- IDF Chief Herzi Halevi reportedly came down heavily on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Army chief criticised Netanyahu for not developing a post-war plan to govern Gaza and ensure Hamas doesn’t return to rule the Palestinian region. “We are now operating once again in [Jabalia]. As long as there’s no diplomatic process to develop a governing body in the Strip that isn’t Hamas, we’ll have to launch campaigns again and again in other places to dismantle Hamas’s infrastructure,” he was quoted as saying by Channel 13, as per Times of Israel.

A war cannot be won without the support of the local population. This is a very general statement. What we are seeing in Gaza is that an army of solldiers cannot win a war if the local population as a whole takes up arms. Where the distinction between a soldier and a civilian does not exist.

There is no difference between Hamas and to the civilian Palestinians. IDF should clear everything on the way. IDF cleared Northern Gaza and they ran to the southern Gaza. Now that IDF is in Rafa, those civilians left in the North then became Hamas. No separation, they are the same terror groups.
