I know it says that this song is about Rachel’s relationship with Finn but I believe that it’s about her relationship with the New Directions as a whole as “how many times will it take” could refer to Rachel wondering how long will it take for the glee club to accept her and stop looking down on her, “my best intentions keep making a mess of things” could refer to the fact that every time she tries to help it backfires for example the mattress commercial, she tried to get them their big break but it led to Will not being able to go with them to sectionals, “I feel the weight of the world is on my shoulders” could refer to the fact that the New Directions basically depend on her to win and only want her in the club for her voice and “finally someone will see how much I care” could refer to Rachel wanting the glee club to see that she’s not as selfish as they think she is.

@@icepoison444 she sang about her relationship with finn her best intention mess up by cheating on fin and findly he see much she care she thow wist by see him quinn again her life is fair becase he not in it this all about how much she loves him long many time take by get right with finn findly someone see like Finn and rest glee cub end season 2 about her seeing the love of her life with Quinn but she win him back this about finn ??.
No matter what Rachel was going through when she wrote it, Glee has given us this amazing song, that really resonated with me at the time. As a teenager going through lots of misunderstandings and conflicts with my mom and feeling detached from my school colleagues since I can remember, this song touched that guilt I had that everything bad happening around me was my fault and that I could eventually never get things right.
