Look at the images at 1:00 and 3:20. The former showing triplets and the latter showing an old man, a bird, and a younger man. Can anyone tell me where these "extra" images of God are spoken of in the Bible? Hebrews 1:3 says that Jesus is the "express image" of God's "person." It only mentions a single image. So why the extra stuff?
I hear 2 sides saying that Jesus is literally god the one who created everything or they r 2 different ppl. I wanna believe the truth but I don’t know which one is and I’m sad and lost abt it. Plz help me :(
Only God knows who is worthy of being called a saint in the final analysis. No one has the right to arrogate to himself the authority to decide and declare who is a saint. Who dares to presume such a thing? Some who are declared to be saints by the Roman Catholic hierarchy may not be saints at all, while some who they never imagined to be, may well be saints in God's estimation. How dare anyone think he can decide such matters!
The Church doesn't decide this. Not ultimately. She waits for divine confirmation. This is why rigorously documented miracles performed through the saints intercession are an absolutely necessary condition for sainthood.
1. Agree that there are many people who are not canonised as Saints, who are still in Heaven and thus Saints. This is what All Saints day is for to celebrate 2. The Church has a very strict procedure for canonisation, its not arbitrary and most saints are usually linked to miracles. 3. The Church does actually have authority, read Matthew 16.19
