Really enjoyable video 😊 Leyte sure is beautiful! The drone shots really added to the video 👍🏼👍🏼 I will look up rice farming to understand the planting and harvest🍚
Back at the F!'n Lodge 😆Nice cliffhanger at the end "brb" ..🕗🕚..😄 Great ridin vid. Had it all, wind in our face, aerial views of the paddies, greenery for days, drive-bys (w/honkin), and a babe smiling like she..well..you know..rly enjoying herself 🤙🏽
Okay I'm going to chime in a little bit about Mary Rose not wearing a helmet 😄 Iha, magsuot ka ng helmet kung sakali maaksidente kayo. We care about you. Okay, please relay that message to Mary Rose 😄 Another beautiful ride. Y'all got pretty high up there. I love how lush the area where you were. Ah Chris, we are getting more and more anxious to come home to Pinas. My husband, the kids, my father in law are nonstop talking about our upcoming trip. Thanks again for taking us along. Ingat.
Thank you for the concern though I prefer riding without helmet but yeah we will get one for sure because Chris keeps saying that too that even though it's not so strict here about the helmet of a passenger but it will keep me safe. Thanks:)
Nice views!! Yes rice season is starting up again. Had sooo much rain that there is not shortage of water that is for sure. Most of the rice farmers do not sell the rice, they grow it for their own consumption. I am surprised it is only the second time you got stuck in the rain after being here this long. Having a good rain suit is key. I also got some mesh gym shoes to ride in the rain with, much better. Those roads can not compare to being in Cebu for a rider. So awesome to be riding with all the beautful sights, sounds, smells. Love it.
A lot of WW2 battles in that area. My Unit the 1st Cavalry Division fought in that area. I would love to MC tour that area but wife of 28 years has no interest. Love the riding videos.
Ya, can see you don't miss the traffic in Cebu when you are riding in Leyte. Forgot about the footwear requirement for riding a motorcycle. thanks for pointing that out. Eye protection obviously is a must, especially if you get behind a truck. Your slope numbers weren't bouncing around so much this time, although it didn't look like you were going up any big grades. Where did you get the 'Shoei' helmet from? You buy in a shop or online? Love the motorcycle vlogs too, they are great. Thank you, Chris...Jim
Thanks Jim. I think I mentioned foot protection as a requirement. As far as the helmet, I picked it up at the SM Seaside. Nice helmet for sure and hard to find here in most motorcycle stores
Hi Chris...thanks for the video man. Very nice. I am in miami Florida . Love motorcycles, drones, and I am planning to go and live in Philippines in January 2025. I will love to be part of your future motorcycle club..Nos vemos pronto.....hahaha
@@CarefreeChris wow…I grew up in that area until I was nine years old. I then moved to America. My next trip to the Philippines this coming December, I will permanently reside in the Philippines. You should go zip lining there in Leyte! The place to zip line is at the largest bridge in Leyte. Stay safe and enjoy Leyte!
Thanks for sharing! Do you feel that the RE 350 is powerful enough for touring the Philippines with luggage and a pillion on most country roads and mountain roads?
@@CarefreeChris yes the Royal Enfield are an interesting option. Well priced and seem to be better reliability wise. I’ve seen some 650 Intercepters on marketplace that have gorgeous retro look, remind me of the old triumphs
Chris, don't You ever just want to go full throttle. You have more control than driving 20 to 30 miles per hour. You might be able to stop more quickly, driving the slower speeds. You can avoid things better at higher speeds. You just have to be more aware. The three accidents I have ever been in, were at speeds less than 25 mph. If I were driving 50 mph, the three accidents would have been completely avoided.
It's hard to get above 40 MPH in the areas I've been. I've adjusted to the slower speeds and love it. A lot of that has to do with the bike I bought, 300 cc:)
Thank you for the concern though I prefer riding without helmet but yeah we will get one for sure because Chris keeps saying that too that even though it's not so strict here about the helmet of a passenger but it will keep me safe. Thanks:)

Is it already a crime to ride without helmet? Or why is the YT traffic police so active? Note, this is still a free country, where you can decide for yourself what to do or not to do. If you want to rule people here, stay where you are, even if you are right. I ride more secured than Chris.... Helmet, gloves, chest and spine protection, padded pants, boots. But it would be the last thing to reprimand him or anybody else, who do not as I do. Relax and enjoy the show. The reality behind the show is twice as amazing. There is that certain feel, you cannot transport via YT. You have to experience it. Trying to impose US traffic laws here is counterproductive.

Really close. About an hour

Power isn't the issue. Riding triangle is so comfort is the big problem. I also don't have good luggage options.
@@CarefreeChris Maybe the 350 Meteor has better luggage options like rack, pannier and top box?

Dress for the slide, not the ride.

Buy her a helmet! You know better
Different dynamics out here
Slow down Chris she don’t have a helmet on
