They just released a pair of Philippine Eagles in the forest of Burauen, Leyte a couple of months ago. They stand 3 feet tall and a wingspan of 6-7 feet. Maybe that's what you saw on top of the mountain?
Appreciate you sharing the adventures in Leyte… your enthusiasm is a great word of mouth for the province. Yes- I love Leyte… and Southern Leyte too ( where my in-laws are). Keep coming back… great easy going upbeat content.
Great video ... I also visited a place called Hebacong Sea of Clouds Viewing Deck near Borongan City Eastern Samar early in the morning with my girlfriend back in March. It was truly breathtaking. I can't wait to be back in a few months. ✈🌏 - Felix P I really enjoyed exploring the Eastern Samar eastern coast. Very similar to your video but with an ocean to the east.
I’ve got the service interval coming up where I will ask them about it then. I’m still out traveling around Leyte, but heading back here in the next couple days.
Great roads!! Love to be out of the city, thats when you see the real Philippines. I think the law is you are supposed to wear a helmet but the enforcement is lax in most places outside of the city. The law should also mandate the wearing of glasses. Way too many bugs, gravel, rain, and of course the sun in the eyes. Most do not wear glasses, and I see so many with their left hand shielding their eyes from the sun, similar to a baseball hat brim. The scooters are lower to the ground so they don't have the clearance at times so they do have to slow down. Google maps will show you a shorter route which at times that is not the best route in the Philippines. I wish there was more options for road avoidances such as dirt roads or atleast alert me of such upcoming roads.
What was so odd about Baybay was no one was wearing helmets. I've been in areas where some folks didn't but there most did not. Mary Rose asked about this and got some story about how local goverment almost wants you to wear no helmets due to an incident that happened where a shooter was wearing a helmet. So odd. I always wear a helmet and glasses and don't feel comfortable without one but I let other's choose for themselves in that area. .
@@CarefreeChris Cebu as you mentioned is a stickler for the rules whereas in the province not wearing a helmet gets over looked, just like not wearing closed toe shoes. I too always wear some sort of helmet, did back in the USA too even though in most states wearing of helmets were optional.
Do you feel like the air deflector, wind screen, is effective enough? Maybe you already ordered a taller wind screen? Will definitely check out Baybay some more, love that they speak Visayas there. Thanks, Chris...Jim
I think I have a better chance of running into here in Cebu City as she’s there now I think. I don’t really keep up with. If she is back in Leyte she’s from a really small town where there really isn’t anything for me to do there
Great footie dude, with the limited words you can use on a live stream reply as well as by the time a reply is read its kinda already past tense, guess what im saying dude is hopefully i wasnt rude on your livestream but its hard to express views with limited words and the 15 second interval before you can reply again.. great filming, bike sounds smooth and fun, leyte'r rip.
I understand and you’re fine. I just don’t want to make her life anymore difficult than it already is. It didn’t work out between us but I can still have an impact on her life and I don’t want that to be negative.
The roads are better than I expected. Good job Leyte.
They really are. Roads in general in the Philippines are much better than I expected.

It may have been. Really beautiful bird, large with a white head.
Awesome video.. Thanks for sharing your day with us...
My pleasure 😊

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Very peaceful brother, seems like it never ends
I feel the same way
everybody is so friendly? I love it.
They are. Love it here
Chris maybe your best riding video Loved it Thanks
Wow, thanks!
Good clean air and gorgeous views. All of those palms 🌴 look relaxing . Enjoyed the ride along. Thanks Chris and Mary Rose.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow look at the views
I know right
I love your camera setup.
Thank you. I’m having fun with it. It’s not quite dialed in on the new bike but it’s getting there
19:04 yeah yeah the stopping for just a second - always fun times that 😏
lol right

I'll check it out! Thanks for the suggestion.
Awesome video, but i have a dumb question, did you have a drone follow you for most of the filming? Very cool footage man
I shoot with two insta360 cameras. Really cool technology
What a beautiful place. Did you get you back brakes bled yet and if you did, did it fix the problem?

Wow how beautiful
So nice
Great Ride Chris ! So Beautiful
Yes it was!
We love exploring Leyte..my Asawa is from there, it's beautiful! Daha Deku area..near mountains and shore line..
It really is!

Good video 📹
Thanks! 😃
Another great video 👍

This is my first bike with a windscreen. I kind of find it mildly annoying with bugs hitting my face more often and microphone noise.
No hitchhikers 👍
lol right
Good for you both, got helmets on.
:)
You went there by bike but ill be there flying you both😂😂😂
You will be a wakwak?:)
Lol I used to live in bay bay in 2008
Love it. I wish I was here then too:)
Whether you wear a helmet or don’t, is not the question. The question you should ask yourself is “What do you have to live for?”
I’m with ya. I don’t feel comfortable without one but that’s me
¿ whats your take on the honda crf300 rally for eveyday normal riding in the streets of cebu city
Everyday riding in Cebu City I'd do a scooter taxi:)
I'd get the crf300 for the dirt roads that are outside the city
Yes, what a great place. ❤ Filipinos often don't realize in what an amazing country they live.
See you Leyte'r.... alligator 🐊 😂
So true!
There’s a spider on your shoulder😮
Lol
Good that you’re riding a man’s bike instead of a 150cc childrens bike😂
Byebye is cool,
I can’t wait to go back
And no deer to jump out in front of you.
lol that’s right. Just dogs:)
Been in Manila Duma, Siquijor, Cebu and most of the dogs that I seen were sleeping, in the road though 😳. ha ha ha.
@@billlloyd9755the sleeping dogs are funny.
Just wondering how close you are to your ex ? From what I remember she lived in Leyte . Hope you don’t run into her 😂
That's why he went there with his body guard 😂
