I see a few people are getting confused with the free poses you get from the new abyss thinking you also get the character. Genshin will never give out free 5 star characters and that should give you the answer you are looking for. If you get this specific pose, you only get the pose and not the character. You need to own them prior to use these poses. It's like the skins of this game. You can buy skins of character you don't have but cant obvious equip it. Only when you get the character can you use it in game.
How do you get the poses?

The fishing in Fontaine gives you a free sword and a good one
I was just about to say that i thought the weapons would go in a cycle so the next would be a sword or since I’ve been playing since the last bow and thats the only one that hasn’t shown up yet but i guess not

Only way I'll be excited if the first Abyss goes back to 2 weeks every month, that way we'll get 1200 Primogems and with Abyss 2, we'll get 2000 a month. ;w;

It’s been over a year and Kaveh hasn’t appeared in banner or rewards. If you want him bad I would say pull.

I got lucky with my arle and scythe pulls so i might get clorinde, hopfully they dont nerf her too much during beta
She can be nerfed tbh,cause they wanna definitely save good kits for early 5.x patches(and also drain our primos pulling for cloriande just for looks as they did with chiori)

I have a question for the special poses: does the list of characters mean that all the special poses will only be available for them or does it mean that the special poses of 4.7 will only be available for those specific characters?
The new abyss has seasons in it. 4.7 season will feature the listed characters poses. 4.8 will have different characters.

Eh I think the looks nice. But as usual it comes down to taste.
I like Clorinde the most. She’s really cool and a main dps I wouldn’t mind using here and there. Honestly I was hoping she’d be quick swap because Alhaitham and Wriothesely are on field already.
I'm excited for Clorinde; once I have her, I'm going to take a long break from Genshin.

You won't get the character. Just the pose.

You wont get the character for free. It's their photo poses.
You can use her in the new abyss if you have a friend who has it. Other than that you wont get her for free.

Ha, so you also finally succumbed to saving for future characters. I thought you were so sure about spending all your funds for Arle and her signature. But I'm also in the same boat. Signature weapon may be cool but not as cool as getting new characters.
True, Besides Staff of Homa seems to working perfectly for me. Not sure if its good on her or not but currently my Arle is level 70 and doing decent damage.

When do you think Navia's rerun will happen?
Some say it's in 4.7 but recently HoYo isn't following their pattern of reruns. Probably because of the shier amount of characters to rerun. If they do follow the pattern, Navia should be in 4.7 or 4.8.

Same!! Or 1600 primogems,9 million mora and 150 exp books. Those things are WAY more important then some dvmb useless character poses. Bc in genshin you can never truly have enough resources to fully max out a character or multiple favorite characters. It ALWAYS takes way too many resources.

Nothing has come up regarding any banners. Although we had rumors of it being Liyue characters in the chronicled wish. Best to wait for the dataminers to say something on it.
