmx jumps! LOL
Cool video!
can i use this just for bashing ? i love the overall handling and speed..as i can see in the video
The servos are 5-volt max and the amp draw is low but I haven't measured it. it should be compatible with any receiver.
You might expect to to say yes, but it IS a good truggy. One of the dealers who is a big fan of the truck, races it against the $1000 to $1500 racing trucks, and routinely places second or third. I think he's not winning because he's getting older and slower like me (LOL) but for less than a third of what it costs to buy a full-blown racing truck and all the gear that needs to go with it, I'd say it does really well for the investment.
@matthewdiscovery1
Amain DOES stock all the parts for the truck. If you open the exploded view of the manual, pick through some part numbers and I think you'll find that they have most of them.
What is the difference between the Neo ST and the other Inferno Neo buggies? I have recently bought the brushless Neo Race Spec and I absolutely love it !
nice jumping
Hello can anyone tell me why the two gear are missing in the front and rear diff. I love this truggy. Nice vid best bit is cody kings driving
@eaweclipse
With the stock engine as it's geared out of the box, it runs 42 mph. This is typical of off-road racing vehicles, which are optimized to run on a dirt circuit instead of high speeds only. If geared with the IGW008 Inferno GT2 2-speed, I'm sure it could get to a much high speed.
super
hello having a bit of trouble, trying to break in my inferno truggy, I start it and it revs really high, manual says not to mess with needles during break in, the rpms are ridiculously high. I think I need to adjust something.
Of course. It's a great basher.
Using the speed, diameter of the tires and the final drive ratio, you can calculate the engine RPM.
lol @ 5:40 .... right in the bag!
geat vid. got the same kyosho truggy. can u please tell me what the engine size is please
@FrancescosaHD
There is no official information yet, but it may be coming in early 2012.
i dont know if i should get the red white blue or the green and black one.
is the flywheel low enough to use a starter box?
Can parts from other kyosho truggies fit on it?
are the electronics water proof?
I wanna buy one but amainhobbies doesnt stock parts for it
is it durable enough for track racing at an intermediate level?
Hi is the kyosho st rtr truggy any good for racing.
Why are the two gear missing in the diff any help
Where can I buy that nitro engine
why philips screws ?
whts the top speed kilometers?
where are you find this information ?
There is not an electric version of this truck, is it?
how much rpm is it
where can I buy this?
I live in the netherlands :)
Good truggy?
how much does it run for
I might be getting 2 of these but both have broken engines so im swapping them to be electric
What is the top speed???
how fast?
The engine is 4.1cc, or .25 cubic inch.
There will be a inferno neo st not race spec??
The engine is a .25 c.i., or 4.1cc.
how ?
I still so want this. Anyone lookin for a 5th scale?
There will only be a Race Spec version.
Are they running stock setup with stock parts
Yes. 100-percent stock.
About 40,000 RPM.
no no no a race, fast racing engine will blow the nuts out of this engine who comes with it, just put a novarossi P5 in it who goes up to 38000 rpm and you easily got a top speed up to 48 mph or a faster racing engine like a RB WS7 L2G 50 mph minimum, a Novarossi Toro Nero TEAM who is a long strong 7 ported beast with 41000 rpm I have 14 racing engines and this engine who comes with the car is not even a club race engine...so come on don't give wrong information here to people, it's only a Sport engine what comes with this car and i have no ideas how much bhp it has either, maybe 2.2 hp. A racing engine goes from 2.5 hp to over 3 hp 3.5 hp if it's a .25 race engine, but the .21's are still the fastest and some have ekstreme torque, like my Novarossi modifyied .21 Virtus who has 3.5 hp and 41000 rpm and it gives 50 mph with a 13T clutchbell but i can't use so low gearing i have to go up to 15T and it gives 90 kph still with a set up ment for spead, it has a brutal low end. it's to fast to use on a track. 18T will give it a top end over 65 mph. My Xray NT Touring car with original gearing has around 44.000 RPM and the top end is 120 kph the bhp is 1.9.
just under 68 kph
how fast is it?
With the included gearing it runs @40-45 mph (65-72 kph)
🍎❤💋👍
make a backplate !!! no pull , no roto start !
το έχω ολόιδιο το πρασινο
thats green not yellow ffs
