Fun fact: in Ouro Preto, there are lots of churches that the interior is made out of 90% of gold, almost everything is made of pure gold
In the XVIII century, Ouro Preto was larger and richer than New York City.
It's not pure gold, come on now. Gold sheets convers most of the church's interior, so that's why you can't take pintures inside nor touch it. And you can also see people have tried to scratch it out.

While watching the city of "Manaus", you could see a dolphin. It is a "pink dolphin" ("boto cor de rosa" in Portuguese). These dolphins live mostly in the rivers of the Amazon forest, not in the sea.

Im from Rio and i have to agree with you, Rio is so beautiful but the crime is taking over the city, the south has a more free-market vision and doesn't rub shoulders with those who break the law. :(
Honestly as a Brazilian I really recomend you to visit the small towns of Brazil its is nice, safer, it is another Brazil., capitals like Salvador, Rio, São Paulo are too crowded, not very safe. For you that like mountains, you really need to see the region of Mantiqueira in Brazil, so beautiful, the cinty of São Bento do Sapucaí is really special, the national park of itatiaia too.

I have Spanish, Italian and Portuguese ancestry on her side, while on my father's side I have Spanish, indigenous and Portuguese ancestry, but my father is clearer than my mother.

Estivemos no Rio de Janeiro em março de 2024, sou do interior de São Paulo e foi minha primeira visita a cidade maravilhosa. E ela é isso mesmo, uma cidade maravilhosa...fomos no Cristo, no Bondinho, nos Arcos, na Catedral Metropolitana, no CCBB, na casa França Brasil, no Museu do Amanhã, na roda gigante, andamos pelo centro histórico, etc, etc, etc. Copacabana não é só praia, é um bairro vibrante, andamos muito nele. Em nenhum momento nos sentimos ameaçados, fizemos nossos passeios sem guias, sempre a pé ou de carro de aplicativo, e foi uma viagem mágica, não vejo a hora de voltar. É claro que não podemos esquecer que o Rio é uma grande cidade, cheia de turistas, então tenha os mesmos cuidados que você teria em qualquer outra grande cidade turística do mundo.

also this video didn't mention so many places that are simply incredible places to visit here. Such as Campos do Jordao, Blumenao, Curitiba, Gramado, Belo Horizante and Brazilia the nations capital. It misses a lot of places, like the snow on the south regions like Urubici, and Gramado. Many people don't know this, but we have snow on the harsh winters on those regions.
And a lot of other places, Brazil it too big for his own good, and even a Top 30 would not cover most thing we have here.
