This is a wonderful video. Extremely valuable! I have learned so much from it. I wish there were more long videos like this. He had so much knowledge to share. I think I've learned more from this video, about the EarthBox tech, than all other videos combined.
It was fascinating to hear about how he arrived at the optimal hole size for the soil aeration screen; how 2 tomato plants in one box yields better than 1 alone; and that he planted crops in the same mix for 9 consective years, never changing it out, between crops.
Brilliant! Can't wait to use mine this year. Thank you!

Just saying that the Romaine lettuce I planted in early June took less than a month to become giant, and now I'm in July going to replant. God bless America!
excellent instructional video! I just purchased two Earth Boxes and the AWS. Looking forward to planting tomorrow. One question. I've been told that a red covering over the soil in the case of tomato's increases growth tremendously. I live in Southern Ontario. We're having a very hot summer (Global Weirding ie Warming) and while we have tomatoes in the raised garden, yield is terrible. I was hoping to take a cutting from the established plants and plant clone them. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your comment..Glad you are getting started with your EarthBoxes! Personally, we haven't heard about the Red coverings, will have to check into that, let us know how that works out for you.
In the replanting section of the video He didn't remove the fertilizing strip! Why? Because it was organic fertilizer?
Thanks for your Observation, it must have been Organic Fertilizer, if not, I always remove chemical Fertilizer before adding new
